What's great about it: AM FM Radio, Dual Alarm Clock, W/ipod dock
What's not so great: Volume

"It's alright if all your going to use it for is an alarm clock and don't really care for Rocking out. The volume doesn't go that high.
I Bought it to use in the Bathroom when taking a shower and it doesn't go loud enough to hear it over the shower.
Other wise its allright."

What's great about it: Setup, Sound quality, nice price, battery back up in case of power outage.
What's not so great: Twenty million buttons for programming it, Not friendly to other MP3 players.

"My long-time radio alarm clock had begun to develop Alzheimer's, occasionally waking me up on time, occasionally doing it 45 minutes after I set the alarm, so it was time to track something new down.
Where we live doesn't get radio too clearly, so I decided this time to try for a clock that would play MP3s. This is what I came to decide on based on the reviews. The price is great considering the sound that you'll be getting and the various functions the clock can perform. Having two separate alarms to go off is a life-saver if you tend to miss the first one.
However...
In a market where items are tilted in the iPod's favor, I had grown used to having to modify devices to work with my Creative Zen player, so I went ahead and purchased it. It does indeed work with it, but only as a speaker to play it, and only then after the addition of a $5 line-in cable which was not included. (This is, of course, my fault for not reading more clearly, but I thought I had seen that in the contents).
After messing with the clock for an hour it became obvious the only way for it to work with my Zen would be to leave the Zen playing overnight while plugged in to the power outlet so that when the alarm kicked on it would pick up on the already playing music. I didn't want to put that kind of wear and tear on it, so it was promptly disconnected.
After locating an ancient iPod Nano we had around the house and attaching it, everything was much easier. My only complaint is that it did not go to the pre-created "alarm clock" playlist that I was careful to set it on before going to bed. Instead it began playing from the top of the library, waking me with a techno song instead of nature sounds. I will continue to mess with it, as it seems there has to be a setting to get that to work, but bear that in mind.
Now that I'm done trying to mod my clock, I find it to be very easy to use. The light is bright, but can be adjusted to slightly dimmer at night. I find the display a bit hard to read late at night, but this was not the main reason I purchased it.
Sound quality was great, the alarm actually works when it's supposed to, and it's compact for my small bedside table. Living in a place where the power goes out without warning, the backup battery is a lifesaver and will be one less thing I have to reset when it happens again. And in spite of the whole Zen debacle, I'll be keeping this item and getting it to work with the twitchy iPod that we have, probably just removing the techno to make it easier on the ears. I would definitely recommend this for someone who's primary MP3 player comes from Apple."

"I had trouble waking up with just my cell phone alarm, so I decided to purchase an alarm clock to make sure I woke up on time. I bought this because it was inexpensive and cute (my favorite colors are blue and pink). It was fairly easy to set up, although the power cord is very easily knocked out of the back of the unit, so I've had to reset it a few time. The alarm is plenty loud on buzz, which is the only way I can wake up. I didn't even try using the iPod feature until a few days ago, and I was quite surprised with the clarity of it. I used to work with MP3 players, so I know a good dock when I hear it, and while this is no Bose system, it's comparable to some units that run about $100. The only thing I don't really like about it is the light. It's a pale blue which doesn't contrast the black numbers very well, so it's sometimes difficult to read, even on the brightest setting.

My friend's parents had bought her an iPod for her birthday, and when they asked me about docking stations, I told them about this one. They have already bought it for her for Christmas."

"I bought this with the intention of replacing the alarm clock I have had for 17 years and to have an Ipod charger/player as well. I wanted to invest in something specifically for docking/playing tunes from my Ipod but cannot currently afford the player I would like. The Ipod feature of this alarm clock works well, I don't really even think of it as an alarm clock because the sound is so crisp and loud. It is also very easy to use, I still haven't busted out the instructions.
I did have trouble switching out the colored panels, not even sure how I got the original pink off but i did. Like some others have said, the LCD light is very bright but I didn't think so at first. I realized it later at about 4am when it woke me up. However, the good thing about the light is that you can dim it (even dimmed it is bright) or turn it off and the clock/radio/Ipod will continue functioning.
I have realized that I can't yet seem to let go of my old alarm clock so I will just be using this for my Ipod in another room, but I am glad I got it and would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to spend too much and can be flexible with the light or is not bothered by light while sleeping."

What's not so great: Not the best LOOKING thing but it's just fine.

"This thing popped out of the box and practically set itself up. I changed the color of the sides in a hot minute to blue to match the room. Didn't really need the alarm clock but it's there and I like the clock, didn't have one in this room

SET the clock - a breeze, popped in the iPod and really nice sound for such an inexpensive unit. I don't need a high quality thing here, don't need surround sound, just something to play my iPod on in the room. And a neat feature is the treble and bass level adjustment.

Super deal, get one."

"I actually took this back to India.
1. It comes with a 120-240v adapter. So, thatz pretty cool for international travel. I directly plugged it in and it works like a charm.
2. Comes with battery and store the clock during power outage (very handy in asian countries where power outages are very common)
3. Sound quality is awesome. I am sitting in a 14' x 30' room and whole room is surrounded.
Only thing I would wish is the remote control ..but not a big deal. Most of the time, I use playlist with shuffle enabled. So, no big deal."

"The main problem with this is that the display looks like a traffic light and lights up the whole room. I could sleep in the same room only if I can't see it from my bed - not good for an alarm clock. It kept me awake until I unplugged it. A lesser, but annoying problem, is that you're supposed to be able to change the color of the shell - it's pepto-bismol pink (clashes horribly with the green display and probably everything else you own) - but no, the pink shell won't come off. Oh, and the company doesn't answer their troubleshooting e-mails. At least, I'm still waiting 10 days later. I'm taking this back to the store."

"Got one of these today after reading the reviews and seeing the price. I don't have anything bad to say! Sound is clear and crisp (on low volume, it could be heard across the room), I love the adjustable bass/treble, and the clock is dim enough that it won't light up the whole room. I really wish that it had a remote, but other than that, I'm extremely happy!"

Great Product for the price 08/14/2008

"I bought this unit for my office, as the radio streams are blocked by my employer. It is small in size and doesn't take up alot of desk space. The sound quality is great even at a lower volume. A great buy, and if it gets stolen I won't be out a lot of money, some models are over 100, not worth the risk. I would recomend this unit to anyone who is looking for an office space radio/ipod dock."

What's great about it: Small, compact with color coordination panels to match your iPod
What's not so great: Not any

"This clock radio take little space on my desktop at work and is perfect not only for the time but for charging and playing my iPod Nano. Provides great sound in my "personal space" and has a sharp look with panels that can be changed to coordinate with the color of your iPod. Also, has AM/FM radio but the iPod docking makes it a super product for the price. I bought this for my desk at work but think I will purchase another to replace my standard clock radio at my bedside."
