What's great about it: Works
What's not so great: Had to reboot after installation of driver.
After reading the terrible reviews here, I was reluctant to purchase, but thought I would give it a try. Got home installed the drivers rebooted and like magic it recognized the wireless hub. I then plugged in my three USB printers and it recognized each perfectly. I have absolutely no complaints. After trying unsuccessfully to configure a wireless ethernet router with usb port to work with just one printer, this is a breath of fresh air.

What's great about it: It's small
What's not so great: Everything else about it is flawed
First let's talk about the simple power connector. It is on the same side as the usb ports. This makes it very awkward to sit this hub on a desk because the ports will always be facing away from you in the direction of the cord going to your outlet. Now let's talk software. I'm running XP SP2 and this is the first time I've had a problem with unsigned drivers that failed the logos test. Usually when I get the message I can still install the product and it will work. This however leaves at least two devices in the device manager uninstalled or installed, but not starting. At one point I tried to update the firmware, but it would recognize the device. I should have known better, there was another box next to the one I purchased that had been returned. Best Buy Should Stop Selling This Product. It is faulty and needs serious retooling.

What's great about it: None
What's not so great: Unreliable Performance
I have Windows XP Professional and Intel Core 2 Duo. This device partially works sometimes and fully works sometimes, but never works fully all the time. The USB adapter is recognized and connects to the wireless hub most of the time, but not all the time. If the USB adapter is not recognized, then I have to unplug and replug the USB adapter, or reboot the computer. I had two USB printers connected to the hub, and one of the printers was always recognized, but the other printer was often not recognized, unless I plugged and unplugged the printer's USB cable several times and power cycled the wireless hub several times. Sometimes the USB adapter and the wireless hub work fully, but most of the time, I had to fiddle with it to persuade it to work. I was disappointed by the sporadic connections and unreliable performance. Also, the USB adapter had to be connected directly to the computer, not through an external USB hub.

What's great about it: Simple install
What's not so great: Not very functional
I wanted to use this to avoid stringing a USB cable between my desk and the counter where my printers sit. They are only 4 feet apart, but that 4 feet is a walking path. This seemed like a perfect solution.
But ...
1. whenever my computer goes to sleep and wakes up again, all connections are disabled. The wireless transmitter has to be unplugged and plugged in again to reestablish the connections.
2. The transmitter doesn't like being near metal. When it is plugged directly into the back of my PC, I couldn't establish a link to the hub. When I moved the hub to a few inches away from the transmitter, I could get a "poor" signal. Putting the transmitter on a USB extension cable so it was a few feet from my PC got me a "fair" signal at 4 feet from the hub. I'm not impressed.
This product might work for a laptop, but it doesn't meet my needs for a desktop machine that is on all the time.
