I purchased these earbuds for use at the gym. The sound quality was horrible. Sound came through on both sides, but only one side of the music came through. Very disappointed, complete waste of money. I wish I could return them and get my money back.

The sound is great and the durability is awesome. However, the buds continue to fall out of my ear, even with the smaller buds provided. These headphones make it difficult to workout since they continually fall out of my ear. I'm constantly pushing the buds in my ear, even as I'm sitting on a plane.

They have an excellent fit and you can exercise comfortably without falling out of the ears, but the sound is not very good, especially the bass.

I bought these to use as in ear monitors at church. I play bass guitar and needed something to give me low end. These work better than the Shure set of iem's I was using. They sound great, and the noise canceling is amazing. I didnt realize my baby was crying until I looked down and saw her face. (I'm sure that makes me look like a bad dad but she was only crying for a second but I couldnt hear it) I have no idea how they work if you are using these for a work out but they work great for what I need.

Personally I think I've found the best headphones for my money with these Sony headphones. I like that they are so versatile - I can wear them over the ear or not, and that I can shorten the length of the cable. I use these only for running, and I really hated that with my old headphones, I would have a ton of extra cable that I had to work with, and always got in the way. If you're using an armband for an MP3 player, the shorter length is really ideal. The earpieces never fall out, and once they're in I cannot feel them at all. The sound quality is fine, although I'm sure you could find better sound out of a much more expensive pair. I'm only running with these, and I'm not too concerned about perfect quality sound. Great choice for someone who needs versatility on a budget.

they do not stay in place if you're doing anything active, and when they aren't properly fitted the sound quality is terrible. When you wear them as earbuds, the cord is too long and the weight of the cord when activity is occurring will slowly pullthem out of the ears. Decent headphones, but Terrible for sports or any activity. if you want headphones for sports get the new balance or philips over the ear headphones.

This earphone comes with 3 sizes of earbuds. I had to try several times in the gym to figure out which one fit better for me. After the 3rd try, I figured out which one was good for me. Once it fits, the sound is great. I do not hear the noise of other people or machines.

Thought this might be a upgrade to the earbuds I had purchased b/f for less then half the price. The cord of my old buds wore out over time. I wanted something with the over the ear piece that would help keep it in place as I use it working out. These did not stay in place so I returned them. I know a lot depends on the listeners ear as to how they stay in place, but this product didn't have the correct angle to fit into my ear and is not at all adjustable. Sound quality was less then my previous buds and these were as comfortable either.
What's great about it: had seperate extension cord and case
What's not so great: won't stay in my ear, not comfortable

These are the most comfortable and great sounding headphones I've found used without the ear clip and simply as buds for running while profusely sweating. Most others easily slip out but these stay put and work more often than not. However, do buy an extended protection plan- the last three sets I've owned have not lasted longer than a year running 3-4 times per week.

When I lost my iPod's earbuds in an airport, I purchased these as a replacement. Their sound is below average, the over-ear attachments don't work particularly well, the cord length without extension is too short, and none of the three in-ear pads fit my ear well.
On the other hand, the case is nice.
I will not be using these any more once I purchase a replacement.

After about 3 months of use at the gym one of the earpieces wasn't working. The sound was great when it was new but I seemed to be losing volume at times as the product got older.

Purchased to listen to music from my laptop but the cord is too short. These ear buds are only long enough for a ipod or the likes and straped to your upper arm. VERY SHORT CORD.

I purchased 3 kinds of headphones in one week. The first pair was the sennheiser Massive Bass. Sony was the next pair. 20 minutes later, back to Best Buy for an exchange. Next was the
