What's great about it: RMS rating and Hi/lo bybass
What's not so great: Not good for Subs
"This is a fantastic amp for my Boston Acustics. Two 6.5", two 1.5", two 6x9', two 1".
Easily adjusted with the Hi pass filter to separate the mids and tweets. I am running at half power. Extremely crisp sound.
I wouldn't use this amp for a sub or a pair of subs because of the low RMS ratings. Definitely a great buy and quality for the price."

What's great about it: 1000 watts, easy to set up
What's not so great: overheats and turns off when you tune setting up high
"well it was an easy setup and I hooked it up to 2 12inch kenwoods and it sounded pretty good...but I set the nobs all the way up and then it overheated and shut off for about a minute...then it would come back on and it would repeat the same thing over and over again...So I had to readjust the settings and turn them down to about 3/4 the power and it stayed on for long enough for me to have confidence in them...but we'll see if they shut off anymore...then I'll have to readjust the amp again."

What's great about it: 1000 watts
What's not so great: gets too hot too quick and shuts off
"I had this hooked up to 2 10's paired to 2 ohms, it got loud and sounded good for about 1 minute and then it shuts off. If you plan on using this amp for a 2ohms sub I caution you. I now have it hooked up to a 4 ohm sub and it is ok. at 4 ohm's im not getting the power i was hoping but at least it doesnt shut off on me so quick."

What's great about it: Crisp sound
What's not so great: None
"Best sounding amp I've ever owned. I had an extreme amp previously that i could hear alot of engine noise when hooked up to my subs and alot of other background noise. This amp has a clean, crisp sound that produces a nice deep boom. BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!"

What's great about it: sounds great and very tunable
What's not so great: gets a little hot but thats a given...
"i originally had an 8103d amplifier which went bad so i went to buy another one and this was the newer model. all in all i am very happy with this amplifiers performance. i mean you can only get so much out of 300w rms at 4 ohms impedance. but it does sound pretty good both at lower levels around 50 hz all the way up into the triple digits. i have this hooked up to two Rockford fosgate P1s412s i also bought at best buy. in a ported box that i also got from best buy its a fierce audio SP212.1. i just feel sorry for the guy who's car alarm i set off every day when i leave school because this amp is so loud when coupled to the right subs. i still don't really like the terminal design on all kenwood amps because its a little spark happy if you know what i mean but that doesn't detract from the performance."

Powerful Amp A+

"I have this amp paired with an Alpine R12 (4 ohm), and it is amazing. With the gain over 3/4, it is TOO POWERFUL for any kind of conversation in my 08 Civic. I also bought a 1 Farad capacitor, because my headlights were dimming. This amp has not cut out once, even in near 100 degree heat and bumpin'. I recommend this amp because of it's flawless performance, light price, active cooling, and heavy hitting power. I am very impressed with this amp."

What's great about it: nice design, low power draw
