What's great about it: gameplay/graphics
What's not so great: cheesey nude scenes and voice acting
this is my first GOW game, aside from demos. for a handheld game, it offers good graphics and gameplay. save points are adequate and can be picked up were you leave off. i am truly impressed with the story line and features. the game does have mature content, so be warned. it is tacked on and really quite pointless.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Graphics, price, history...!
What's not so great: It is a really short game...
Well the game is really good, it is not the best of all the God of War games but the graphics are awesome and basically the game is one of the best that I have seen and played on the PSP.
The only bad thing about the game is that it is too short, I finished it in approximately 5 hour (really good 5 hours by the way).
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: GOOD PRICE, GREAT GRAPHICS.
very good game so far havent completed yet but played for several hours already. i ordered online and picked at store. it was a great experiance i didnt have to wait very long when i got to the store and received emails very fast.

What's great about it: the god of war game seems very great is keeps you entertained
What's not so great: i wish the game was more longer
the god of war for the psp did not let me down i love the the game play i never got bord with it when i got it i could not put it down the game really shows off the hight quality gaming that you can get from the psp. But i do wish the game was longer to play but sony did not let us down when they made god of war for the psp. the game has great del of game play i really would tell and one to pick up this game if you have a psp1000-2000,3000, and pspgo

What's great about it: Great price. The graphics are very good for the PSP. Music is also intense and keeps the game moving along.
What's not so great: Sometimes the camera angle/view can be hard to get used to. I want to look around more, but the camera is fixed.
I'm not nearly even completely through the game so I can't rate the entire game yet. However, there is a good mix of challenges and fight scenes. The weaponry and magic are very cool. Despite the funky camera angles at times, this game will keep me entertained for a long time. You will end up repeating fight scenes many times until you can master the final fight sequence of buttons to hit to "finish" off a victim.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My uncle bought me this game today a few hours ago. When I put it in my psp the only part i had to complain about was that when you start out new there is some movie that plays (explaing the story of Kratos) but you cannot exit out of the movie you have to wait a few seconds to minutes for it to end. Anyways I really really love this game! The only reason I am writing this review is because my psp died. But seriously I enjoy this game and i think everyone should own it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

There's little to write about this game. It stands up to the enjoyment of the console versions in every way. If you like the series, this is a must buy and the only way to enjoy Kratos on the go.

What's great about it: Amazing Graphics (in-game AND cut-scenes), Awesome Gameplay
What's not so great: Much Shorter Than I Expected
After downloading a demo of GoW:CoO onto my PSP, I knew I had to have it! This is one of those rare gems, so masterfully crafted you'd think you are playing a game that should cost several times more! Chains of Olympus has offically gotten me hooked (no pun intended) on the God of War series! I never really got into the PlayStation2 games, as I got sick of watching my friends play the same games over and over, but now that their interest has died down it has allowed me to really start to experience these on my own!
The gameplay is EXTREMELY solid. The controls are easy to pick up, and become like 2nd nature after only a brief period. The puzzles make you think, and the enemies and bosses have many different forms of attack that will surely keep you on your toes! Also worth mentioning are the extra challenges that you open upon finishing the game- they will definately keep you coming back for more!
Sadly, all good things must come to an end, and Chains of Olympus is no different. CoO is a relatively short game (not surprising for a game of this poise) and even the aforementioned challenge games don't help to make it last much longer. God mode adds additional challenge (and how!), but the bottom line is: as awesome as the all the voice-acting and cut-scenes are, they just take up too much space on such a little disk! Either way, I won't complain- this is a truly awesome game and even those who've never played God of War before will find plenty to satisfy their quest for excitement here!

What's great about it: A Violent blood thirsty man on a Rampage of murderous intent seeking revenge upon the gods of olympus.
What's not so great: A very short game, you can beat this game from about 1 to 2 days (not so very long).
God of War for the PSP console: This game has got to be one of the most talented game ever made for the psp system console. The game has a variety of weaponry not to mention you can upgrade it to its full capabilities. The chain combos are fantastic, its also good for long distant attacks. The part I like best is when you fight an opponent double, no triple, your size and weight and in order for you to defeat him you must do a deadly link of combonations by doing this you must press certain amount of buttons in a certain order and when its all done and done perfectly youll eventually kill him. This game is awsome. I remember when I brought the very first god of war game ever made and beat it in about a week for the playstation 2 system console. In that game is how it all started and how he became what he is now which of course was aries fault, (Aries is known as The God Of War) for encouraging him to start unnecessary wars to please himself and didnt care of nothing else even having the ghost of sparta murder his own family. At that point for that, the ghost of sparta disliked Aries and his motives and wanted to kill the god of war but after doing just that, the ghost of sparta was not pleased still and wanted more, so for him to be at peace he wanted to murder every god there is (which means everybody). The gods eventually kills him (meaning more then one time) but for some odd reason he always seems to come back to life in every god of war game made which was unpleasant to my eyes because I wanted the gods to win but since the whole game is about him, he gets to win. In my opinion no mortal can kill a god (greek methology) it is impossible to do so (no matter what anyone says). My, what I dislike part of the game is the male and female together in a room scenery (if you know what I mean) was not what I'd hoped for, all you do is hear whatever they are doing but you dont get to see NOTHING. I'm one of the biggest GOW of fans. Definitely anticipating the release of GOW 3. Wtih this version on the PSP. Honestly didn't feel this was going to be possible. Taking things to another level and also being able to have such a high performance. To me its one of the best games that was released on the PSP. For those who haven't got into the series. Well, now is the time. Check it out and you will not be disappointed.

This game is one of the best PSP games I have played. For a PSP game it is pretty lengthy, the campaign is pretty long and once you have beaten it there are challenge levels that are unlocked. Very good game, a must have for owners of the PSP.

The game was exceedingly great.Good graphics and good story line.Lots of weapons and diffucult challenges. They also have 4levels:1:Mortal(Easy Mode)2:Hero(Normal Mode) 3:Spartan(Hard Mode) 4:God(Very Hard).It has good stuff,but a kind of short.
