Pros: Powerhouse
Cons: NOT FOR FINAL CUT EXPRESS 4 "HD"

"I bought this camera to use with Final Cut Express 4 HD, when I went to import video,FCE did not communicate with this camera. When you record in HD ,it is in the format MPEG 2 and FCE will not be able to read this format. You have to import it through I-movie first then import the file to FCE. What really gets me is both the camera and program say "HD", and it is not a Hard Drive type camera,being mini dv format and not working with FCE? Read all fine print."

"This is a great HD Camcorder ..With its easy touch screen its always easier to access stuff and with the HD its makes video look way way way better..its like the one of those camera that hollywood people use .."

Best decision I ever made 07/20/2008

Pros: everything!!
Cons: None.

"I researched a few camcorders before making my purchase and finally settled on this one. I'm glad I waited. The picture quality is excellent. Plus I can play back recorded material on my HD televisions. Not to mention record while plugged into my laptop. from now on I'll only buy sony camcorders."

"just letting you know fyi, the information bestbuy puts on their website is correct. the sensor on the cmos is 3.2 mp which will produce a 6.1 mp still. the megapixel on the sensor does not tell you the mp of your still but you can always assume it is going to be double. ex..5 mp sensor on sony sr11 will produce 10 mp shot"

"Actually... the info that Best buy says is incorrect..
is 6.1 still image. i have one of this cameras, and if you see in the pictures it says 6.1 MegaPixels.
3.2MP are only if you are videotaping on DV format and you take a picture. but. if you select camera mode, you can take 6.1 images.

BEST BUY have to CHECK his info about products"
