What's great about it: cost
What's not so great: everythign about this washer is a con other than price
We bought this thinking GE ok there's a good brand and it's cheap. Boy cheap is right. This washer doesn't even clean the dishes if we "wash" by hand before running. At first I tought I did something wrong so I re-ran washer. still dishes came out dirty. I talked to every repair guy I can find. it's not a defect it just is a poor washer. I now wash my dishes by hand and I am saving up for a better washer. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! I will never buy a GE dish washer again! I'm sticking to Whirlpool.

What's great about it: low cost
You get what you pay for. This is a low cost machine. It cleans our dishes adequately, but we rinse before we load and run it fairly soon so the food isn't dried or caked onto the dishes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: none
What's not so great: takes too long, dishes not clean
Our apartment complex bought this washer for us, sounds nice but our dishes are not clean, I end up washing the whole load again by hand. It takes about an hour to run through its cycle...talk about wasting water. Please spend a few more dollars and get yourself a quality dishwasher, I wouldn't pay for than $5.oo for this if I had to buy it myself.

What's not so great: What can I say?
This DW is the biggest hunk of garbage I have ever used. I sometimes have to run a load 2-3 times before the dishes come clean and then sometimes I just give up and take them out and wash by hand. It is so archaic - what's up with the dial????
My Boxer could probably hand wash the dishes better than this one does.
Do yourself a favor.....Don't cheap out....throw in an extra $50 and get a Maytag. SO worth it.
I'm going to buy a new DW this weekend....
