"I bought this game about a month ago, and I have to say its really really really fun...you can play for hours and never get bored, is really addictive. Multiplayer is awesome and so is the online mode...maybe if they had more songs available for download I would like the game would be even better"

"Fun game with good song list. The guitar is not as responsive as Guitar Hero's, in my opinion. I think the drums are the best part of the whole game. The drum kit's foot pedal is a little stiff and can get to be a burden sometimes.
Find the cheat codes and play all of the songs, especially if you have a group coming over.
Overall, fun and very addictive."

"This is a great game, however less than a month after purchase, the drum bass pedal broke off. After inspection, the pedal is held together only by a thin piece of plastic. Other reviews show this is a very common problem known by the company, however the company refuses to replace the pedals. BUT you can buy a new pedal with a thicker gauge plastic for 40 bucks!"

"ive had this game for 3 or 4 months and its kool. the only bad part is that if ur used 2 a guitar hero strum bar then this is hard 2 get used 2. since the strum bar is stiff its hard 2 hit fast seqences continuosly. but thats no problem and the drums can take pounding well mine can :] but over all its a good game. i recommend u buy it. oh and there is a long song list. and the online coundnt be better."

"it a fun game but here is the problem you will get jacked the instruments mic guitar drumset
it says for the drums you can pound hard on them you cant i bought mine i had them for about a week i bearly even hit them hard and the yello and red pad snapped inside then the yellow would act up
the mic would cut out but all you got to do is just wiggle the usb plug the guitar no problems just the strum button was loose
but its still fun game i got all my stuff fixed play it on ps3 beat expert on guitar and drums but not the mic lol no singing for me"

"Bought this mostly for family fun to give us something else to do together and it has done that. Lots of content with more available and a good cross section of music. Playing on PS3, a Samsung 61" 1080P TV and a powerful surround system really gets us immersed in the game. I like the easy to expert levels, this lets everyone play together without the noobies messing up the better players too much. It's cool to play online with others from all over the world. Always someone else to play with this way. I play the bass, a real one, so I have to get another guitar to play it in the game. If you have the 40 gig PS3, you'll need a powered USB hub to plug in all the equipment, as this model only has 2 USB ports. With guitar, drums, mike and adding a bass, you'll need 4 ports to use them all at the same time. If you think this game might be fun, you're right, so buy it. It's easy to get started but challenging at the hard and expert levels. When you think you're getting pretty good, challenge some people online and see just how good you are. If you like to cheat, there are some cheat codes you can find online to unlock all the songs if you want to start playing those without beating the game. Buy it and enjoy."

"The first day I got this game I thought it was the coolest thing ever. 3 days later I was back to guitar hero. This game doesn't have the same thrill that guitar hero has. By yourself its no fun at all. The only time its enjoyable is when your having a big party. BUT, its not worth over 100 dollars. DDR isnt as much and its just as fun for a party."

"I recently purchased both Rock Band and Guitar Hero III. Rock Band it enjoyable with more than one person but as a solo game it was a bit boring. It's also a lot easier than Guitar Hero. For example, everyone in my house can play rock band on medium one the first try but can't make it through guitar hero on easy on the first try. All and all the game is fun but if you need something more challenging or if you don't have atleast one other person to play it with, then it's probably not the game for you."

"I don't understand why people buy Guitar Hero. For slightly more you can get drums and a mic, plus be able to to play with a group. If you want to play with even just one more person on GH, you'll pay the same price. Grahpics for Rock Band are far better than Guitar Hero. Downloadable Content (DLC) is much better, less expensive, and more frequent than Guitar Hero. The Guitar for Rock Band is more realistic and easier to use. GH's is more like a toy. Now that you can buy drums / guitar / mic separatley Rock Band is the way to go."

"Rockband is amazing!!! I got this game for x-mas and haven't stopped playing yet. The Playstation store lets you buy new songs whenever you want so you don't get sick of the playlist. Whenever an instrument gets old you can just go play another one. Has a lot of classic rock in it, but no problem here!! A must but. Sure its pricey but it's worth it."
