What's great about it: Great Action, Co-Op, Awesome Story, and an Arsenal of Weapons
What's not so great: Graphics
"This game is really fun. The best feature I like is the Co-Op play, which gives you the ability to arm up with a friend to play the campaign mode. There is a large arsenal of weapons, from assault rifles to sniper rifles. Like the first Vegas, you are given the ability to control your squad of men, mainly with your d-pad. The controls are fairly easy, and it is fun stacking men against the door and using them to breach. One item that is very fun to use is the snake cam. With the snake cam, you can look under the door and see into the room you are going to enter next. You are able to mark enemies, and when you do a red box appears over their head."

What's great about it: Graphics,Blood,Nice range of difficultys,Nice weapons

"Well first, i liked this game a lot. But once i got to level 20 for all three skills, it got really boring. People who have this game might say, "what about the other ranks?". Well its like what i said about the three skills, once you get to the highest rank theres not really a reason to replay it. Although, the reason i liked this game was not because of the campaign but because of the terrorist hunt. There are a lot of maps that dont involve downloading and they are all very detailed. Thats what your going to spend most of your time on probably unless you enjoy the campaign. I really didn't like the campaign that much because it was very short and even on the hardest difficulty i thought it was easy. I know in the pros section i put "nice range of difficultys" and its true, the hard difficulty is to hard for my brother so he plays on a lower difficulty(makes sense right?). Finally, I put online play in cons because i think it is very boring. Its just terrorist hunt but instead of playing with one friend your playing against a couple. Some people might like that so don't take my word for it if you enjoy mulitplayer,try it for yourself. Overall its a pretty good game and i would recommend it to people who like FPS and shooting. By the way I'm only fourteen so sorry if this review isn't good."

What's great about it: Easy gameplay, similar to first game, great online and multiplayer
What's not so great: Not much new from original, only 2 player local multiplayer, short campaign
"Though RSV2 is very similar to the original version, it has been updated to include new uniforms weapons, and levels. Many of the problems with AI have been greatly fixed and its now actually rather tought to play against the computer in campaign or terrorist hunt modes. Still one of the best shooters out there."

What's great about it: 2 primary weapons, control your squad members, terorist hunt, taking cover, customize your character's camo
What's not so great: Online play sucks, ranking up takes forever, only fun for so long.
"Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is a fun game to play, don't get me wrong. You have the freedom to command your two squad members in almost any way you can think of. The minigames, like terrorist hunt, are a lot of fun when you are done with the story mode, Ubisoft does a great job of creating realism and AI inteligence, taking cover is convenient and easy to understand, and you can customize your character like no other game.
So why give this review only 3 stars?
First off, the online play sucks. Much like Turok, you can only do so much. Many games are just a lot of people working together to rank up. So you're sitting there for hours on end doing nothing but losing matches while ranking up a little faster, but ranking up takes for ever and a day. The game play is only fun for so long, and you end up falling back on Call of Duty 4 or Grand Theft Auto 4."

What's great about it: Excellent controls and button layout, more 2 player modes than 1st version.
What's not so great: none
"Similar to the first RainbowSix vegas but the graphics are improved and sprint has been added to the controls. New game modes allow you to earn xp points while playing split screen with a friend. Adversial online gaming is very exciting. Realistic storyline makes it easy for you to "get in the game". Definatly one of the best "shooter" genre games to date."

"I really enjoy this game, it is just as good as the first one. The one and only negative is that it is so similiar to the first vegas game. It is still worth playing, but maybe not much to get excited about and not worth paying so much more than the first one."

"I always end up buying the rainbow six franchise, because first person shooters are my favorite style of gaming and rainbow six in my opinion does it the best. Not to mention the online experience which, I think is the best out there right now. The only games that come close are Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4, but you will enjoy beating the game itself, while spending endless hours online on the fast paced heart pounding action this game brings."

