"I've only have this camera for a week, but so far it seems to be working great. I've read a few reviews which said the smile shutter doesn't work so great, but it seems to work for me. Though you do need to flash some teeth, but there are also sensitivity settings for this feature I have not yet played around with. The 8 megapixels are perfect - I thought about paying the extra money for the 10 megapixels, but for the money 8 is fine. I would save the money you might spend on the 10.1 version and get an extra battery for the camera. Unfortunately (although it does supply one battery) it uses a 3.6 v lithium ion battery as opposed to regular AAs which my older version (very old, purchased in 2004) of the sony cybershot used. Not much memory on the camera itself but memory cards are easy (and cheap) to find online. All in all, I love this camera. It has some cool features on it, and the LCD screen is large and clear. The pictures come up clear on the computer too, but I haven't printed any yet."

"This is great camera for an amature photographer. I have to say that it's bigest plus point is it's super steady shot. I compared it with H10, H50 and some other canon cameras, but none of them gave similar steady shot as this one. This camera also has a lot of auto settings, so whenever you want to take a picture, it is always tries to take best photo. The picture quality is decent, low light pictures are not so great and becomes grainy. However the steady shot makes sure that you get good picture in low light. The video quality is also decent, but you can not compare it with camcorders.. The Only Cons of this camera are their manual controls. You can not select the shutter speed. Even automatically it is upto 1 second, so you can not get good photographs of landscape in night, as flash will not reach there.. Also you can only control flash in 3-4 modes, and rest of the modes does not allow you to use flash.. All in all it is decent point and shoot camera, and I would recommend this to an amature photographer"

"I have always been a faithful Fuji camera owner, but when I could not find a new Fuji with the same menu as my previous one, I made a switch to a Nikon Cool Pics. What a major mistake.The nikon was the worst camera, hands down that I have ever owned. After being so frustrated with the quality of pictures over and over again, I finally returned it and purchased the Sony 8.1megapixels. Wow....what a wonderful camera. Perfect size, very easy to use and understand with simple menus and the picture quality is truly out of this world. Another great feature was the high ISO 3200 which allows great photos in low light places, to be taken without flash. This camera takes wonderful "action" shots in low light as well. This camera "ROCKS" and I would recommend to everyone who likes great pictures! This camera left me speechless!"

"This is a great camera. I researched alot of cameras before I chose this one. I was all set to buy a Kodak Easy Share. Then I started reading reviews & checking other cameras. Glad I did. I am VERY PLEASED with my purchase and Best Buy was very easy to work with. If you want an easy camera that takes great pictures, this is it. It has alot of features that I would probably never/hardly use, but they are fun to try. Of course I tried the smile feature & you REALLY have to have a great BIG smile before it will recognize it. Thank you for a great camera."
