SynopsisDelve deep into the all-encompassing world with EverQuest II: Rise of Kunark. This fourth expansion pack features exciting new areas that have recently been unearthed. Tread carefully through this formerly war-torn continent as either your existing character or as a member of a new playable race, the Sarnak. Begin a courageous journey from the new starting city of Timorous Deep in an attempt to uncover the truth of the wars between the reborn Iksar Empire and the Sarnak. Explore this massive region and rediscover artifacts long considered lost to history. It's up to you to piece together the tale by completing hundreds of new quests throughout the rich landscape. From atop your trusty new mount, the Kunarkian Rhinoceros, set off on a new adventure. Both new players and veterans of the series will enjoy a full range of exquisite content. High-level players can now advance to level 80 in their Adventure and Tradeskill classes, as well as their Guilds. Trek across the detailed, danger-filled continent and see familiar areas as well as brand-new lands to discover. New nonplayer characters fill this exciting new world, while new armor sets help protect those who are brave enough to venture through the perilous territory. New and unfamiliar enemies await, adding to the suspense and danger that permeates every aspect of this engrossing saga. Are you strong enough to continue the legend of EverQuest?

What's great about it: Engrossing gameplay, extensive storyline, amazing graphics What's not so great: Can be repetitive, many hours required to get additional levels, not that friendly for people new to this genre
"Everquest 2 is a fun, addictive game that has plenty of plot and storyline for users to enjoy. I have played this series since the first version (Everquest) in 1998, and its truly amazing how this game has impacted the entire genre of games. It does require patience and lots of time in order to play, so its not well suited for a "casual" player. What is a casual player? If you want to play once per week for a couple hours, this game is not for you. Be ready to spend a couple hours per day over 6 months to become an good player, and to become an elite player, some people will play 6 hours per day. I would not recommend this game for kids under the age of 12 due to the addictive game play and open interaction with other online users."

What's great about it: Everything buy the game. What's not so great: None
""This game is absolutely immersive! Even at low levels there is so much to offer you. Harvesting, crafting, raiding, instancing or just plain questing and collecting. At any level and any skill you can solo or group. I have played many MMO's and this has the most to offer all around. The worlds are expansive and detailed as well as beautiful. There are many classes to choose from and many different variations of those characters. This is a must have game!!!""

What's great about it: Great Gameplay What's not so great: Time Consuming
"Everquet 2: Rise of Kunark is the newest expansion to the Everquest 2 series. And while it is an expansion it also includes all the past expansions along with the adventure packs and origional games so its quite a deal. It comes with many new additions to the game including item sets, level cap of eighty, and many new zones and instances. Overall I'd say this is a very solid game for the average MMORPG player and would suggest it to anyone."

Awesome Game!!

What's great about it: Great Graphics, tons of content, huge variety of race/class combos, solo or group oriented. What's not so great: None I could find
"Well, I played EQ2 when it was first released and hit level 50 fairly quick and ran out of things to do. Switched to World of Warcraft. When this expansion came out I really wanted to try EQ2 again, especially since I liked Kunark from EQ1. The game is VERY different now, you can solo easily. (most dungeons/areas have solo or group instances you can pick)Much of the nasty grind was removed, and it's overall more user friendly. The sheer amount of content to explore is staggering!! Trade skills are actually fun AND addictive. Quests seem meaningful and fun to complete. Graphics are beautiful, sound is amazing. PvP servers if you're into that. This expansion brought back the feel of the original EQ1 for me, but with improved interface, graphics, and sound. I'm glad I decided to come back; I won't be playing WoW anymore. And the player community is incredible, mature and helpful people. Give it a shot; you absolutely can't go wrong here. For those that don't know, this contains all expansions and the additional adventure packs + 30 days free play if you don't have an existing account. This game has a free trial, so if you're really on the fence download it, you can't go wrong here."
