What's great about it: good sturdy feel, good camera, option to text using QWERTY or standard
What's not so great: large surface scratches, texting issues
I've had my phone for just about a year now and I love it. Usually, I get bored with phones after 6 months or so and itch for that upgrade...but I really, really think this phone is awesome. It's nice looking, it's fun to fiddle with when you're bored, and it's overall a great phone to have.
Some minor, I repeat, MINOR issues I've had with it include: Sometimes the back button doesn't register. Some of the other reviews say some of the QWERTY buttons don't register, but I've never had any problems with any of those buttons not coming up, just the back button, and that only started about a month ago. Another issue is that sometimes when I'm texting on the QWERTY, it sends my message before I'm done typing it. I have really slender fingers, so I don't think I hit something I didn't mean to... it just happens randomly.
One thing I will tell you is to get the insurance if Sprint provides it for you. I dropped my phone on the concrete a month after I got it, and it dropped in exactly the right position to crack the screen, in several places, where it was unreadable. Sprint was quick and professional in getting it replaced and didn't hassle me about what happened.
When I bought the phone, I was kinda nervous the screen would scratch a whole lot since it's so big. It's been normal wear and tear on the phone, but I'm happy to report it doesn't 'attract' scratches like some phones seem to do.
I highly recommend this phone to people who are busy and full of personality, just like this phone is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Durable, solid feel, works well with both key sets (QWERTY and standard)
What's not so great: Only takes up to a 4GB Micro SD, didn't work to connect to a stereo
I have had this phone for about a year and I really like it. It feels solid and the slide action isn't flimsy. I haven't seen any weird behavior yet, and it can handle a drop or two, or three... Decent camera, video w/ sound, cable available for wired computer connection if you don't have Bluetooth.
I considered trying to use it as an MP3 player so I wanted a bigger Micro SD card, but this unit is capped at 4GB, so not a ton of room for music. Also, the jack adapter I purchased to bring it's headphone jack up to standard size to use with my stereo system didn't seem to work... I could barely hear sound through the speakers. The phone's own speaker should be louder/better quality to be used for music.
Great for standard camera phone use and texting your brains out!

What's great about it: Basic but interesting, good keyboard, really nice look.
What's not so great: battery life, and when you text fast some of the keys dont register when you press them.
I got this phone not too long ago, like about a half a week, and I love it! I've sent around 1000 messages or more on this phone already, and I've really gotten use to it!
I've heard alot of bad about this phone, mostly about how it freeses and shuts off on its own. My really close friend has one and it does that mabie once or twice a week, and she's had it for about 4 months.
Some of the features of this phone;
all of the buttons are nicley raised, and spaced very evenly. The full color screen is really easy on the eyes, and not too overwhelming with color. On the left, top, there is the dedicated volume control buttons, on the left, bottom, there is a dedicated camera/camcorder button. On the bottom of the phone, there is a slot for charing, on the right, bottom, there is a MicroSD card slot. And on the right, top, there is a slot for headphones. (MOST REGULAR HEADPHONES DO NOT FIT!) and when you tilt the phone on its right, there is a full QWERTY keyboard.
For the phones features such as bluetooth, VoiceSMS, and etc, please go to "specifications".
Whats nice about this phone;
The front screen is really nice size, and the display is really easy on the eyes. the keys are nicley raized up, with the exeption of the (menu OK) button. It takes some getting use to pressing the (menu OK) button, but you will get use to it within a couple of hours of using the phone. There are two buttons on the side that act as the left and right "soft keys" (i think theyre called), or line keys.
When you tilt the phone on its right, you will notice a slide out keyboard! This is an extremely nice feature for texing. The dedicated camera and volume control buttons are generously placed under your left and right pointer finger when the keyboard is slid out. You use your thumbs to text with the keyboard. The keys are nicely, and evenly spaced, althought they are somewhat hard to get use to if you are use to typing with just the numbers, you will get use to it when you start texting with it.
Whats not so great about this phone;
When texting with the full QWERTY keyboard, sometimes some of the keys do not register, and instead of a message appearing like "hey, whats up?" it will appear as "hy, whats u?". But once you learn how to text more smoothly and rithmly, you will encounter this problem alot less. The 1.3 megapixel camera isn't that great, but hey, its a phone. Sometimes the phone can be a teeny bit laggy, which isnt too much of a problem, only like a second of lag (where it waits to go to a certain page of the phone, example; when you press inbox, it will take about 2 seconds to get to the actual messages.)
Over all, the GOOD over runs the bad. So, I RECOMMEND THIS PHONE 100% if your looking for something basic but interesting, and you dont need all of the features of a blackberry!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: keyboard, looks very cool, good phone overall.
What's not so great: battery life, and when you text fast, some of the keys dont register.
i recently got this phone at my local bestbuy about 3 days ago. ive already sent over 700 text messages on it, and used around 10 minutes on it. i absolutley love it.
ive heard alot of bad about this phone. but to be honest with you, its really great.
some of the good things are that its got microSD, so you can import and export media such as pictures and videos and etc. the full QWERTY keyboard takes a while to get use to if your use to typing with just the numbers, but once you spend about a day texting with the phone, you will get really fast. it has IM and mobile Email, but i think this is included in the data pack, i havent tryed it out yet.
some of the bad things is that the 1.3 megapixel camera isnt that great of quality, but hey, its a cellphone, its used for texting and making phone calls. another thing is that when your texting with the QWERTY keyboard fast, some of the buttons that you press wont register, so instead of your message looking like "hey, lets go to the skatepark." it will look like "hey, lts go t the sktepark". but this only SOMETIMES happens.
personally, i think that the good overrun the bad, so therefore, if your looking for something basic, and you dont need all of the features of a blackberry, i reccomend you buy this phone!

