I have this 4 channel amp tuning to 4 type-s speakers and they work and Sound quality is near perfect. the sound quality coming from this amp is definatly good. My only complaint is the amp does get a little hot for normal usauge. Overall though this is an amp wearth buying and getting good spears.

What's great about it: Very easy to set up yourself.
I wanted an amp to go with my 4/ 6x9 3way alpine speakers. So i went to Best Buy again and an employee showed me this amp. I told him i was not sure, then he suggested for me to read the online reviews. Ok, i said i will go home and check it out. Then he said, look it up here on our web site. So, i read and my curiosity was extremely satisfied. I BOUGHT IT!!! My 6x9 S-series speakers sounded 200% better, clear, and no distortion. I thought i got gave my speakers a shot of steriods. I was afraid i spent my money unwisely, wrong, i am extremely happy i spent it on my MRP F300 AMP. Thanks Best Buy.

What's great about it: Price and performance
What's not so great: Nothing so far.
Just got this amp installed in my 2010 Honda Insight with navigation. I upgraded the factory speakers to Sound Ordnance and this little black box just made them come alive. I got strong and clear sound that was never there with my factory setup. The amp runs cool to the touch even at sustained high volumes. My only concern is not with the amp but with my vehicle as the charging system and car battery are pretty small compared to a normal vehicle. The guys at Geek Squad did an outstanding job installing it and making it all sound great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Man, I had a stereo amp (won't say the name brand because I don't want to talk bad about it) going to my type S 6x9's from Alpine and it (the amp) sounded alright but not good enough. So I decided to purchase this 4 channel amp from Alpine so my 6x9's could kick and sound better. The amp that I replaced was rated at 100x2 and this amp from Alpine is rated at 50x4. I'm only using 2 channels (50x2) to the 6x9's and the amp isn't even bridged. This amp is killin' the amp that I replaced.
Long story short, when the installer finished the install, I couldn't believe how "clear" this amp made my 6x9's sound. I can hear all the instruments in clear detail, it's crazy. Makes me want to purchase more products from Best Buy/Alpine.
Oh yeah, and the guy that did my install did a great job. I already had subwoofers in a custom made sealed boxed installed professionally from a car audio shop. The installer at Best Buy (I think his name was Fernando at the Mountain View store in Ca) did an excellent job (better than the car audio place). He installed the 4 channel amp and then gave me some tips on how to properly seal my box up and and now my music sounds better than ever. When I left Best Buy I was setting off car alarms.
Very happy with Alpine products and Best Buy's professional service.
When it's time to upgrade for more bump, I'll be back!

I bought this amp in combination with some Pioneer 4x6's and Kenwood 6 1/2's and the sound quality is great. I couldn't believe the sound difference it made from before when I had just my factory speakers in. It is a little pricey but I definitely think it is worth it. I have a 2007 silverado single and they were able to install it under my driver seat for me with no wires showing. Installing this amp and my speakers took them about 5 hours to do but overall it turned out great, very good product.

What's not so great: mine gets a lil warm.
this amp is great, my speakers are 50 rms so it works perfect, my only problem with it is it gets real warm and i dont know y, i have both the gains turned to 1/4 and frequency around 170 and its on HP. so im not pushin it hard it just gets hot for no reason. other than that it plays real clear. has good power, and looks solid. it's smaller than other amps ive had and has more power. it doesnt wiegh on my battery

What's great about it: very good clarity, able to hear lows, mids, and highs
What's not so great: nothing better than most other components iv had
well i just had bought this amp about a week ago to go along with my pioneer ub-5100 head unit,6x9 infinity references 3 way speakers, 6 1/2 infinity references. i had also bought the class d mono alpine amp that was 500 watt rms. i'm running a 10" alpine type R off the mono block. i was running a pioneer four channel amp before this one and i have to say even tho the pioneer had more wattage the alpine beats it in clarity and powerfulness. even when you turn it loud you still hear the real fine sounds you wouldn't out of the pioneer. as far as connecting it i believe a person that's doing it for the first time will have no problem. the system i have i will recommend to anybody that's looking for good clarity with good bass also.

I like this amp very much from Alpine. The previous system I had in my car was all Alpine and I don't see any other direction to go. With the right set up, this amp hits hard and clean.

I have purchased two of these amps - one for my wife's C-Class Benz and one for my Land Rover Discovery II. The Benz drives two rear speakers and a massive sub - it will rattle the garage if the bass is all the way up. The Land Rover's amp drives four speakers and tweeters. Sweet clear sound with good power. I listen to everything - classical, country, rock, R&B - and I have yet to be disappointed by these amps. If you are a grown up with a penchant for good sound, these amps provide more than enough power for anyone's systems. In fact, anything more powerful would be overkilll, in my opinion.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After reading other peoples review on this product, I went ahead and bought one and got it installed in my 2000 Toyota Tac. Pre/runner @ BB.
I got 4 Polk/speakers 6x9 on the truck installed by CCity. Head was oem/factory nothing special. I listen to FM alot.
I was expecting cleaner sounds when I got the amp and from reading the review on this site, it should work.
After BBuy installed the amp. It sounded loud but the highs and clearity to me is not there. If you plan on buying an amp for your car, check your speakers first before buying this amp. But for the price and quality Its' a good amp.

Very good amp for the price n size. Very loud n extremely clear detailed sound. Amp is pushing two pairs of alpine type R components in my van with out no problem or ever heating up. Great amp for the budget n sound quality!
