What's great about it: This black leather hard shell case is great. Its sharp looking and you know that your ipod is protected in it. What's not so great: Once its on the ipod its a little hard to get off. You have to insert a coin or something into the notch on the bottom.

Just what I was hoping for...

What's great about it: Simple, provides optimal protection, all ports are accessible What's not so great: It would be nice if they would include a stick on screen protector
"I was impressed with this case when I got it. I thought that the case would be flimsy leather, which is OK because I was really just looking for something to protect the finish and screen from scratches and scuffs. But it is actually a hard formed case with a leather like finish applied to the outside. So it will also protect your iPod from drops as well. It fits perfect. The iPod does not move around at all inside the case. A very snug fit. I ordered a stick on screen protector seperately because while this case has a screen protector it can still get grime and grit in between the screen and the case's screen protector. So I applied the stick on screen protector and then put the case on. Great purchase. Highly recommended."

What's great about it: Tight Fit, Slick, Always Clean, Full Protection What's not so great: Hard to take off
"What I really like about this case is the material. It is made of leather on the outside. This really good because it is not like those other cases where it is made of gel/gript/sticky material. Those kinds once you put it in your pocket it gets really dirty and it is of poor quality and for some it is hard to get to the buttons around the iPod. For this case, however, You can easily access all of the buttons around the iPod because the case fits so perfectly! Also the wheel is not blocked to access in anyway. This case also has a screen protector built into it which is also a good advantage because it protects your iPod even more. So basically, everything is protected except the scroll wheel, which is O.K. because nothing really happens to it anyway. This is a very thin case and slick one you may think that it will add weight or add extra space around the iPod, but it really does not. It fits very tightly onto the iPod. It will not come out of this case in anyway. And it is just as light without the case. This case is also a two piece so there is a back part and a front part, which is not bad to put on at all, it is actually very easy. However, I must warn you the only bad thing about this case is having to take it off. The only way you can is by taking a quarter and gently twisting it between the open area in the case at the very bottom. This does no harm to the iPod or the case but it is just so difficult to take off (if needed) because of how tight it is around the iPod its self. I would highly recommend this product to everyone who has or is planning on purchasing the iPod Nano 3rd Generation from Apple. This is really the best case you can get for it. If you look at the other cases and their reviews you will see that there are more Cons about it then there is fewer Pros. Of course, as you can see every case must have at least one con, even the iPod Nano its self has some. But this Con is not very bad because you will hardly ever take of the case, it looks great with it on! and has excellent protection all over! This is really the best one you could buy. Get it! you will not regret that you bought it at all..."
