we recently updated our cell phone contract, but we got the free phones. Well, it doesn't work great all the time, but with the help of this little storage disk, I can have all the media and photos I want. So, I'm happy. Excellent product. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a mini disk!!

I've had this card for a month or so. I had to exchange the first one. It cratered the first day I had it. I exchanged it at a local Best Buy store and the second one has been working great. I have purchased many SD cards and every once in a while one of them fails almost right out of the box. I just exchange it and the second one always works fine.
What's great about it: Inexpensive
What's not so great: First one cratered

From the moment I inserted the micro SD card in my camera it has worked perfectly since. I have tested inserting it into the card adapter many times and it works as designed.
You will not be disappointed if you buy this product.
What's great about it: Everything, especially the price. It works just as designed, no problems at all.
What's not so great: No problems at all.

This is a great product to purchase with a cell phone that has a microsd slot available. It adds a decent amount of storage space for music and photos, especially if your phones storage space is limited, which mine is. I recently purchased but don't plan on taking the card in and out of my phone much as I've read they get banged up easily and decreases the lifespan. Check or ask before buying though, your phone might already have a microsd card in it at purchase. I just bought a Blackberry Bold 9700 and it came with a 2GB card, which I didn't know about until I was opening up the back to put this one in.
What's great about it: Decent amount of storage
What's not so great: Lifespan

Purchased this on Black Friday for $20. What a great deal for a 8 mb. As long as you have a newer phone you shouldn't run into any issues with compatibility. Works great no crashes stores loads of music and reformatted videos. Highly recommend.

I stopped by Best Buy looking for Christmas gifts and stumbled upon this micro-disk. Bought it on a lark for my Motorola E8 cellular phone. With the onboard 2 GB plus this 8 GB disk I'm cookin' with gas! The 4 GB disk I had been using was getting full and the phone's response time was slowing down. This new 8 GB has jump-started the file search and play speed back up to par! GREAT! I'm keeping a wary eye on the durability issue that has been reported. So far? So good.
What's great about it: Memory space and access speed
What's not so great: No problems so far. But, it's early yet.

bought it for my new blackberry 8 months ago. It worked well but since has lost everything that was on it and gives a format error. When I put it in my desk top it was dead.

Installed this card, loaded music, with in a day all the data disappeared.
As in other reviews, my player showed the card was not there. This card was a total waste of time and money. Between loading the data, and trying to figure out why my player wouldnt show card, proved it was a really bad product.

I had to buy this for my jvc everio mg330. It was on sale for $29.99 that week. It's rather small, and has given me lots of space to record videos. I record so much footage, but am able to upload it to my computer and keep on recording. Good money spent. Just wait for it to go on sale.
What's great about it: lots of space
What's not so great: the price online.. wait for it to go on sale

when you compare the price of this product to other competitors. I think it's reasonable. You want to go with a wellknown company, especially when it's only a few bucks higher and same capacity.
What's great about it: Good price compare to other competitors or other Sandisk models

I bought this memory to use with a new Nokia E71. I've bought and used SanDisk CompactFlash memory products in the past and have been extremely satisfied with them. I have a 32MB card I bought in 1998 that I continue to use to this day for transferring files between computers.
I have to add my voice to the chorus of those who are complaining the product fails early in its lifecycle. I installed this memory expansion in my phone on 5/4. Since that time, I used it to record several photos and videos and was very satisfied with performance. I did take it out of the phone one time about a week ago to transfer a file sent to me in e-mail to my computer. Wanting to be sure I didn't have any issues with corruption, I even turned off the phone before removing the card. I made the transfer without issue, reinstalled the card to my E71, and continued without any issues, until today, 5/17. When I tried to access a picture I'd taken on 5/13, my phone locked up. I had to remove the battery to get it to recover. After about 30 minutes of troubleshooting, I had isolated the culprit to the SanDisk memory. I confirmed my suspicions by attempting to access the photo from two different computers, then finally attempted to reformat the card. Windows couldn't complete the format (didn't give a reason - thanks for nuthin' MSFT!), and Solaris informed me there was a fatal error at block 16384 on the card.
Don't buy this SanDisk product. There are plenty others like it on the market. I'm taking it back to the Best Buy where I picked it up to see what my options are. Hopefully, I'll be able to apply it's cost as credit toward something from Kingston.
What's great about it: The ADAPTER was useful - the one time I got to use it before the MEMORY failed
What's not so great: The useable lifespan of the memory

I have the nokia E71 (not purchased from this site for reasons) and I have this memory card. This work amazing, and can handle all the video, programs, docs, music, and whatever you can store on it. Transfer rate is fast enough for movies and other large files.
The reason why I rated this a one for value for price is too high for this memory card.
I would recommend this product, but not for 50 bucks
What's great about it: 8gb of storage on such a small card. Perfect for phones that are smartphones with heavy multimedia useage
What's not so great: Durability can be an issue if consistently removing it

I brough 1 day and it alrealdy not working, the price is pretty cheap, but the quality is so worst, i called the manufacture and the customer service told me the prodcut has porblem.
What's not so great: short life, and never been work, the quality is so cheap

I was using this memory card in my cell phone and everything was going great until one day I was taking photos and as my picture was being stored, everything just went blank. I turned off my phone and turned it back on to discover that all the things I had stored on the card was all gone! In fact, neither my phone or my computer can even read the card. I put in my old 2 gb memory card and that was working fine. I switched back to the 8 gb and nothing.
What's great about it: Capacity
What's not so great: Short life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
