"Bad back, 2 pets. Quiet,easyto handle. Emptying dust bin a breeze, push a button, the bottom opens over your trash can. Study pictures, slots and buttons to put together. Attachments just push on and pull off. Innovative upholstery attachment with lint brush strips."

"If you want to clean your house, don't use your self-esteem to pick your product, because feedback from others causes you to get the shinest thing possible. for $500, it was the fad to buy another country's braintrust product. overall it's an alright product except for a few things like it being very heavy, and requires a lot of maintenance for the average homeowner, if you want value for price, buy a dirt devil or hoover."

"We bought this Dyson like 4 month ago ( we went straight to the DC25, the DC24 is smaller and only 6amp motor...careful) and have never been disappointed since then. the suction is great, the carpet looks new every time we clean it. the ball makes it move so easily that you can zig-zag with it ! I love the look of it, really attractive, and find it really clever not to include a 50 pages ''manual book'' in the box..... we all know how to use a vacuum! The booklet included has like illustrations that would explain how to put it together (like a 3-step thing, no more) I thought in the beginning the cord was a bit short, but then found out it's better, because my feet won't get caught in it, and I won't spend like forever just to put it back in place...."

"Dyson is pricey but we decided to get the dc25 a try, and were extremely satisfied with it's performance.
It picked up everything including the smallest particles from our carpet we never thought were possible to get, in the form of a very FINE dust, not to mentioned hairs and other bigger alien stuffs. Easy to adjust to our hardwood floor surface as well with the touch of a button up next to the power button.
We have never thought we can admire a vacuum cleaner :) but it deserves it. It looks really cool and the ingeneuos and advance features (cyclonic and ball technology) of it left us in an awe.
I personally believe this vacuum has set a new and different standard in the vacuum industry and that other vacuum manufactures will soon follow Dyson foot step.
Highly recommend this product. Worth every penny period!"

"For the most part, I love my Dyson. I bought it a little over a month ago because my 9 month old suffers from eczema and just has very sensitive skin. She'll break out because of allergens such as cat dander and hair, etc. (we have a 5 yr old cat) and the last thing I want to do is get rid of our family pet, so I sought out an alternative. Before we bought our Dyson (and air purifier), her face would break out in a rash each day. Now, I'm happy to say she's been rash free ever since at home!!"

"I don't normally give a five star rating to a product but this vacuum really impressed me. It has a very good suction power. I clean a lot and still could not believe the dust this vacuum cleaner got from my carpet. It vacuums the hair straight to the canister, I was really surprised to see that there were no hair stuck around the brush. The hose is very nice it retracts to its original postion after I am done using it. Style is contemporary and looks durable. Good work Dyson"

"I have to admit, I purchased this vacuum primarily based on the fact that it was the only one with a 5-star rating on this site (with 13 reviews, it had to mean something!). Our carpet was less than a week old when I brought the DC25 home, and I was shocked at how much dirt and pet hair it picked up (we have 4 indoor cats). I think our old vacuum cleaner only stirred dirt up and didn't even think about picking up pet hair.
The DC25 is very easy to put together and I love the way the wand attachment works. The ball is wonderful for maneuverability. Removal of dirt from the canister is the best I've seen yet. Overall, the DC25 appears to be well-designed and full of ingenious functionality.
The price of the DC25 may seem high, but I believe over the life of the product (5-year warranty and washable/reusable HEPA filter) it might actually save you money.
I should probably also add that my wife absolutely loves the DC25 due to the fact that she hasn't had to vacuum since I brought this one home."

"I want to mention that I am an owner of a Kirby and was looking to replace it with lighter vacuum, as the heavy Kirby is hard to carry and maneuver, BUT I did NOT want to give up a deep carpet clean. After doing my research, I bought myself this Dyson and I will never look back!!

The first time I vacuumed with it, I was SHOCKED at how much it sucked up from my carpet!! My carpet had JUST been vacuumed with the Kirby 2 days prior. To be fair, the Kirby probably could've used a bag change, but then again, the Dyson will never have that problem because it doesn't loose suction because of a full bag.

I am 9 months pregnant and my husband forbid me from using the Kirby because it is so heavy and sometimes gets hard to push around. But with the Dyson, I can vacuum with ease!!

I can't say enough good things about this purchase!! It was easy to put together and easy to love!! I will never ever go back to using our Kirby. The Dyson does a better job and does it MUCH easier!!"

"I can't believe the sand and dirt that it pulled out of my carpets. I have two dogs and three kids so I vacuum my house every day. I thought my previous vacuum was doing an alright job....NOT even close! The suction is unbelievable! It is very light as compared to other Dyson's and very easy to use! I was looking at the DC 15 Animal and I have no regrets with the DC 25! It is well worth the money. I didn't really want to spend that much on a vacuum but I'm pretty sure I won't need to buy another vacuum! I would buy another one in a heartbeat!"
