What's great about it: Easy to use and to set up
What's not so great: Headphone Jack
"Easy set up the only good thing. The reason it got a 2 not 1 rating.
The headphone jack is so loose that no headphones theirs or mine will stay in the player. The slightest movement results in not being able to hear the music, ie shorting out. Have heard of this before, will be returning it to the store. Probably got a defective one. Gonna get a Sony this time.
Don't waste your time buy a Sony instead."

What's not so great: Head phone jack lose
"Never had a MP3 player before. Not a bad product for the money. But the head phone jack does not lock in place, but it is lose inorder to work. So the sound is not constant."

What's great about it: small and compact, FM radio is great
"I have had this for five days now and used it for running three times. This is a small, portable, low cost solution for me. The FM radio option is great and gets good coverage while I am running. The 2GB of space is a bonus which I will rarely use since I listen to a specific morning show when I run. During commercials I can quickly switch to music playback with a few button clicks."

What's great about it: Small; great LCD display; crisp sound; many features for such a low price
What's not so great: Only one playlist allowed
"Last year, I bought my first Sansa Clip. I was thinking of buying an iPOD but didn't want to pay the high price. The salesperson recommended the Sansa Clip and I fell in love with it from the get go. The display is nice and bright, the playback is crisp, and for such a low price, you get so many features: music, voice recordings, FM radio. It's wonderful. I recorded a meditation/relaxation voice recording in a parking lot with many cars passing by and you wouldn't know it from the playback...no background noise at all. Even more impressive, you just select "record" and do not even need an external microphone. About 5 months after buying the Clip, the LCD display failed. I went to SanDisk on-line, explained my plight, and they sent me a new Clip within a few days time. The customer service was prompt, courteous, and super professional. We "emailed" a few times about my situation, and Sansa literally responded to each email within a few hours time. I was/am very impressed. Perhaps when this Clip eventually fails, I will upgrade to one with more memory and a bigger display. The long and short of it is that I highly recommend the SanDisk products. If you are unsure whether or not an MP3 player is for you, before investing in something super expensive, try the Clip. You will not be disappointed."

"Originally bought this product for my sons' as their first MP3. I liked it so much, I use one of their's alot! Works with Windows media player very well to add or delete songs, entire CD's or books on cd. Love the FM radio feature also. Very good value for the price. I have had good experience dealing with Sandisk customer service through email communication on a different model MP3 player that I had that stopped working. They emailed a download to me that worked to reboot my MP3 player that would not even turn on."

"I dont know why there is so many bad reviews. They may go bad but my last one went bad after 2 1/2 years. My newest one has stopped working but worked after the battery went dead all I needed todo was charge it. The bad is that it isnt much memory for me. I am planning on buying another one for other genres. This is a great product. I totally recommend this item."

What's great about it: Almost as small as the iPod shuffle but with a nice digital screen that you can scroll. Voice and AM/FM Radio too

"I was contemplating buying a iPod shuffle because I love the clip feature it has. However, I found it really annoying that there was no screen to scroll through songs. If you've been looking for that perfect workout/running mp3 player, then this is it! It has a nice screen that lights up if it's dark and it has just enough buttons for real easy use. Charging time is great, I used it at least 10 hours with moderate volume and the battery was still good. The actual clip is strong and will not fall off when running if attached to your shorts or a shirt. It also has a great "voice" feature that lets you record your voice. I tried it and played it back and sounds perfectly clear. Maybe great for lectures and stuff too. Lastly, it has AM/FM feature and you can preset stations. The headphones are decent and the sound output is great. I recommend it and for the price and features, it has my vote."

"I am older so it is nice and easy for me to opporate and it is small enough to bring with me anywhere the only thing is it has a short battery life even if your not using it over all though it is great for mp3 beginners and young children or older technilogically challanged people good if your not sure you would have a use for one as it is inexspensive if you decide that you dont have a real need for one"

"It works well for the money it cost. The songs are sometimes hard to see, andd difficult to delete. It locks up often, and the sansa customer service is awful. The directions are trash!"

"I use it a Lot, it has great portability, The onlything was, after 6 weeks, when i droped the mp3, it still worked with a few small scratches but the headphones broke apart, it has a bunch of memory for songs, and a cool screen"

What's great about it: It's small and not bulky. Great to use when running and working out at the gym.
What's not so great: I had this mp3 player for several weeks and it's going strong with no problems so far.

