What's great about it: Weapons,Graphics,Co-op,Story,Voice acting What's not so great: Team mates AI,Controls slip sometimes
"This really is not a bad game at all.You can customize your weapons the story is put together and this game was built for co-op play. There are sometimes in the game where you get fustrated with the A.I. and the game will agree with you cause your character will talk to himself. But in a way this game may simply remind you of gears of war just a little bit.The voice acting is pretty funny sometimes.Controls slip in some areas sometimes but it pick up in action. But Army of two is better than fighting alone."

Army of Two05/05/2008

What's great about it: Fun co-op game, lot’s to do What's not so great: Short game
"Army of Two looked a lot better then I feel it turned out. It looked to me like a more modern version of Gears of War. It is better in some cases for co-op, but the storyline is not quite as good. You have the ability to go back to back, which is a lot of fun. There are parachuting parts where one person controls the parachute and the other shoots the enemies. You can buy new weapons and upgrades for each weapon. This is a very fun thing to do in the game. You can even buy new masks as you go through the game. The agro system is pretty neat, if you are firing and your friend is not you start glowing red and all the enemies go after you and ignore your friend. This is good if you want to have someone sneak up behind the enemies to take them out from behind. There are a number of people you have to take out from behind due to their amount of body armor in the front. If someone gets injured bad enough they can feign death so the enemies think they are dead and focus their fire on the other person. This gives some time to heal; also if you actually go down, your buddy can come over and heal you. This does take awhile because you have to administer first aid. The nice thing though is the person you’re healing can shoot and you can drag him into a safer place. The game is kind of short but there is a little replay ability due to the weapon upgrades and the like. I love games you can play co-op, but there is length missing on this game."

Great, Solid Title05/03/2008

What's great about it: Based around Co-Op What's not so great: Based around Co-Op
"This is a great game that hits all the areas of action and adventure with new, unexplored scenarios such as the parachuting level. Great customizable weapons, great co-op moves to defeat the enemy, good agro system, the only major flaw is that if you don't have a friend to play with, or XBOX Live, it loses it's appeal. The whole point of the game is to romp with a friend and when you resort to playing with an AI partner you lose the excitement of conversing with an actual person and executing the kills as a team. Army of Two is an awesome game and I wouldn't dream of not owning it, but if you don't have any friends or XBOX Live buddies that want to play with you, this isn't your game."

Decent Game04/29/2008
By JGCOPSfrom Virginia
What's great about it: Two person gameplay What's not so great: Need to beat the game to get the good weapons
"At first this game was slow and slightly cartoonish but once you earn money and can buy better weapons and upgrade it starts to get fun. The more teamwork you use with your partner the more fun you have as well. I wouldn't pay full price for this game but one play through to get the weapons and another one to have fun makes for a good time."

"It is a great game that has excellent A.I. your partner truly adapts to your playing style. Many choices of guns and can upgrade them as well. Multiplayer is fun as well. Would of liked if the game was longer but still definitly worth the money."

Great concept, short story04/28/2008
By AndreinCT
What's great about it: coop only concept with control of ai partner What's not so great: short story, unappealing online multiplayer
"Played with a friend and had fun but it did not last long at all. The customizable guns were awesome and so was the gameplay. The online is gameplay is ok but two players cant be signed in on xbox live on the same console at the same time and play, but it would be one account and one guest account."

One is The Loneliest Number04/26/2008
By Arbiterfrom Murrells Inlet, SC
What's great about it: Great, contreversal story line, revolutional graphics What's not so great: Limited vehical use
"As far as 3rd person shooter game Army of Two is above average, but the perfect game everybody wants to have. Army of Two's concept is two army rangers who become professional mercenaries for the SSC a private military company. The main characters Tyson Rios an Salem Elliot are sent on top secret missions against terroist in China, Somalia, Afganistan, and of course Iraq. As you complete objectives you earn money... for weapons. All of the weapons you buy can be upgraded from standard issue to top of the line technology. Choose your armor type and pick out a sick battle mask to strike fear into your enemies. As you progress through the levels you can come across bonuses to boost your bank account. Some say 3rd person games require no skill but to beat Army of Two you have to have a solid trigger finger but also know how to use your partner to your full advantage using the control panel. This is where Aggro comes into play Aggro is attention basically if you have all the Aggro you partner is steathy and can do as he pleases and vice versa. This is key to beating heavily armored troops and turrets. Another thing the teamwork interactions, step jump to get to hard to reach places co-op parachute to steer and shoot enemies at once and Amry of Two's signature move BACK TO BACK allows you and your parnter to act like turret that can turn 360 degrees to demolish lARGE GROUPS OF enemies. Everyone talks of how great Gears was but unlike Gears wear all you do is hide behind walls and blind fire Aggro and the team control panel allow open field battles and tactical sniping as well. You can trade weapons with a partner or co-op snipe two guards at once. Also your can order your partner to advance, regroup, hold position, be aggresive/offensive or passive/defensive etc. Now don't get me wrong Gears was a good game but it can't stand up to Army of Two's characters and storyline. Where in Gears it takes like 5 minutes to beat a part of a level The Six broken up levels of Army of Two take a long time and tactical thinking instead of moving from wall to wall. Away from the criticitism great grahics, a huge aresenal of weapons, an interesting story line, realistic characters and co-op staegies like no other game make Army of Two the best 3rd person shooter out there right now. Highly recommended, strange story line twist but I'll let find out about it own your own."

