One Word: INCREDIBLE!

What's great about it: Graphics, expansive play What's not so great: None so far
"Demos are crucial in terms of interest, compatibility with my equipment, and to see if this is the game for me. I won't waste money on something I won't continue to use, time and time again. I downloaded the demo (1.8GB). That said, this game will show you what your graphics card will do/won't do. It will definitely put the hurt on anyone who isn't up-to-date with the latest graphics card as per Oct. 2006 (and that was the best back then). Course you shouldn't be playing such high end games if you don't have the equipment. Play PC Monopoly instead. -LOL
My specs: CPU -Intel core 2 x6800 (extreme) at 2.93GHz (game was utilizing 75% of the cpu), RAM -2GB, (game utilized 1.7GB) Graphics: -NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GX2 (1290X960 w/16,777,216 colors) (DirectX 9.0c) (Crysis scanned my computer and selected HIGH graphics settings for everything except Objects Quality which it set on MEDIUM). Razer's Krait gaming mouse.
Even though the game's Objects Quality was only set on Medium, it was well worth the time to look around and appreciate the game's graphics environment. The graphics are truly spot-on magnificent! The detail that they put into this game makes it so immersive which of course adds to the user's satisfying experience.
You can have some side fun and see what I mean about the graphics and playability. Try some simple things like going out on the dock, pick up a barrel and throw it into the water. Watch it hit, go under then bob up and down on the surface. In the camp, pick up and talk to a chicken, read the paper (printed in English and Korean?), and of course drive all the vehicles and pretend you are on Jack A%! when you crash into signs or take them for a swim.
I had the game set on Easy and when the bad guys were around which was often, I felt like it was set for Hard because the action was almost non-stop! Game play is maximized by minimal interruptions of movie storyline. There is just enough to keep you immersed.
Gameplay: Even after you finish playing this game you'll want to go back and play it different ways. The highlight of this game is that it lets you go your own way quite a bit vs. those games in which there is only one way to go. This allows for different confrontations played out in various ways.
I gotta give credit to EA's team or whomever created this FPS masterpiece. They truly had a lot of diverse talent which really rounded out the total user experience of Crysis.
I hope EA survives the competition so that they can continue to produce this caliper of product. That would provide you and me with two or three really great games a year in this genre.
WI, Playstation, XBox and all the rest have their place but when you can fully utilize the power of a PC tricked out with the best hardware... well it just makes life that much more fun! Why not just have one system to do almost everything?
That said, I too plan on getting an AlienWare system with a nice large HD LCD TV/Monitor to create my very own ultimate environment.
Crysis is worth the money, are you? Make it a gift for doing something worthwhile for someone else. Then go out to the store and give the cashier a President Grant and about three George Washingtons. Then go home and have a blast!"

What's great about it: Great Graphics Best Game What's not so great: Some glitches and stalling
"I wrote a review on the other game of the same name. I love the action and the shooting. Now as far as they are saying that you can wander anywhere in the game its not true. I was trying to go a different way near the waterfall and I almost made it then a message came on the screen that I had 60 seconds to get back in the battle zone or I would be terminated and sure enough the game killed me. Also when I finally got up to level eleven the right controler that controls you looking up and down left and right started going so slow that by the time I turned around or took aim I got killed, so be on the look out for that. Then there were white spots that started showing up in the game. I went back and started a new game and there were no problems so I thought the disc was bad so I took it back and Best Buy gave me a new one. So they stand behind these games people. My hats off to them. Over all I loved the game and the graphics. I'm saving my money for a heavey duty Ailenware System...then watch out...lol. This is an awesome game and if you haven't beaten it yet they left the door open for a follow up game so be looking for that. Yes I would definately recommend this game."

What's great about it: One of a kind gameplay and style, great graphics, and excellent mechanics What's not so great: Would be the best first person shooter if it had a co-op
"This game is by far one of the best games I've seen created since Halo. It's gameplay and mechanics are one of a kind and it can definitely keep you occupied for hours and hours. The graphics are next gen, the crisp, and for those with high grade pc's, you will love this game. I recommend any pc gamer or any gamer with gaming pc access to check this one out!"

"This game is the best to hit the shelves in a while. The gameplay is absolutely amazing and clean. The AI is very responsive and the environment reacts to ho you interact with it. This game takes full advantage of your PC.. Here are my PC Specs: E6600 2.4 Core 2 Duo Intel 4 GB DDR2 800Mhz Corsair 600 Watt Power Supply and the EVGA 8800GT SSC
This runs the game in DX10 with very high settings for me. Also, Vista 64 bit helps a lot too!!
BUY THIS GAME!!! It is well worth it if you love state of the art graphics and physics!"