What's great about it: SO FAR NOTHING
What's not so great: SO FAR I'M ON MY THIRD ONE OF THESE BECAUSE THEY JUST STOP PLAYING
"THIS THING IS NOT WORTH ANYTHING!!! I got one thinking this is great but then it just stopped working for no reason and nothing you did made it work. So I took it back and they replaced it then the second one did the exact same thing only took less time. Now this third one it just keeps saying your subscription has run out and you can't do anything to stop it. I've extended my subscription even bought songs and no matter what I do it will not play anything so I'm paying money for a subscription on something that don't work. I thought it was just me but then I saw another woman at work with one and guess what she's having the same problems with this device they only work for so long and then they just lock up and you can't play a thing and you can't even reset the defulat setting to reload your songs it just locks up and nothing you can do about it. SO PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS HUNK OF JUNK SPEND IT ON SOMETHING THAT WON'T GIVE YOU A BUNCH OF HASSLES LIKE THIS LITTLE SO CALLED MP3!!!!!!!!!"

"This mp3 player makes my Zune look bad when it comes to sound quality , i listened with the EX Sony headphones and then with Sennheiser´s PXC300 (noise cancellation on) and my jaw dropped to the floor , i just cannot believe the awsome sound quality that this tiny player can produce , i highly recommend everyone looking for a cheap mp3 player to consider this one , you will not be dissapointed .
This player gets a 9.5 in my book"

What's great about it: Easy enough for a non-techie mom to use without the aid of my kids.
What's not so great: Lasted two weeks
"I loved the features and ease of use. Price was right! I was warned in these reviews that this Sansa works great for the first year. With this in mind, I purchasd the 2 year warranty. I do believe that was a wise decision because after only two weeks my player is dead for no apparent reason. Yes, I did recharge the battery and even asked my teenagers to verify my verdict."

What's great about it: Inexpensive...easy to use!!--FM digital Radio is cool option
What's not so great: have not found any yet---for the price this unit is the best!!
"I bought this and the armband to go with it for use when I workout and I absolutely love it!! It was very simple to load the songs and get started--the battery life is pretty good --the screen is easy to read...for an inexpensive unit--this thing really rocks!!! I bought my mom an IPOD NANO and that cost me 4 times as much money as this unit and this one blows it out of the water--no comparison---I would not pay for an overpriced IPOD when they make these so much cheaper--I have not found any CONS with this product as of yet and I have had it now for about a month and workout just about everyday with it.....ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!!!"

What's great about it: I love the color and how easy it is to sync music on this little MP3 Player!
What's not so great: Mine just went black and when I tried to charge it - nothing happened - I'm gonna see if they can fix it for me!
"I baught myself this little MP3 player mostly because of the great price and because they had one in my favorite color (blue). I love the fact that I can put music on it so easily and if there's a song on it I don't want anymore I can delete it just as easily. It's small, so it's easy to take with you whereever you go. The volume is great on this little thing - better than most MP3 players. The only thing that's bugging me is that the screen just went blank and the whole thing just turned off - the battery life showed only a fraction of the battery used so I can't figure out why this happened. I tried charging it but it just won't do a thing so since I still have the receipt and it hasn't been that long since I baught it I'm gonna take it back and see if I can either get a new one or get this one repaired. I still recommend this little thing to all the college students at Plattsburgh State where I work just because of how much music it can hold and because of how small and handy it is, not to mention the great price!"

What's great about it: What i like about my sansa mp3 is that its really light weight and small.
What's not so great: The battery life goes fast in a short amount of time.
"I got my mp3 for christmas of 08 that holds up to 1-2 thousand songs? and i love it so far, I havent had any problems with it yet, the whole using a mp3 thing is new to me but i got the hang of it now and its seems to be really cool, one time i tryed to delete one song off of my mp3 and what happens?????? ALL OF MY SONGS GOT DELETED!!!!!!! I was in total shock! i was like "OMG! What just happened?!" so what did i have to do???? lol drag all of my songs back onto mp3 all over again, that was time consuming! so now im scared to delete even 1 song that i dont want on my mp3 anymore thinking that i will loose all of my songs again, thats the only problem that i have had so far but other than that everything is fine and i enjoy listening to my variety of songs every chance that i get!"