Great Co-op play04/23/2008
By Dawq902from Massachusetts
What's great about it: graphics, co-op, weapon customization What's not so great: to short, story, bad AI
"For the time i played this game i had fun doing it. The co-op play is fun to do with your friends and the ability to customize your weapons, solid gold guns, is a feature i would like to see in more games. Although playing it alone gets boring and after you beat it once or twice you get tired, it was still worth the money. Overall the game was fun while it lasted and i have to say the characters look pretty sweet with those cool masks."

A horrible Gears of War clone.04/16/2008
By THE0500from Scranton, Pa
What's great about it: Co-op and thats it What's not so great: online, campaign, and gameplay
"Well the first thing that i think that is wrong with this game is the title. ARMY OF TWO what, it sounds terrible and what is going in the picture is this a war or is it paintball? But that is not all the online is terrible all it is is two on two sort of off the name but why just two on two? But if you did play this game what does it remind you of?????.... GEARS OF WAR maybe. So what i'm trying to say is just buy Gears of War its alot better."

Army of Two04/13/2008
By TJrAvA
What's great about it: Incredible graphics, gameplay is fun, great co-op play, weapons, and more. What's not so great: AI is a little on the short side. Story.
"If any of you liked Gears of War, which was an excellent game, you will love Army of Two. It has all of those concepts found in Gears of War, except its not as sci-fi-ish. It even comes with more, like weapon upgrades, fun and challenging co-op gameplay, and tough bosses. The storyline could be a bit longer, its short, and the AI -SOMETIMES- can leave you behind. Most of the time it does it's job. Other then that, this game is awsome, and I would recommend it to everyone."

What's great about it: Exciting At First What's not so great: Story is to short and pointless after beating it
"COD4 is way better than this game. This game is very short and the bosses are to easy to defeat in less than 5 seconds(no kidding) It was to much hype for this game and I thought it was going to smash COD4 and Rainbow six Vegas Two(dumb of me). Yeah so just buy COD 4 well worth your money no this"

What's great about it: great graphics etc What's not so great: sometimes confusing
"Well to start off with I won't saythis is the greatest game of all time. COD and rainbow six have that title. what I will say is that the single player is sometimes confusing to get used to controlling both characters. on the co-op mode though is a really good time. if your old enough grab a few beers and a good buddy and it will be a great time. I highly recommend this game to anyone with a friend who like shooter games"

What's great about it: Gun upgrading What's not so great: Short story line
"This is one of those games that you will beat in about a day. Although, after u beat it you feel like it was one of the best games you have played. Graphics are amazing , there was a few parts that i thought was real. I thought the best part of this game is the weapon selection and cuztomization. There is suppressors, cartriges, barrel, and much more to upgrade your gun with. The one and only con in my perspective was that the story mode was only about 6 missions."

Fun Game03/19/2008
By Ready4from Nashua, NH
What's great about it: Coop, customizable weapons, controls, graphics, overkill and back-to-back What's not so great: Short, minor glitches
"Great game overall and a really cool concept. A different spin on the mercenary concept. The best part is playing with a partner. Adds a whole new dimension to the game. The weapons are cool too and the attachments and add-ons make it even better. You can really make every weapon your own. The controls are easy to learn, especially if you've played FPS on the 360. One of the coolest features is the overkill and back to back. Just adds a new, fun dimension to the game. Everybody wants to be a tough guy! Very few cons for this game. It did seem kind of short. I beat it in 2 days and I work full time. There were some minor glitches, but not really significant to detract from the game. Overall this was a real good game and worth getting your hands on."
