What's great about it: Sleek look, large clear text, small size, decent price
What's not so great: Pain to get working correctly
"Bought one for my dad recently for Christmas and was going to set it up and add music to it for him so he would be able to use it right away; however, the device was defective, which was very disappointing because I really liked the look of it. I exchanged it for the same model the next day, but when I got it all charged up and ready to go, the backlight on the device was broken. I am going to be returning this to get a different make/model. I really wish this MP3 player worked for me, but I am too tired of trying to get it to work."

What's great about it: Nice graphics and appearance.
What's not so great: it always freezes and the backlight works only for the first month.
"After departing with my first mp3, I looked up reviews on this mp3 and thought it would be cool. The guy at the store had one too and he liked it. When I took it home it was defective so I exchanged it for a new one. I've had it for three months so I can't get a refund for this. My dad was too cheap so he didn't get a warranty so I can't replace it again. I'm so mad. Right after I couldn't get a refund anymore the flaws came in. If you accidentally press a button while it's charging it stops working and you have to wait until the batteries run out then you can recharge it again."

What's great about it: affordable, goood, loooking easy to work with, excellent sound,
What's not so great: medium battery
"The zune player its great because its gives fans a whole new way to listen to music without having to buy the IPOD. the zune its affordable, good looking, soft, small, affordable, range in variety of colors and gigabytes and over all quality of sound product. However like every product it has its minor flaws such as the limited number of games and inability to have calculator,world clock,. yet despite this this a must have product."

What's great about it: Never had a problem like I've heard about other MP3s
What's not so great: nothing
"I received my Zune about 2 years ago as a gift and I've absolutely LOVED IT ever since I opened the package and started using it. It's easy to use and I've never had a glich. I have photos, videos, and tons of music. I've never run out of room!!! It's great. I highly recommend it and would never purchase anything else if I were to give an MP3 as a gift!"

"I LOVE MY ZUNE PLEASE DO NOT GET ME WRONG...I AM IN LOVE WITH ZUNE, BUT JUST LIKE ALL RELATIONSHIPS THERE ARE PROS AND CONS...AND MY MAJOR AND ONLY CON WITH MY ZUNE IS THE BATTERY DOES NOT LAST VERY LONG.

What's great about it: Wireless, can download songs directly from the device, long battery life, radio, social, share songs.
What's not so great: Have to get use to the software.
"I have owned this for around 6 months now and am about to upgrade to the new 16gb Zune because I like my Zune so much and need more memory. The zune pass is great, you get unlimited downloads for $15 a month. It has everything the iPod has and more now. It's great for discovering new music. The social tells you what other music you would like based on what you already listen to and you can add people with the same taste of music as you to your friends. The radio is cool on it but I rarely use it. I would recommend this to everyone."

What's great about it: radio
What's not so great: bad software, shut down and never works again!
"I got mine at the end of July, and by the beggining of September it didn't work any more. And now I can't return it to the store because it's been more than 30 days. Also, it took me forever to download the software, which I have to say it.. it's ugly and hard to use!!!
The price is too high for something so bad.
I hope microsoft works a little bit more to improve this product. . . ASAP !!!!!!!!"

What's great about it: FM Radio, Personalized Background, doesn't get scratch much
What's not so great: doesn't have "most played, recently played, recently added" list like iPod
"Overall, I'd say that the Zune 4GB is better than the iPod 4GB. I've went on many online reviews and others would say so also. It has a sleek design, good quality, and cool features like FM Radio.

What's great about it: Very protective outer layer does not get scratched, very nice touch scroll for convenience, beautiful display,album art
What's not so great: low battery life after about 20 charges,complicated to transfer music from zune to pc
"This is a very good buy for a buyer looking for a MP3 player looking not only for looks, but also performance, and does not get scratched as easily as Ipods and other mp3 players. Only difficult part is the initial setup, which requires downloading a driver for your computer, which is somewhat difficult to find, and also in transferring music from the player back onto a computer's music library other than the actual zune softaware library. Customer service is very good, and is persistent in helping until good results are achieved. Only problem I see is the screen itself is somewhat prone to minor scratches, which can be removed with hard rubbing with soft cloth."

What's great about it: great picture quality, song sharing

"The song sharing is even faster than on the old 30 gig zunes. the picture quality is very clear, and videos and songs play very smoothly. The only problem i have with it is it's memory. It doesn't have enough!"

"Best MP3 player ever and so easy to use. I'm definitely not computer savvy but I figured it out easily. The only thing I'm disappointed was trying to transfer some of my music from the old format. I had to reload all my music. Otherwise, I am completely satisfied with the Zune."

"The microsoft zune 4gb is an amazing product. It has fine features that like:
-Enough memory
-Sharing music
-Wireless connectivity to your pc
-new look
-small
-And my favorite the Radio feature.
Zune is an amazing mp3 and I suggest buying this as a 2nd demand if you like ipods"

"yes you could go out and buy another IPOD or you could go grab a zune. the ipod came before the zune yes its true but when the zune came out it was better and it keeps its title its lighter than the 4gb ipod it costs less and well its made by microsoft. if your having trouble on deciding what to get its simple put that i pod down and grab that zune."
