What's great about it: TONS of Ice
What's not so great: Drains TONS of water -- must connect to a permanent drain
Very, very expensive. But, if you need ice, no, if you need TONS of ice, this it the machine. 60LBS. per day while holding 30LBS. is a lot. Most machines are not even close to this output and capacity.
Downside: don't buy this unless you can and will hook this up directly to a drain. It discharges TONS of water from the drain tube. Forget the gravity drain unless you are outdoors and it drains right into the ground.
This machine can be used outdoors and is built very, very well. Solid, really. The compressor is commercial duty.
Finally, it looks great! You get what you pay for.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Stainless looks chic and classy. Excellent amount of ice production
What's not so great: Sit down before you hear the price. This is NOT an inexpensive purchase.
The stainless steel is beautiful in a contemporary kitchen with other stainless appliances or in a bar type setting. It is impressive to be able to make this much ice and it is nice not to have to hassle with buying bagged ice. So, if you do a lot of entertaining or are outfitting a workplace kitchen with enough employees to justify the expense, it is worth the price. However, if you do not entertain a lot, this is not a cost effective purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: stainless steel, clean fresh ice, self-cleaning, just great
What's not so great: price
I love my Electrolux Icemaker. The ice doesn't have that weird after taste that icemakers built into the refrigerators leave. The ice looks like the ice you get in your drink at restaraunts. Its great. Pricey for ice. But great.
I would recommend this to a friend!
