it took me 5 minutes to set this router up and get it working,Linksys Easy Setup Advisor does most of the work for you

What's great about it: EASY SET UP...TAKES MINUTES...WORKS PERFECT!

"THIS LINKSYS ROUTER IS A GREAT PRODUCT. I HAD JUST MOVED INTO MY PLACE AND MY WIFE IS ALWAYS ON THE INTERNET AND I AM PLAYING XBOX 360 AND BOTH UNITS ARE IN THE SAME ROOM. THE INTERNET WAS HOOKED UP TO A CABLE MODEM AND THE MODEM ONLY HAD ONE ETHERNET PORT. AT FIRST...I WOULD HAVE TO TAKE THE ETHERNET CABLE OUT FOR THE INTERNET AND PUT IN THE ETHERNET CABLE FOR XBOX LIVE AND THAT MESSED UP OUR INTERNET CONNECT WHEN PUTING THE CABLE BACK IN.
WELL...THIS PRODUCT SOLVED ALL THAT. I AM NOT WIRELESS AND FOR THOSE WHO ARE STILL USING EHTERNET CABLES OR WIRELESS THIS IS PERFECT. THE SET UP TOOK LESS THAN 10 MINUTES AND WITHIN 10 MINUTES I WAS ON XBOX LIVE AND SHE WAS USING THE INTERNET AT THE SAME TIME. THIS PRODUCT IS WORTH THE MONEY AND DEF. WILL MAKE LIFE EASIER FOR MY WIFE AND I !!!!!"

What's great about it: It was so easy to set up it took me 2 min. to set up. It has good range.
What's not so great: Nothing yet
"I was very surprised at how easy it was to set. The computer pretty much did all the work. All you is put the CD in the computer and it does the rest for you. I have a big house and the router reaches all around my house.
GET THIS ROUTER!!!!!!!!!!"

What's great about it: Easy to set up, reliable
"Excellent router. Very fast setup. Just put the cd in and it pretty much takes care of everything for you. Took all of about 10 minutes and I was up and running with a strong wireless signal and have yet to lose any signal strength yet. I must say that it is either a faulty product or user error if this is not up and running within 15 minutes after you start setup. Nice and compact design also."

"This is very nice router for home use. The set up instructions were easy to follow and it worked perfectly the first time I used it. I'm using this for my home and it works fine. It does have a pretty limited range, but for our house its not a problem."

"This is a good router. The installation took about 10 minutes. The installation CD guides you through the process.
We have just one laptop, so I'm not sure how well this would work with multiple PCs.
We got this on sale for $50, and I feel like we got a good deal."

"The Linksys G wireless router is one of the best items I had purchase from the store on black friday. The set up was so easy to do and took less the 2 minutes to do it. On the first day, I had my labtop connected with internet in no time and works very good. The best thing is that it works great with my Playstation 3, it gets the best service and it doesnt drop any service how I herd other routers do."

"I just got this router on Black Friday in the mob scene at Best Buy and so far it is working great. I just put in the installation CD and the computer does the rest. I have already hooked up my PS3. I am waiting to save up for a network adapter so I can put on my 360. Then, finally I will put on the new laptop my bro is gonna get. Overall GREAT ROUTER!!!!"

What's great about it: Sofar it works for computers three floors away
What's not so great: The set up was lengthy and difficult
"I replaced my old linksys router that I've had for the past 5+ years and worked perfectly, so when a power surge blew it up I purchased this one. The price was right. The installation CD did not work, and ergo the problem starts. It took four phone calls to Linksys, dealing with long hold times, people who had such heavy accents you could not understand, and they charged my $40 for each computer that I had to set-up. It took the better part of a day to work through it. Also they failed to return phone calls, and they said they would send me a $15 credit through email which theynever did. If you buy one be prepared to pay the price in time & money."

What's great about it: cool operation, fast, strong signal all around the house

"I tried different wirelese routers from different manufacturers. Linksys was the best in general.
My last router before this one was also a linksys Vonage router. It has a strong signal but used to overheat (and increased my electric bill). Oneday, it was laying on it's side and it overheated to death.
This new router from Linksys looks really cool and futuristic. It works totally cool and you can barely know that its working just by touching it.
Even though it is only 802.11b/g, I found no reduction of my hi speed internet speed what so ever. I tested that using different speed tests using wired cable and using the wireless connection from across the whole house. That is awsum. The signal is stron even from the second floor across the whole house. I really wounder why linksys is comming with those more expensive "N" routers.
Sitting it up can't be easier. It has all all the modes you would expect from any wireless device. It also has the push-botton setup (not real botton)....... I got it to work "connected securely to all my other wireless devices" in less than 2 minuts.
I would highly recommend it."

What's great about it: Everthing about its performance and the new sleek design
What's not so great: Software is not very good in setup
"What's great about this unit, aside from its clearly nicer and sleek design without antennas, is its functionality. It works beautifully and is reliable. Linksys trully is the best brand in my opinion. For this price range, you simply can't go wrong. It's Wireless G and has 4 physical ports for other devices.
Its only problem is the software setup. If you don't know what you are doing, it's hard to set up. For some reason, these companies can't make an easy wizard to draw it in crayon for the lay person to setup.
Since Linksys was aquired by Cisco, they made an attempt to recreate the software for the setup and maintenance of the device, which was a downloadable update. This new software is seemingly nicer in appearance, but it ruined my network and caused lots of problems, so I uninstalled it and went back to the original setup."
