What's great about it: Quiet running, quick cooling
This little AC unit works great for smaller areas. I have it in one bedroom of my house and will probably buy another one for a downstairs bedroom shortly. It has consistantly fought off the Texas heat for well over a year now and it hasn't failed to make me comfortable yet. The bedroom it is in is roughly 13X14 and does a great job of keeping it right at the temp I set it to. The only thing I have found slightly bothersome is the filter is removed from the right side instead of the front and the window it is in slides left to right to close so it is difficult to get to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Quiet
What's not so great: Is not good when it's hot out
I have had this model for over a year and am about to throw it out. I am cooling an 11X14 room so 6000 btu shouldn't be a problem. This AC does not preform well when you need it. When it's moderately hot out (75-80) you will be running it at it's highest setting. When it gets past 90 it's uncomfortable. I'm sorry I brought this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Very Cold and Quiet
What's not so great: None
I went to Best Buy to get an 8000btu for my master bedroom which is about 12x18 (perhaps a little larger) and they were sold out so I decided to try the 6000btu instead and I bought open box so I got it for 10%less. It works great, quiet, I don't even notice it is on and the energy saver feature is a plus. I highly recommend it and with Frigidaire you cannot go wrong.
I would recommend this to a friend!
