What's not so great: Keypad was terrible.
This product was mediocre at best. Had to redial numbers and the receiver died without dropping it or damage.

What's not so great: see review
The dial buttons stick and I get a buzzing sound on one line. Had the phone company out many times and they finally proved that it was the phone!
Looking for another phone...

What's great about it: good display
What's not so great: Keys stick
In less than 4 months the number "9" started sticking and eventually would not UNSTICK!!! COuld no longer use the phone, I don't care how you pay for a item it should last longer than 4 months!! Extremely Unhappy with AT&T.

Please do NOT waste your money. I bought this phone since there doesn't seem to be many choices for landline phones and I needed this for work. I have had the same problem as other customers where the handset is so light - my phone line is left open often.
Not only that, it seems to have a mind of it's own. Sometimes when I am on the headset option, the headset light on the phone will click off. The line is still open and the phone did not hang up, the light will just turn off by itself and I have to hit "Speaker" and then hit "Headset" again to turn it back on.

What's great about it: Easy dialing
What's not so great: Phone does not last
This phone is a waste of money or any AT&T phones for that matter. I used to have the 992 model and it worked great for 3 years until the buttons started sticking, long pause when dialing. It's usually the numbers 7,8,9 would get hang up. Bought the 993 model brand new and it's doing the same thing. This one will go down the recycling bin. Thumbs down to AT&T!!

What's great about it: You can use it as a telephone.
What's not so great: Caller ID screen is difficult to read.
Must hold the phone up to try to read Caller ID, A flashlight helps. Not an easy to use phone if you want to quickly see who is calling. LCD screen backlight helps if the room is dark, but not during daylight hours. Doesn't help at all. With two large windows three feet from phone, and a lamp nearby, I still can't read the Caller ID - and I have excellent vision. I upgraded this phone from the previous version, thinking Caller ID viewing would be better. Wrong! Try two other phones offered by Best Buy: GE30385EE1 or the VTech TL86109. Both have Caller ID screens that are large, tilt, and are easy to read from a distance.

I love the phone and it is a good value.
The phone was easy to set up. I like the large display window but it needs better contrast to see the caller id info.
The handset is excellent sound quality but the speakerphone was a bit fuzzy and not clear sound.
I get an electronic hum when I have the phone sitting on top of a scanner and right next to my PC. I with the phone had an electronic filter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Nothing that I can think of
I was going to purchase a much more expensive two line phone before I found this one. I'm glad I saved my money because this phone is a gem! Not only is it functional, but it looks great, too! I just tossed a Panasonic two line because people were complaining that they couldn't hear me on it. This phone, the At&T 2 line with Caller ID /Caller ID Waiting, is crystal clear! The speaker phone works great, the display looks great and I love the two line feature. When a line is in use, the red light comes on. When you place someone on hold, the light for the respective line flashes. Very professional looking. I've used all kinds of high end phones (Avaya, Lucent, etc) thoroughout my career, but now that I'm my own boss/ a small business owner, it's important for me to have reliable phone equipment at an affordable price. I can't afford Avaya or the other big names, but I'm just as happy with this phone. If I close my eyes while on a call, I would swear that I was on a high end unit. Get this phone.. You won't be sorry!

What's great about it: Ease of use, good sound. An all round excellent phone. Would buy another.
What's not so great: Phone is easy to dislodge from the cradle it sits in.
This is an excellent phone. Easy to use, clear sound, good digital readout. (We had to return the first one we ordered from Amazon because the LCD screen didn't work. We ended up ordering this phone online from Best Buy and doing a store pickup, which is GREAT!). The only complaint I would have is that the cradle rest for the phone to sit in is not deep enough. It is too easy for the phone to get dislodged. Other than that, it is an excellent phone.

What's great about it: simple set-up & operation
What's not so great: dial buttons seem to stick often
this is a great phone for the money...it really is. My one complaint is that the dial buttons seem to stick - no set pattern, various buttons do stick and its annoying! But...a darn good phone for the money...buy it!!!!

What's not so great: The keys have a tendency to stick-down,, way bad news.
Don't buy this one, the key pad is bad news, at least once a day, while dialing out, the number nine will stick down- only way to remedy is unplug the power.

What's great about it: Awesome solution for my telecommuting days at home. I use the two line capabilities with my VOIP service.
What's not so great: I wish that I could tilt the LCD screen up so that I could see it more easily from where I have it on my desk.
I would recommend this phone to anyone looking for an inexpensive solution for their home office.

I love the product. It is easy to use, allows me to connect a fax machine to line 2 . I can use line 1 an fax at the same time, or use line 2 while I am faxing; can use other line when one is in use.

What's great about it: Great Value and Sound Quality
My Panasonic of 8 years started failing (sound quality), so I replaced it with another Panasonic 2-line phone from Best Buy with DEC for $179.99. Starting with the first call, people were telling me the sound quality was terrible when using the speaker phone, which I use often. Lots of breaking up, so the people I was calling couldn't understand what I was saying. I boxed it back up after 1-day and ordered this ATT 933. People are now telling me the sound quality is great, as a matter of fact much better than ever before. I like the headset port on the base, which the Panasonic systems didn't have, but the quality is so good on the speaker phone, that I really don't need a headset. I am very impressed, especially for a phone that is 1/3 the cost of the Panasonic. More expensive isn't always synonymous with better.