What's great about it: unique design-slide out keyboard for text/data entry
What's not so great: small keys only work on small fingers
My wife got this when we updated our Sprint service. She really liked the slide out keyboard for texting, and the unique green color.
The phone adjusts very well for normal operation or slide-out, the display seamlessly adjusts to the correct orientation (vertical or horizontal) to work with your keyboard. I thought that was very nice.
I also liked the ability to add content with a micro-SD card, we found a Vista wallpaper my wife liked and we cropped and imported it to her phone--the tropical waterfall goes great with her green case!
A few negatives, though. I couldn't create my own ringtones with the memory card, but I was able to use myxer.com to fix that little issue. Also, I find that the keys (and the front joystick/OK button combo) are too small for my taste. I have to press the center button with my fingernail to reliably hit it. But then again, it's not my phone. Take it for a test drive, if you can work the buttons, you will love it, I know my wife does!

What's great about it: The shade of green is super cute, MP3 player
What's not so great: Cant use MP3 for ringtones slider keyboard too small
I recently purchased the green version of this phone and I ended up returning it. It has alot of good features but it personally didnt work out for my needs. I liked the MP3 option but I was VERY disappointed that I couldnt use it as a ringtone and that I had to purchase a SD card. I also found the slider keyboard to be useless. The buttons were so small that I ended up not even using it. The LCD screen was nice and the camera was adequate but overall I didnt like this phone.

What's great about it: Great battery life, slider QWERTY keyboard, good camera, MP3 player
What's not so great: None I can think of
As a reluctant, longtime Sprint customer this is one of my favorite phones. This should speak volumes considering in my 9+ years w/Sprint, I have acquired enough Sprint handsets to open up my own Sprint "refurbished" phone store! Great battery life, a built-in camera that actually takes a decent picture, MP3 player, and the slider keyboard. It comes in Black, White, and Green. If you opt for the Green one, it comes in environmentally friendly packaging!

What's great about it: Slider with full keyboard, 1.3 mp camera, MP3 Player
What's not so great: No Power Vision
This is a great basic phone with a couple frills. Great camera and texting phone. The slider feature is tough and can taking a beating. The expandible memory slot lets you easily take pics to get printed and also listen to you fav mp3's. NO MP3's cannot be made as ringtones. I just wish they would have put Power Vision into this phone and it would be an elite phone.
