What's great about it: Simple yet attractive menu, Clear screen, Slim body
What's not so great: Must use Sansa Media Converter for loading videos... see below

"I bought two of these for my boys this Christmas. They were determined to get iPod Nanos, but after seeing this online they quickly changed their minds. So many people are sold on the iPod monopoly and fail to recognize that there are other music players that are just as functional and fun, yet are not proprietary. After playing with this for a couple of weeks, I've found it to be excellent quality and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. The only apparent weakness, if it must be labeled such, is that you have to use the Sansa Media Converter for loading videos onto the player. Plenty of media converters are able give you the right size & file type, but they won't transfer to the Fuze. However, after installing the Sansa Media Converter software, I found it really easy to use and ripping to the Fuze is virtually automatic. The process is not a problem at all... there just needs to be a little more clarity that this is the ONLY way to get videos onto your Fuze.

Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and would highly recommend this product to you!"

What's great about it: its easy,very bright screen,
What's not so great: the thing thats not so great is that you arent able to download games onto it =-( and hard to download movies

"its so easy, holds manymany songs bright screen, children just over 6years of age i bet would easily be able to use one easy to download music,easy to download pictures, movies are a little harder to download though,i like the extra space to hold movies/music/pictures and ive only had it for 2 days i promise if you get this mp3 you will be satisfied no matter if its 2 gig 4 gig 8 gig all are great purchases. ''trust me'' =-)"

"I just got the Sansa Fuze 4GB MP3 player for Christmas and it is amazing! It seems pretty durable. It comes with expandable memory (micro SD), which I like, because I'm constantly expanding my music libray. It comes with FM radio and even a voice recorder! The screen doesn't seem to scratch and the player itself looks really nice (I have the black one). The menu is very easy to navigate with the wheel, which is very similar to the Ipod's click wheel. The head phones that come with it are good, but I plan on buying some better ones. It even comes with a nice little case. I didn't install the CD that comes with it, I just simply use Windows Media Player, which it works very well with. If you want to put vidoes on it you're going to need the Sansa Media Converter software. I believe it is on the disc that comes with it, but I simply downloaded from their website. Overall this is a great MP3 player and I would recommend it to anyone looking for one."

"Small item but powerful. It is easy to understand easy to download music, pics, videos, etc. This item comes with a 30 day free trial Rhapsody from best buy which is great. I bought this item in blue and it is nice in size.

"I have owned this MP3 player for about 2 months and love it. I have never owned an MP3 player before, even though I knew about them for years. This one is very easy to figure out, I didn't even read the instructions, just played with it for a few hours and went into every menu. I don't know what the user previous said there isn't a EQ, it's under the Music EQ then select custom. There is only 5 channels to set but better than just selecting Rock or Funk ect. I like the fact there is a radio, and microphone for keeping your own messages. The screen is a little small, but I didn't want a TV! it's a MP3 player not a 13inch TV. I did almost fill up the 4 GB with 475 songs, so I bought an 8GB memory card and expanded. Both my wife and I are very happy with the purchase and cant believe we did nothing but listen to the radio before. Now we just put on one of our playlists and get hours of listening to our favorite music commercial free."

"This is a great mp3 player. It has music, pictures, video, settings, recording and rhapsody channels, not to mention fm radio. This mp3 has clear sound, nice picture quality and ecceptional video quality. however this mp3 does not have a very large screen and it only does not have bass selection, you can only choose the theme(Hip hop, jazz, classicle, rock, etc)"

"I got this for my birthday and it is awesome. If you compare it to other brand name mp3 players with 4GB it is better or atleast equal. The menus are easy to view and navigate and the downloading is easy also. Nice sound, nice picture, videos, and it has a micro sd slot for more memory."

"This MP3 player was purchased for my 10 yr old daughter. We were really surprised to see the clarity of the pictures that were downloaded as well as the definition in sound.

I love this product and so does my 10yr old daughter. Its great if you do not want to spend a fortune for a youth. Highly recommend this product."

"This was the first mp3 for me and I found this to be full featured. I was particularly drawn to this because of the voice recorder which my current cell phone no longer has. Although I have had a few skips, it is not at all annoying. Battery life is good, but because it is not replaceable, I recommend getting the extended service contract, just to play it safe. Also be sure, as with any digital device, to have a full backup on your pc, in case you lose this or it has to be replaced. You will have to buy your own case/arm band/holster and an available universal fm transmitter and car charger is very handy. I have had this for a month now and have not been disappointed."

The little MP3 player that could 07/21/2008

What's great about it: SanDisk media converter works great for this MP3 player!
What's not so great: Wish I got the 8GB version.

"I love the fact I can add a MicroSDHC card to expand the storage. Video is not bad on this player in fact it is great. I download episodes of Tekzilla and DL.TV and it plays them perfectly. I bought this and have had no problems with it at all. The audio playback is great. If you have software to encode audio files to MP3pro, this MP3 player will play them and they sound great, file size is smaller this way. I have 400+ songs in the MP3pro format and still have room for several podcast and my webtv shows with just the 4GB. Way to go SanDisk!!"

What's great about it: Looks,sound quality,FM,recorder,expandable memory
What's not so great: Looks (it seems like an iPod),FM tuner is sensitive

"I bought this mp3 player to replace my broken PSP while it's being repaired by sony and I am satisfied.
I have bought mp3 players from sandisk and I had some bad experience from one of them (sansa view 8GB) but anyway lets focus with this one as usual sandisk got a lot of features in this tiny mp3 player, It has FM tuner and Voice recorder wich iPod doesnt have and the expandable memory that makes it a bomb in terms of features. Looks? It looks good although they immitated iPod's look its still good( by the way the picture that you see in real life its a bit darker than that but its nicer)
I just hope that they made the look unuiqe you know the one that if you see it you'll know its the sansa Fuze.

Cons.

FM tuner, For me its too sensitive coz just a lil bit of a movement the signal will be affected wether it'll be better or worst.

The looks just as I said It looks like and iPod.
And the vedio converter is not that of a good converter( you can download the converter at www.sandisk.com/support/sansa)
Overall its a pretty good mp3 player I'll be using this one even I get my PSP back :P"
