"Wow what a deal. This was dropped in price SUBSTANTIALLY and we couldn't afford to not buy it. It is so fast and wonderful to use, I can't say enough. Though I am not a gamer, it is still exactly what I needed. I won't need another for a long time!"

"On a system with a CPU as powerful and fast as this, there's not much serious gamers can do with only 256MB for the excellent ATI 3850, a card that's preferable to most all of the Nvidia 8000 and 9000 GS and GT series cards.

It's a suitable configuration for an Intel Entertainment Center type of system and meets all of those chores beautifully.

It's not future-proofed at all, but with Velocity that's never a problem as upgrading is their middle name. If you're buying this box for serious gaming - and the price IS attractive - call up Velocity and have them replace the 3850/256MB GPU with an ATI 4870X2/1GB plus some serious cooling to see what the world's fastest and best graphics card is up to these days.

The ATI 4870X2 easily blows away Nvidia's current top card the 280. The Intel CPU on this Velocity box can easily handle the extra power and it's what we did easily. Give it a shot when and if you're ready to turn this great entertainment system into a serious gaming rig."

Pros: reliable in many ways, great graphics,Easy to use, Fast,vista moves farily smooth,very easy to upgrade
Cons: No TV Tuner, other then that none

"Good price for a powerful product like this! Runs fast and smooth when playing any games such as C&C3,Sims2,Battlefield 2142, and est.. Has a great look with glow and you can easily look; If any problems using the see threw side panel. It also Has a very good hard drive. All in all a good computer for all hardcore gamers with a budget or for personal use. (indeed a 5/5)"

Cons: got over heated and had to shut down computer

"My husband buy this computer because he loves to game. WOW and others. This computer is a gamers dream. He loves the graphics and of course the speed. He did say that the graphics card was pushed to its max to were the graphics were getting distorted. He was playing 6 hrs staight. He shut the computer down to cool off. Other then that he loves it."

"Went to Best Buy to get Wii games - an associate stopped and asked if we needed help...he said he had a great buy on a computer and we should take a look. We listened to him, got it home and he wasn't joking - whoa, what a machine...went back 2 days later to pick up more games. Not only does this unit look great, but the speed is dead on. You will not be dissappointed!"

"First thing ya notice out of the box is the quality this case has. Brushed aluminum exterior with a side window that shows a well routed wire assembly for maximum airflow. Further inspection shows quality products where used in the construction of this case with the Intel wolfburg 3.16ghz processor the corsair 800mhz ram and the Ati Radeon graphics card. Although the graphics card is not any where near the top it serves its purpose well and you can always upgrade later to the GeForce® 8800 GTS OC 512MB for about 250 off tiger direct. I was disappointed to see there was no sound card and only integrated which is sub par but for 75 bucks plus depending on what you use the computer for you can get a a sound blaster card or likewise and really hit some tunes. Just a side note if you do get a sound card be sure to disable the drivers for the integrated sound as they would only let my logitech 5.1 system play the front left and right until i disabled the old drivers. I also like the goody bag of spare parts they give you unlike other company's that just throw them out. The wireless card that comes with the computer functions well and threw multiple rooms keeps a constitute high strength signal. The keyboard has a crisp feel to it with the buttons well spaced for hours of use. The mouse also functions well and has very good response. My only real issue iv had with this computer is Vista as it still has alot of bugs and small issues but thats a Microsoft issue."

"This is the most amazing gaming machine ever built. The company is very reliable, and its a very attractive looking machine. It has a side window that lights up and the processor is really fast. 2 cores @ 3.16 Ghz. That's really good. The graphics are amazing and the RAM really helps to improve overall performance. I recommend you get this machine for the price, brand reliability and service."

"Atractive aluminum mini tower w/ awesome features and performance. Ireally like the front firewire, usb ports etc. Very happy with online performance w/ 1st person shooters. The whole family loves the tower. I normaly build my own computers but, time constraints and untimely demise of old tower made this the time to buy one. I am happy with purchase."

Cons: weak video card compared to the processor

"I love this machine! So well made and packaged, good documentation. Vista is running nicely. The system is very quiet and very fast compared to Q6600 quad processor I looked at. Even though brand new, the ATI Radeon 3850 is a lower end card and not a good match with the E8500 processor in this machine. I upgraded to an Nvidia 8800GT and the combination is stunning - this is the card that should come with the system."

Worth the extra money 03/10/2008

Pros: Fast, Efficient Work horse of a processor. Rendors graphics wonderfully. Blows the Q6600 2.4 quad core out of the water.
Cons: Pricey (but worth it if you can swing it) No TV Tuner , wireless internet requires an antenna that you must attach.

"I first purchased the HP - Pavilion Elite Q6600 TV Model m9150f. I exchanged the HP for this one because the wireless keyboard and mouse that come with the HP are kind of junky in my opinion and aren't very responsive for online gaming.

Boy am I glad that I decided to get this guy. This computer rolls up the Q6600 HP computer that I had and smokes it for performance.

I know that on paper the specs a kind of similar to other computers that Best buy carries. However, if you have the means, and they are offering some good financing, I would recommend this system to anybody as it's probably the most enjoyable out of the box computer I have ever used.

Trust me, this computer PERFORMS better than any other computer best buy carries at this time ( 3/10/08 ). This is one of the few that is actually optimized out of the box for performance and efficiency.

Also, the blue lit interior of the computer is a nice touch and the case quality and cooling is a notch above all the rest.

Thanks for reading and good luck in finding one, I am sure they will sell out."

"Got this rig yesterday and am very pleased with my purchase. Everything you need from a value priced PC. I still have 2 PCI Slots to play with and will probably install a sound card and a TV tuner card in the future. It would have been nice if a high def player was included as I have an HD monitor.(Gateway FHD 2400) Movies look great on the DVD drive. I am not really a gamer, but I am sure this thing would run just about anything out there. CPU clock speed is 3.13 Ghz, and I have read of some people overclocking it to around 4 Ghz., if that is your thing. If you want a fast, reliable and great looking PC for around $1,500.00, do not buy one without checking this one out."

"I play WOW, I wanted a system that came ready to play with out spending anymore money on hardware upgrades...this desktop fit my needs to a T!! It is very fast, on-board graphics card is amazing, both keyboard and mouse are high enough quality to play PC games. In addition to it being a great buy for gamers it looks cool as well :), it's really awsome to be able to see the inside of the system and the blue lights are a cool touch!! Never happier!!!"
