What's great about it: huge hard drive

perfect laptop for my needs. Plenty of hard drive space for my music & photos. I have not touched my desktop since I bought this computer 2 months ago. Vista is fine if you know what you're doing, no complaints there. For the money, I dont think you could do better. I actually talked my parents into buying one, after showing them mine. They love it as well.

What's great about it: everything you need in a computer.

What's not so great: none with my computer

i would recommend this computer for anybody, including college students. also this computer has everything you could possibly need on a day by day bases.

What's great about it: Has what I need

What's not so great: Heavy, not enough memory

This has been a good laptop all the way around for me. Now when I started adding all my music and photos, it seems to filled up the memory too quickly. Problem with that is this annoying pop up that keeps telling me to clean up my memory, which I have, yet it keeps coming up all day long. I obviously need a laptop that is not only lighter, but much more memory. In general, this is a good laptop, for the price.

What's great about it: Price, Size and Weight.

What's not so great: Runs Very Hot

I Have only one complaint about this little machine. It runs very hot. Fan seems to push a lot of hot air out, but the laptop itself gets very hot to the touch on the bottom. It is a great value for the money.

What's great about it: Almost Everything

What's not so great: no web-cam, internal dial-up modem

I have had this laptop for about 2 years and I love it. I use it everyday with no problems except the dial-up modem doesn't work all that great. I would recommend this laptop to anyone. It was a great buy.

What's great about it: Everything

I had a Toshiba before my Gateway... Everything is better on my Gateway than my Toshiba. The battery is great. Even though Gateway is not the biggest or best brand any more, I am sold on it.

I love my new laptop it is perfect. The size is wonderful I wanted a small laptop and so thats why I choose this one. The graphics are great, and I would definately recommend to a friend!! Love it Love it Love it!!! A must buy!

What's great about it: Fast, reliable, Large screen

I purchased this laptop in the winter and couldn’t be more happy it runs fast and came with almost everything I need the only problem is vista I like vista but I don’t like how they separate everything into categories as you need to buy office separately and the fact it takes up 45GB of hard drive to have it on my computer. But this laptop is awesome it runs fast and the screen is awesome I use it mostly for design and movies and music and could not be more pleased I recently bought and exterior hard drive though because I was running out of memory but that is because I have a lot of stuff but you get roughly 168gb with this laptop which is not bad but for those of us with a lot going on it takes a little more memory all in all this lap top is a great buy I got mine for 450$$ on sale in store cant beat that.

I would recommend this to a friend!

Problems with Combo Drive

What's great about it: Sleek and easy to use

What's not so great: Had to have the combo drive replaced twice

Really a nice laptop for the price. Easy to connect to internet. Big, bright screen. I personally had problems with the combo drive and had to have it replaced twice, other than that I was happy with my purchase.

What's great about it: has never had any problesm, memory sufficient and even with vista which has so many reported probs I have had none

What's not so great: none that I can think of

This has been a great laptop. Very reliable and enough memory and power for everything I do including some large access databases.

What's great about it: large hard drive dvd burner w/ labelflash technology!!

What's not so great: None that I can tell

I purchased this laptop a couple months ago..It has been a great laptop for it's price. It has Windows Vista Premium and that is great because I do a lot of media stuff with my Laptop.. The Dvd burner has worked great and fast with burning..As well as it has 4 usb ports to handle all of my peripherals. This has been the second laptop I've bought. I would definitely buy this one again!!

What's great about it: I can do everything with this computer

What's not so great: A slightly warm power charger, nothing bad.

I work in a recording studio and i've recorded and edited music and vocals with this computer. I also DJ with it and have had no problems. I also hook up my sony video cam to it with the firewire and edit movies with it. It has made my life and work so much easier. The charger gets alittle warm but nothing to surious. But overall an amazing laptop.

What's great about it: Wireless Buit-in; Clear, Bright Screen; Alot of USB connections

What's not so great: Plastic like cover

I bought this laptop in February and it has been great! I use it for web surfing, online college classes and downloading music. The convience of the built in wireless is just great. I can surf the internet very quickly and just love the amount of perks that I got and a reasonable price. I did not like the cover because it looked cheap and plasticl ike but hey I bought a Skin It(Best Buy) and now it is really fashionable! I would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting to do online classes, web surfing or just about anything else! Great Laptop!

I love this laptop. I had never owned a Gateway so I was a little skeptical but it's great! It's fast. The screen is bright. The price was excellent. Connecting to my internet service as well as wirelessly to my printer was a breeze. I would definitely recommend this to someone who wants a great laptop without spending a lot of money.

i bought this a week ago sat........i love every bit of it. i love how fast it is, and how stable. dont like ow the cd drive is on my left...but whatever. this really good for games internet and so much more. i bought it for 549.99 and with everything else i had to get, it was almost 1,000 bucks. bt its worth every penny!
so go out and buy it. you'll love it
