"This computer is awesome. I had heard some great things about apple products before but now owning one I will never go back to any other company. There is amazing picture quality, great programs and easy to use! Definitely a product I would recommend to all my family and friends."

"An apple macbook is something I have dreamed about having ever since Freshmen year of high school. The design and reliability it has makes me want to get one. Cons: WiFi is weak, but it does work.

"I've owned a laptop since the mid-90's, ranging from Toshiba, Apple PowerBook, Gateway, etc. and this is by far my favorite; well ...... a very close second to my old Apple Powerbook. I like the size, the weight and the feel.

I like the fact it's ready to go from the moment you open the box. It came with simple apps I could use for my work; not necessary the best apps available, but it does meet my needs.

Bottom line - it's easy to use and when you set up the preferences, it even updates itself without any effort on my part."

"What can I say, it just works. I took mine out of the box, connected it to the internet and it was up and running without any of the PC configuration hassles. Later I added wireless and it worked immediately. Again, no PC configuration hassle. The Apple just figures it out and goes on with business. Transferring from another computer was also a snap. Just connect it over the LAN and tell it where to find the old data and it does the rest. I have it set for network printing and faxing and that was also very easy to set up."

"This really is one of the best laptops you can buy. I used to be a pc fan, till I tried out Mac OSX and was simply blown away at how fast it runs and how you don't need any anti-virus software to keep her running smoothly. I would recommend ANY Mac to EVERYONE."

Pros: Way more logical and faster than Vista. Great traveling companion.
Cons: Black casing sensitive to fingerprints. I just give it a clean.

"I was so excited when I received this laptop as a gift before starting college. Everyone told me that it would be a learning curve switching from a PC to Mac however, it has been no trouble adjusting. I absolutely love the display of this computer. It is so fast and starts up much faster then any PC I've ever used. Also, it is so lightweight and thin it makes it easy to take back and forth to class. I would highly recommend this Macbook to anyone!"

Apple gave me a Lemon! 08/27/2008

Pros: Apple had fine print in warranty and did not make good.
Cons: 2 self-destructed and I lost Apple appeals for replacement.

"Both the very expensive 17" desktop & laptop turned out to be lemons within a short time. Repair guy said it was obvious these models were defective, urged me to appeal. Apple came back with legal mumbo jumbo how failure items, even tho huge, covered by other co warranties, were not all covered w/i "their" warranty. Both died a slow death, 9 repairs in all, mother boards, other big ticket items, I ended up throwing away 2 computers, thousands of dollars and buying a Dell. Two of my co-workers got lemons and one got a good one. I can't understand Apple's great ratings, it must be a matter of time."

Best Computer Investment I've Ever Made 08/18/2008

Cons: Not as much software on the market for Mac

"Despite never owning a Mac and having minimal experience with them, I do not regret this purchase at all! In the year and a half that I have owned my Macbook it has NEVER crashed on me. It loads faster than ANY PC I have ever used. It's easy to use, the graphics are amazing, I can't say enough good things!"