What's great about it: EXTREMELY HARD STORY(HARDEST LEVEL) GREAT GAMEPLAY | FUN MULTIPLAYER AND CUSTOMIZATION
What's not so great: NOTHING
"This game is one of my favorite games when it comes to strategy for shooters, and on a console. The duck and cover scheme is one that I have always loved, from Gears of War and Army of Two. You can rapple and take people out silently, search rooms with snake cams, and maneuver your team through tight situations. There is a very wide range of cusotmizable weapons, camo, and armor to suit your image of a real Rainbow Six Operative. You can add ACOG Scoped, silencers, and even laser sights on your weapons. I love games with ranking systems on it. The more you kill and destroy, the more you'll rank up. You start as a Private, and will eventually, if you have no life, make it to Elite. Which seems like it would take a long time.
Graphics are phenomenal in this game. I just love the gameplay and the storyline. The terrorist hunt is also extremely fun. This game can be played online, with co-op campaign and terrorist hunt. Loved it!"

"if your a rainbow 6 fan this is one of the best with its amazing graphics and gameplay. it goes up to 16 people online and 2 for story mode. it is a very good game overall and very fun but some people just dont like it and some people just love it so if your not sure about this game i would definately rent it first. i would give this game definately a 4 out 5 i was very satisfied with game and collecters addition is cool too with its collectable poker chip and game video with behind the scenes and special tactics hope you enjoy! =]]"

"This game is amazing! It has everything a first person shooter should have. The detailed environments and the A.I. are oustanding. Earning ranks and EXP points are also great additions to this sequel. Multiplayer is the highlight of this game. It is so addictive. This game deserves to be one of the greatest shooters of all time, even being ranked with Goldeneye 007. Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is a great buy. I highly recommend this title."

What's great about it: best shooter gameplay
What's not so great: not much new, laggy in story, not in vegas enough
"This game has improved on Vegas 1 in some ways and has worsened in others. The story line is a decent ending to the first Vegas, although I felt the maps strayed too far from Vegas and had you in a lot of warehouses and what-not. The gameplay is excellent as usual. The new sprint feature is a welcome addition in the story and terrorist hunts and finally gives you the ability to get away from a grenade toss. But it does make online play seem a little faster and more like COD4 which isn't as enjoyable as the first Vegas was. I've heard from many Vegas fans who felt the online play quality went down with Vegas 2; it's a little too much like something a COD4 or Halo fan would like and not a Rainbow Six fan. I do like the new maps more than the last. They seem to have more directions to go and some are very big. New weapons are fun to try but I still use the same guns I used before. You can adjust the number of respawns in online matches regardless of what others say. The ranking isn't much, still easy to rank up and just as easy to boost too. ACES are easy to get through and pretty repetitive. The first week I played this online it seemed like 80% of the rooms were filled with people boosting. I think breaching charges were left out which is just ridiculous. The shotguns are nuts at close range but not so good as they used to be from a distance. There is one map that's useful for a sniper rifle and it's a map borrowed from Vegas 1. One other positive note is that you can adjust your room online to allow for people to join games in progress. So no more of joining a room only to find out that you have to wait 20 minutes to play. Overall it's a very good game that didn't change too much and changed a little for the better and a little for worse. I'd recommend it."

"RSV2 is a decent game and worth a look to anyone who is either a fan of the first game or looking for a shooter with decent online play. The single player story mode is still fun even though I couldn`t really see the link between Vegas 1 and Vegas 2. There are some minor graphic glitches. Terrorist hunt is one of the most fun game modes to play. The ACES system feels very unfinished. Since once you get all 3 catagories to level 20 you keep getting aces points in each catagory but there are no more expierience point rewards. The multiplayer versus isn`t as fun as in RSV1. As ubisoft took out the unlimited respawn option is all of the game modes except 3. The multiplayer maps are as fun as in the last installment. Overall not a bad game and not an overly outstanding game. Just somewhere in between."
