Dyson DC25 Is Phenomenal !!!

What's great about it: Suction Power, Ease of Use, Maneuverability
What's not so great: Can't Find Anything Wrong With It Yet
"I do animal rescue and my home is full of cats. My old vacuum hose would fill up with cat hair and I had to take it apart to unclog it. This was totally frustrating and very time consuming. I decided to bite the bullet and spend some bucks to get a top of the line vacuum that was designed with the animal owner in miind. This little vacuum is absolutely amazing. It is powerful, fairly quiet, very easy to maneuver and simple to use. I was even able to vacuum under my bed without moving it. I was up until 2 a.m. vacuuming my carpets and was so excited by the results I wanted to vacuum everyone in my neighborhoods carpets. In my opinion it is well worth the money and I would highly recommend it."

What's great about it: Get's out the dirt other vacuums leave behind
What's not so great: The power cord is too short
"I vacuumed my home on Friday. On Saturday morning, I went out and found this Dyson model at my local Best Buy store and bought the last one there. After taking about 15 minutes to unbox and assemble it, away we went to vacuum the same floors done on Friday. OMG - There was the same amount of dirt, if not more, in the canister as there was from Friday's vacuuming. Needless to say, I am sold on it. The front door black rugs look 200% better! I like the lightness and maneuverability and the quiet (compared to m old vacuum). The only thing I'd like to see improved is the cord length. I needed to plug it into 3 walls and we don't even have a large home! I'll be going out for an extension cord soon. Great vacuum and a good value since I'll not be replacing it for a long time."

What's great about it: It's powerful suction
What's not so great: I wish the extention hose was longer.
"I'm normally the one who reads reviews but never takes the time to write one. However, in this case, I could not resist. I bought my vacuum a week ago from Best Buy at an incredible price. The lowest around. And, I absolutely LOVE it. I've been wanting to buy a Dyson for awhile but didn't want to spend the money. I finally said enough is enough with my old vacuum and bought the dyson. The amount of dust & dirt picked up was amazing. I found myself vacuuming all weekend. If you're looking at the dyson and you are unsure, I promise you won't be disappointed."

What's not so great: materials feels flimsy but can't say much before using it for a longer period of time
"I just got this from Best Buy for a great price. $400 with 6 month 0% financing.
Starting from unpacking to the first couple of minutes of usage you can tell you have something really well engineered and well thought off.
I am very impressed to see the stuff it vacuumed off from an already vacuumed carpet.
I love the on board extensions and how easy it is to move around and change extensions."

What's not so great: embarrassed when you see how dirty your carpet/floor was
"I got this as a gift from my bridal party last year & words cannot describe how much I love my Dyson!
It picks up everything- hair, dirt, lint, the works. Very easy to put together, amazingly smooth around corners/turns, & it doesn't take up an entire closet to store.
Like most people hate, it costs a pretty penny compared to other vacuums. But, you go get what you pay for- you will never buy another brand once you own a Dyson.
If you don't want to hurt your pockets just to have one, Bestbuy offers their store credit card. They always have great 0% financing deals"

"Before purcashing this vaccum cleaner, I checked the reveiws at the best buy website. I agree with most of them. It took only a few minutes to assemble the vacuum cleaner and it is fun to use. This vacuum cleaner picks up dirt after going over the carpet area only once. The cost of the vacuum cleaner is more than I usually spend but well worth it."

"I was highly impressed with this vaccum ! I have had my "other" vaccum for several years now and when it couldn't pick up lint off the carpet, I knew it was time to upgrade. After reading all the reviews of the DYSON DC25 and the other brands - I knew I had to get the Dyson. I kept my eye on it for several weeks and it was just recently on sale so I went down there and picked one up. Before I brought it home, I had vacummed my apartment with my momma's "Oreck". The Oreck did a great job, but after I ran the Dyson through - my cannister was filled with lots of dust and dirt. I was amazed. The wand was very convenient and very simple for me to use. The wand itself is my favorite feature on the Dyson because now I can suck up all the dust and webs that accumulate in the corners of the ceilings and floors. I would highly recommend this vaccum to anybody. I would wait for a sale though."

