What's great about it: I love that it's small but not tiny. .
What's not so great: nothing so far
"I love this mp3 player. I use it when I walk, it makes the time fly. I like that even I can read the display (I'm of an age that I need reading glasses) without glasses. Although I have downloaded music I use the FM radio most, so I'm glad it has it. The size is just right, small but not tiny. Fits nicely in my shirt pocket. The sound quality is great, even on the FM station. I would buy this again. Worth the money."

What's great about it: price
What's not so great: scratches easily, allocating files, earphone jack damages easily
"for the money you'd think that you're getting a great bargain, at least that's what i thought.then the problems began, the software's horrible, locating songs when plugged to pc is terrible, then there is the issue with the ear jack , which i cant figure out. i don't know what happened! it just would only play out of one ear, this is the major prob with it. So know i have to go out and buy the ipod, which i shoud've bought in the beginning, so this is what i get trying to save some money."

What's great about it: Color Screen, FM Radio, Good Price, Easy Use
What's not so great: Cosmetic scratches easliy
"I bought the Fuze for my 8 year old, the price was way better than an IPod. Easy to use, color screen, FM tuner, She loves to record her own voice and listen over. Great for the money. I would reccomend getting a screen protector."

What's great about it: Bright Screen, Great audio quality, Nice battery life, Convenient
What's not so great: None
"This mp3 is great for just about anything. The ability to listen to radio, and music, play videos, view pictures, and record radio and voice makes this gadget a must-have item! Music plays back with great quality, pictures look sharp on the display, and videos look nice too. The radio function is great for when you run out of songs in your library, and you can record anything you hear. Great device for fun and I'd highly reccommend it"

Great MP3 Player (4gb & 8gb)

What's great about it: Great value, easy to use, expandable!!
What's not so great: Potential screen scratches?
"I bought the 8gb several months ago and liked it so much I got the 4gb version a month later.
I use the 8gig for general purposes (MP3's and Podcasts) and have about 1400 songs on it without adding an additional micro sd.
I got the 4gb to use in the car (aux input) and have about 750 of my favorite songs on that one. I do have a 1gb micro card in this one, but really would not need it for the amount of music I have on it.
I do love the "expandability" with micro sd's and love the ease of use.
Do not use it for pictures or videos (I deleted the ones that came on it to get more music space). and have not used the voice recorder.
The FM radio works surprisingly well, I am 30 miles from St. Louis and can pull in most of the "major" stations from there.
I highly recommend the Fuze product line and will likely get another if anything happens to the units I have.
I am "Apple adverse" and am sure glad Sandisk Sansa Fuze is there."

"I got this for Chrismas last year. Two months later the color started to peel off the back. So, now it's a two-toned mp3 player. It scratches very easily. It fits right into your pockets. I wish it had more features, like having one of your pictures as your wallpaper. You can only do slide shows and view you pictures."

What's not so great: accessories - not too many cases to choose from.
"Purchased an 8 gb when they first came out and returned because I was just not comfortable with something other than an ipod. Gave the 4gb a chance and have loved it since. The video takes an extra step, but it works just fine. Rhapsody to Go is great as well. My screen is in new condition after about a year or more. I purchased a case with it and works just fine keeping it clean nad scratch resistant. FM radio included on the item adds a nice touch when you just want to catch up on the news."

What's not so great: not compatible with i-tunes
"I really like the Sansa-it looks great and is simple to use. I did have my son download the music for me-he was a little disappointed that it was not compatible with i-tunes but didn't seem to have much trouble downloading music to the player. Navigating through the menu is really easy. The price is much better than an ipod and when I purchased mine I also got a free $15 Napster card for music downloads. So far it has been great-I have had it for about one month now. You can even expand the memory with a micro SD card. Using that was a super simple way to add music & pictures. I have not yet tried to load video."

"I use this player for my car only. The instructions are slim, but if you plug into your computer, and use Vista, Windows Media it is super simple to load songs from CDs. I never use the soft ware it comes with, just use what you have in Windows, and it will work great. My car is new, so it comes with the option to just plug and play, but it is worth buying one for the car only. Sound is really good coming from the speakers. I love it."

"Got this 3 months ago and loved it - until the wheel stuck. At first I could turn it with two fingers. Then it finally wouldn't turn it all. Apparently this is a common problem with the Fuze.
Don't buy - you'll best wasting your money."

"I have used several different brands of mp3 players and this is my personal favorite, Sony volume too low. Zune has program issues. i pod has no fm. the sound isnt the best but good headphones seems to take care of that. What makes this player stand out is the memory expansion. THe feel of this player is very solid. highly reccomend this player."

Capable, Less Expensive Alternative to iPods

"This product is an excellent alternative to getting an iPod. It has all the features I was looking for: great sound, good storage, can accept multiple file formats without needing a conversion (unlike iPods), and has a great price (i got it on sale for $10 off, making it an even better deal).
Its not totally perfect. For instance, I found there to be a lack of documentation that shipped with the item. There's no manual and I found the included cd to be useless. There is an audiobook function, but it only excepts the audiobook format (seems obvious, but they don't tell you that!). If your audiobook is in .mp3 format you need to use the normal music function to listen to it. This was only solved after I searched online for my issue. While I found my answer more or less right away, it's annoying that I needed to troubleshoot right out of the gate. Also, since you create playlists through Windows Media Player you can get stuck with some funky coversions, and if you don't normally use that player you're stuck entering all of your song information in a new player just to get a decent playlist.
I wouldn't let those minor issues get in the way or buying this product. I love it for my main purpose (listening to audiobooks on a long daily commute) and wouldn't trade it for an iPod even if you paid me."

What's great about it: Darn Near Everything
What's not so great: Fuzes Ocassionally have a Freezing Problem, Scratches Easily
"First off let me say I had this Fuze for a year and only got the 8GB to Upgrade Space this one still works great and I gave it to my mom. This Sansa had 1 slight freezing issue in 1 year and I used it for about 4 hours a day. The battery life is great IMO as long as you have it's setting adjusted accordingly. Using it along with the Sansa Media converter you can get really nice quality video playback as well. They are so easy to use I've never once even peeked at the manual. The only real con would be the easy scratching on the player's screen. I'd suggest to anyone buying a Sansa that you get a clear protective sticker made for MP3 players or small cameras.
The Color on these pictures is really off from what you get, This one is a Gorgeous Deep Metallic Blue and the Silver is a nice Dark Silver (See Reference Photos of Nail Polishes that are very close in color)"

"This is a great product that I can reccomend to everybody. It has a large capacity and durability for the price. The only downside is the somewhat slow transfer time (which was only really noticable when I first put all of my songs on it at once) and the fact that photos & video need to be converted using their software (no drag and drop for photos/video)."

"After tossing my LAST Sansa e260, (I went through 3 of them in 3 years). I was kinda scared to purchase another product from them..NOT Best Buy..they've always been great. But a Sansa product. Since I already had Rhapsody it was an easy swap. This has more features than the e260 in a smaller package and seems to sound better. I've loaded some tracks from Rhapsody, and some from my Windows Media Player, all with ease. I'm just praying that the Fuze doesn't have all the problems the e260 had. So far it's been flawless. Overall, I have a much better feeling about the "Fuze" right out of the box. These things are "life support" while working in the yard or exercising. The others I had were not abused in any way but they DID get used alot...I mean ALOT..."
