Easy Set Up

"This is the second wireless router I have purchased in the last 30 days. The first one was a Linksys for my home, which works well, but was difficult to set up for a novice. I purchased the Belkin for my inlaws and I was amazed at how easy it was to set up. I added the wireless USB adapter to an old PC running Windows 2000 and the installation was simple. I hooked up the main computer to the router. After having a fair number of problems setting up the Linksys, it was nice to have this be so simple."

What's great about it: VERY easy installation!! What's not so great: None Yet
"I thought I would have to configure this router some before it started working. I set it up, plugged it in, Windows Home Premium recognized it and had an internet connection before I even hit the 'next' button in the install program. It really was simple! Just had to configure the security (which is optional, if you dont mind an unsecured network). I really dont know what the MIMO stuff is, but this router is faster & I get more distance out of it than my old Belkin NON-MIMO router."

"Got a new computer with a wireless card and bought this to hook up my old HP with a P3 850 mhz CPU. Both computers recognized the signal along with my wife's laptop. Everything was up and running in about 1/2 hour. Can't get any easier than this. Did not need to use the Geek Squad Coupon for set up. You might be able to get a wireless router for less money, but ease of use more than makes up for the extra money spent. Oh, by the way, I love the "Soviet retro style. :->""

What's great about it: Best Price in it's category/Great all-in-one package What's not so great: Ugly
"Bought this router looking to hook-up a non-wireless-ready desktop in a room with no internet access. It was the cheapest all-in-one set. Instructions were easy to follow right out of the box and I was up and running quickly. Also have been using VOIP with no issues. My only "issue" is Belkin's typical lack of style when compared to other wireless router designs. This one's a bit Soviet retro."

What's great about it: reliable, easy setup, fast even on old computers What's not so great: none really
"I shopped around looking for the prefect wireless router and wireless usb adapter. I decided on this package b/c of the Geek Squad installation. turns out that I didn't even need them! Instructions with the package were very thorough and easy and i had it installed in about 20 minutes. US adapter picked up the wireless signal very easily and even some more connections from around my neigborhood! This is an extremely good purchase and I recommend it to those with 2-3 story houses looking for a FAST reliable secure connection and easy no hassle installation"

What's great about it: Very Good Router, set up is easy What's not so great: Setting security for a newbie is not easy
"coverage over the 1800 sq ft house is great, installation of software is easy, the installation of the security was not as well expained. i have XP Professional and i needed a fix for WPA2, so i had to download that at the MS site, but it was free, now that it is installed the WPA2 works well. No regrets buying this router."
