What's great about it: Superb picture quality, lightweight yet steady video!
What's not so great: None that I can see ...maybe just have to learn how to go thru the menus.

Great Buy 05/03/2008

What's great about it: Easy to use, easy to transfer to computer, easy to use video features such as black and white mode
What's not so great: have not noticed any after 8 months with this camera

"This is a great camera it has all the features you would ever want in a camera. It has enough space to record entire sports games it just super if you are still not sure you want this camera buy it now and if you some how don't like than return it( i doubt you will). You can always save buying opening a best buy credit card. Don't forget that case to protect it and service plan just to be safe."

"We recently purchased JVC Camcoder is best for its value plus its has some good features that I haven't seen in other camcoders.

I personally recommed to go for JVC Camcoder
GZMG330RUS also it comes in different colors to choose from; which is great.

Its battery life is very good and its best for outdoor shootings especially when you go to beach or driving, video quality is outstanding for its price and durability.

"This is one of the best camera!!!!!! The small size and has a good resolutions and i like the red color, its really easy to use it, and transfer files as pics and videos to the computer or just use the direct burn dvd option or direct back up option!! I LOVE IT!!"

Great Purchase 04/27/2008

What's great about it: Great quality camcorder, pictures are clear and vivid.
What's not so great: None

"Camera is awesome. Best one I ever had. I wanted to buy something cheaper but this was definelty worth the money. Pictures come out crisp, clear, and vivid. Stores many hours so you aren't always buying tapes. Also takes and micro SD card for pictures. Battery life good and color screen is excellent. Touch panel on side is really nice and works great. You wont regret this purchase."

Great Little Camcorder 03/13/2008

"This is by far the best camcorder I have ever owned. It is extremely small and fits comfortably in your hand. I was able to use it straight of the box without reading the manual. Transferring the video form the camcorder to PC could not be easier. Burning the video to a DVD was a breeze and the footage looks great. Once the video is on your PC, you can edit the video using the editing program provided, upload it on YouTube or MySpace, or even email it to a friend. The old days of having tons and tons of videotapes gather dust will be gone forever. I did buy an external hard drive for my PC. Video tends to take up a lot of space on your hard drive. So if you are going to archive the video on you PC, you would want to invest in an external hard drive. They aren’t that expensive and it will keep the memory on your PC free and prevent it from slowing down from lack of available space. I would definitely recommend this camcorder to anyone who is interested in getting a good one at a decent price."

Excellent HDD CAMCORDER 03/09/2008

What's great about it: EASY to use!
What's not so great: Would like a docking station included with price!

"I was reluctant to purchase this camcorder, only because there haven't been to many reviews given on it yet because of how new it is. I like to see reviews /ratings be above the "4" mark. But I took a chance based mainly on what I seen on the HSN show.
I am glad I did. I agree with those that said it is very EASY to operate right out of the box. Even with not reviewing the manuel before recording. It is easy to transfer your video to PC and it is very easy to view on your TV.
The picture Quality is very nice when viewing on TV. The quality on my PC was excellent when I didn't have my PC in fullscreen mode to view the video I took, and in fullscreen it was somewhat grainy. My settings were at FINE in recording. With it being such a small and compact camcorder it is easy to move fast while recording. Need to be slower in moving it while recording. I have not tested it yet in burning video to DVD.
I will add more in the near future. My main recording will be family, vacations, and occasionally I may offer to record wedding days along with my photography of thier special day. All in all, this is avery nice camcorder.
I Like how lite it is and small in my hand. Compact so you will find that you may take it with you more than you would with a somewhat bigger camcorder. I like the fact it has no TAPES to deal with. I will look forward to reading others reviews and see if they are as happy with the JVC HDD camcorder as I have come to realize!"
