What's great about it: It doesn't take up a lot of trunk space.
What's not so great: Nothing !!!
I purchased this about a month ago at a Best Buy in Queens, it was open box and got a great price for it with 4 yr warranty....I got this hooked up to a BOSS AUDIO Chaos Epic 2500 Watt 5 Channel MOSFET AMP....This is an amazing sub you won't be disappointed !!

What's great about it: Price - Sound
Got 2 of these hooked up and the dial isnt at half and tthey sound Bomb. Hooked them up to my Bose Factory Head Unit running at 2-Ohms. Nashua, MA Best Buy Installers did a bang up job. Got the warrenty in case they dont last. that was a deal to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Found this clearance for $31.99 each. Bought to to replace my Type-R's. Way to powerful for me. Bought the Alpine MRP-500 Watt amp. Getting it hooked up tomorrow so havent heard it yet but Alpine is the best for experience.

What's great about it: every thing in a great sub
What's not so great: it doesnt go to work for me, or nothing
I use to have 2 12" rockford fosgate subs that were incredibly loud and also incredibly expensive, these alpine subs keep up or sound better than the fosgates. Great price, great sound all in a 10" sub, you'd be and idiot to not buy these. By the way I started with one sub and that alone was loud and solid then i added the second one and it was incredible.

Don't Buy offline, Sub is only 45 dollars now, call the best buy online number and do it threw the phone or store.

I have two of these in a directfire setup. Man! These things can shake my neighbors windows when I'm parked in my garage! Definitely the way to go if you don't want to break the bank.

What's not so great: N/A
All I can say is wow. Wasn't expecting this kind of output from a budget 10". Modeled a 1.3 cu. ft. box in bassbox, with a 35hz tune. Not only does this sub get loud, it stays accurate and clean and handles low notes extremely well. Nobody believes its a single 10" in my trunk!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got these in a 2 for 1 deal and they kickass!! You must run them with the power rating to enjoy them. I installed one in my gf's car and mine. I'm very pleased with them. They pound with the right set-up.
My advice would be to learn how to install an amp to save yourself some serious cash.

Powering two of these subs in a atrend box with an alpine m500 amp. These 10's pound hard enough to skip my cd player in my late model truck. Using an atrend custom fit box in my silverado. One of the better sounding systems I've put together and I've built alot of systems. If you want clean, hard hitting bass these are the subs for you!

What's great about it: the lows and overall sound quality
I recently owned a rockford sub and after 4 years it finally went out. I bought this Alpine b/c i heard it was the best and it's not letting me down. The bass on it is very clean sounds great in my car!

I have a pair of them installed in my 99 firebird and they hit really hard. They catch highs and lows really well and they arent that expensive. If your setting up a mid priced system with limited room these subs are the way to go.

What's not so great: price is a bit high, some distortion when really loud
i bought this sub after comparing almost all the subs in my price range. this sub was the best at producing the really low end tones. after it was installed, the installer turned up the volume and i couldn't believe that my car could sound that good. I have just one in a sealed box with a kenwood amp, and it is loud and is very accurate until you turn it way up. Overall the sub sounds great and gets lounder than most of the same price, but is a bit pricy. Try to wait till it comes on sale.

What's great about it: inexpensive, good looking, well made

Well, they work great they are loud despite being cheap. If you don't have any issues with money though buy a more powerful woofer. Although its loud it sounds really good only at certain frequencies. During ultra-low-bass they have trouble reaching very high db. Also you should buy the service plan because I had my amp turned up too loud and it blew both of them out in a week. I turned my amped down and have since had no problems. Although not as powerful as other woofers people still watch me when i drive down the street, and friends still can't get over how loud they are. So, if your budget is tight this is the way to go.

What's great about it: let me tell you what... with the right music and settings you can shake a house with them trust me

wow...i have 2 type e's in a sealed box and it freaking thumps let me tell you what. i didnt think that they would have huge amazing bass but once i hooked it all up, tuned it, and burned a few cds i found out that its just perfect. if your looking for some really good subs for a great price or if your just looking to make people mad cause they dont have any thump thump, then this is what you want

it isnt worth what sticker is, i would rather have a 10" rockford p3 for 50 more dollars.. These sound best if you have two, but why spend 250 on 2 10" subwoofers?

I got this to put in the back of my suv and put it in a sealed sub box i made and it sounds great. I've turned the stereo all the way up (i paired it up with a pair of alpine components for tail gating) and the bass is tight and no distortion and no blow out ether. I would highly recommend this sub.

I recently had a pair of these installed in the back of my vw golf.... and DANG its loud and puts puch in every song i listen to. I would put 6 stars if it would let me. I also reccomend the infinity 1600a amp. These together make your car loud and proud.
