What's great about it: very quiet, lots of space, keeps its temperature
What's not so great: nothing yet
I had the freezer two weeks now and its great. Its nice and compact and it fits in small area in my garage. It is so quiet I forget its there. All in all its a good freezer for the price you won't be disappointed plus the delivery guys from BB were great they set it up for me. Hope this helps!

What's great about it: It has a GE brand, which may not be a plus after this experience.
What's not so great: Simply doesn't work at all.
Most disappointing. I had purchased an Igloo 5 cu ft first. Since it was my first chest freezer ever, and I was too trusting, neglected to check whether it is keeping everything frozen, and lost a bunch of food - ice cream, and meat. When I took it back to the store for exchange, I thought I would pay more and get a "name brand", the guy at the Appliance Dept acknowledged that the Igloo does have problems, and said this GE model should work fine.
I was not so trusting this time, and tried to make sure it was cold before I put food into it. (I put a container with water in it so I could see whether the water would turn into ice.) After 2 whole days, the water never froze. I was so disgusted with it that I have sworn myself off any chest freezer in the future.

What's great about it: Size, maintenance is simple
This purchase was perfect for my family. The setup was simple it only needs pluged in and wait until the temp drops then fill it. It is a very quite unit. I am glad there is a light on it that indicates it is on or I wouldn't know it.

What's great about it: Love external power light.
What's not so great: which had temp readout
Works great at keeping everything frozen. There was a lightning storm that tripped the garage breaker and luckily I saw the green light was off and this saved the big freezer that was packed full of food. This made me very happy.

What's great about it: everything
we live in an apartment, but this deep freezer does not take up space like we thought. It is worth every penny. I recommend this product.

It was the perfect item for our small family needs. It is our first freezer and we are still adjusting to having extra frozen foods/treats on hand rather than having to run out to the store.

It Took Four Weeks to get it, Than when it got here it didn't Work. I have to wait another Two Weeks for a Good Replacement. But, from what I See it is Great if it worked. It will Hold Everything I need and It will do the Job.

I have had this freezer for about three months now and it has been a good investment. It has ample space and is very quiet. The baskets that are included are nice, and there is enough room to add two milk crate size containers to keep things organized and easy to access. So far, it has been a good addition to my meal planning because I can prepare food in quantity, store them neatly, which reduces my monthly grocery bill. Delivery was quick and they were very courteous and helpful.

I bought this freezer about 2 months ago and I am pleased with it. I am using it for additional freezer storage and kept in my garage. So far no problems and performance is good. I ordered this on line with BestBuy and delivery was prompt and no problems of any kind. worth the price.

We needed an extra freezer as overspill in the garage, and this seemed like a cost-effective one with good review. Having set it up it works very fine. Pretty quiet. Internal layout is good, and door works well. Pretty basic, but does the job nicely. Very good value.

What's great about it: So energy efficient
What's not so great: hmm, it doesn't come in designer colors
I filled it with all the stuff from my 16 ft upright freezer PLUS all the food from my last shopping trip and it all fits in this tiny 7 cu. ft chest freezer. I have been waiting for something like this. I was able to buy sooooo many food items at a great sale price and they all easily fit. With all the items I bought on sale I managed to save at least $10, thanks to this little guy. And it only takes about $2.50 of electricity per month. The savings are really nice. Not only that, but I put the temperature setting on 4 (7 is the coldest) and a freezer thermometer registerd a temperatue of -12 degrees. Food will last a long time at this cold. This thing is worth every penny I spent.