What's great about it: It exceeded my expectations!
"We were a little hesitant at buying it at first because of the price, but were very happy we did. Our old vacuum had broken and we waited almost four months before buying a new one! Since we have a cat, you can imagine how gross our carpet was starting to look. As soon as I turned it on and cleaned the first strip, I was amazed at how much it pulled in one swipe. Our carpet looked brand new and the vacuum was even able to pull at the cat litter that had sunken in our carpet. I have never seen that before with any other vacuum. This vacuum did our carpet wonders and the five year warranty is awesome! My only complaint would be that it took a little bit to figure out how the handle works when putting it on and taking it off, but once you figure it out its easy. I highly recommend trying buying this vacuum. They even have a website that walks you through any questions you have on using your vacuum including diagrams; for example: how to clean the filter."

"I bought 2 of the DC25 couple of weeks ago. I never tought I would enjoy vacuuming but since these vacuum under my hand I do love vacuuming. Before I bought the vacuums I had done a long time studying many different kind of vacuums. These vacuums ROCKS!!! Since I had these vacuums my house has less dust problem because of it sucktion.
I bought may things over the years that I really enjoyed but never left any reviews about them. But this vacuum deserves the best. I would like everyone to know it is the best desicion I every made. It worth the money. Don't even think about it just buy it you will see what I am talking about. Just today I was teaching my kids how to use it they even enjoyed vacumming. Can you believe teens and cleaning............."

"This has to be the coolest vacuum cleaner I've ever used or the only cool one I've ever used! The way it rolls around and the whole thing swivels around makes it actually fun to use if you can call a vacuum fun! I never would have thought I would have spent this much on a vacuum but if it really lasts as long as it should, I don't have a problem with that either. My wife really loves it and was telling someone about it like it was some cool new gadget instead of something to clean the house with!"

"This Dyson has changed my life. I didn't believe people telling me that this vacuum was good but they we're wrong because it's awesome!!! I have 4 dogs and I "vacuum every day." Boy was I wrong because when I vacuum my living room I had to empty the canister 2 times!!!! I was in total shock that I even vacuum my couches just to see how dirty my house was. I use it every day and brag to people so that they can be happy as I am."

What's great about it: The ball is the best thing ever. That thing alone saves me more time than I thought.
What's not so great: The cord does not retract. But the cord is super long.
"No more picking up the vacuum to go to a new area. The ball is great - moves everywhere. Forget a gym membership. You will love cleaning so much that you do not leave the house!
Picks up tons of dirt and the suction is top notch for such a little and lightweight vacuum. I almost went with the Animal, but the size is much larger, and I do not want to lug that thing around. This is perfect! So worth the money.
Washable filters rock, and the canister is super easy to dump. LOVE my Dyson."

"A friend of mine purchased a Dyson about 3 years ago and I was blown away that she spent so much on a vaccum! I tried it out and immediatly understood why. I purchased a DC14 Animal and loved it! I never imagined that I could actually enjoy vaccuming! I have hard wood floors, and when Dyson came out with the ball I thought I would love it even more than my DC14. After much debate, I decide to go for it. I am now the proud owner of a DC25 All Floors Ball and I am in love! It is smaller than the one I had before but works just as well. I love the fact that it moves the way it does on the ball, it has made vaccuming so much easier! No moving chairs, tables, etc. out of the way. The extending hose is awesome too! One handed pull and your good to go! The only thing I miss about my old vac is that the cord was longer, but the ball feature has made up for that! Definatly worth the price, you won't be dissapointed!"

"I have always preferred uprights over canister vacuums and this one outdoes them all. There is no question that it cleans better than any others I have tried, it is also very lightweight for carrying up stairs, and the ball makes maneuvering effortless after getting used to it (which took me about 10 minutes). I was told by friends that have bought the older models that the extension wand was very difficult to remove and use, but this one has a very easy extension that was shown to me once at the store and that was all I needed. I'm having fun vacuuming!! However,I don't think any vacuum, no matter how well it sucks up dirt, should have to cost so much. I think that is what scares people from buying one, and that is too bad because it really is the best vacuum I have ever owned. I do believe that you get what you pay for, however, in these financial times if Dyson would improve on the price even by $50.00 they could sell many more to everyone who needs a new vacuum, I would even think about buying one as a gift for christmas for my mom.
My recommendation to anyone looking for a vacuum, if you are willing to pay the price, this vacuum is incredible and you will not have buyers remorse after the bill is paid."

"If you want to clean your house, don't use your self-esteem to pick your product, because feedback from others causes you to get the shinest thing possible. for $500, it was the fad to buy another country's braintrust product. overall it's an alright product except for a few things like it being very heavy, and requires a lot of maintenance for the average homeowner, if you want value for price, buy a dirt devil or hoover."
