What's great about it: Intense game, good training under pressure
What's not so great: Cannot play with other people online

"This game is hard and it took me couple times to complete the game. I like a lot will need two people to help complete game. Stuck on one right now! Overall, great game!"

Good Game   04/30/2008
By personnnnn

What's great about it: Experience is good, somewhat realistic, a great challenge
What's not so great: cannot skip over the stories

"This game is great for people who want a challenge and want to have fun. Although there are a few things that i would change, such as the fact that during the story mode, if one were to stop playing, they would have to go through the entire story, which can be a pain. But, stilll the realistic attributes such as using the different tools to fight different things makes it quite realistic. Also the fact that one must turn their hand in different directions makes the game much more realistic. Overall trauma center on the wii is a great game to play, especially on co-op"

Better than Original   04/15/2008
By Demo419 from Edwards AFB, CA

What's great about it: Graphics, controls, Co-Op surgeries, gameplay
What's not so great: none

"The first Trauma Center for Wii was a great game, it offered a unique and refreshing gameplay experience. Every surgery was it's own puzzle, and the rating system gave a reason to replay surgeries to get the best score possible. It had a few shortcomings in that it lacked multiplayer, online capabilities, and voice-overs for the storyline segments (which forced a lot of reading to follow the storyline!).
Trauma Center: New Blood does not reinvent the original game, everything that the first game got right, gameplay, controls, graphics, etc; New Blood also nails without missing a step. What New Blood does is correct all the shortcomings of the original game. It includes a 2 player Co-Op that allows you to work together with a friend during surgeries, this makes for great fun especially once you learn to work really well with your partner. The game manages to handle the extra controller no problem and to date I have not noticed any issues when 2 people are playing. The addition of online rankings gives even more reason to replay surgeries for higher scores, and the added ability to link your account to your Mii character for tracking profile scores on your system is another added bonus for all us competitive types who enjoy beating scores of friends and family. The voice-acting for the story segments can occasionally be cheesy, but overall is believable and makes it possible to still follow the story even if you're feeling too lazy to read all the text.
I only have one minor gripe, the game does not include it's own interface for connecting a second controller. This is something I've seen in a lot of games, they tend to rely on the Wii's own controller connecting interface which unfortunately doesn't always connect on the first few trys and can be a little annoying. Since this is common to a lot of games I won't list it as a con, and once you get that second controller connected everything else works perfectly so it's not a big deal.
Overall New Blood is an outstanding game that has nearly perfected the "surgery puzzle" genre invented by the original Trauma Center on Nintendo DS and refined by Second Opinion on Wii. The Wii controllers and crisp graphics continue to create a fun and immersive experience while the added co-op and online features enhance the gameplay and make it possible to enjoy with a friend."

Amazing Game!   01/19/2008
By patrob09 from Stockbridge, MI

What's great about it: Graphics, surgical terms and vocabulary, co-op mode, good characters, great storyline, good replay factor, challenging
What's not so great: I find the scalpel difficult to use...But my friend is good with it.

"This has GOT to be the perfect game for the Wii.
Upon buying this game, me and my friend quickly got engulfed in the storyline and drama. The missions require quick and logical thinking, and isn't completely easy to beat. The game also is pretty extensive, and takes a decent amount of time to complete.
Co-op mode is amazingly awesome and not nearly as stressful as I'd anticipated.
The whole "Stigma virus" mystery kept us playing, but I'm not going to give anything away.
This game is an absolute MUST HAVE for all Wii owners! (unless you're uninterested in surgical situations)"
