What's great about it: you can view photos,music,video,voice recorder,FM radio on this sandisk mp3 player.
What's not so great: the screen scratch easily..so be carefull
"i purchased this sandisk fuze 4gb at bestbuy for $59 original $69 so that a nice discount there,i got home open it and i was delighted that i made a right choice,i was about to go with ipod nano coz it's got camcorder build-in but i heard that if you record a video then battery run out very fast so i decided to drop the nano,i got a digital camera CANON SD870i to record video with 3" lcd better view though.this sandisk FUZE with same futures and very easy to load music and song by window media player and only half price compare to other brand out there and you can stock more memory by using SD card on the left side slot.i would reccomment this product to anyone who want a great mp3 player easy to load music,photo etc etc and cheap price and it's look cool too...you can not go wrong with this little babe,trust me all mp3 lover!"

Great mp3 player for any one

What's great about it: It's universal, easy to use and great price
What's not so great: The "on" switch is tricky
"This mp3 player is the best one out there. My kids have had an ipod and a zune, and in my opinion this is far better than either one of them!! This one is so universal you can just use windows media player and quickly add songs in seconds. Can't beat the price either. The design is very nice looking too.
If I had to pick a negative point, it would be the on/off switch. It is a little on the small side and so if you have big fingers or you don't have fingernails it might be a little tricky to turn on.
Bottom line is that this is a great mp3 player for anybody.
(oh yeah... the color of the player in the picture on the website is not the color of red in person. It is more of a dark red.)"

What's great about it: Nice size, easy to operate. Screen is large enough to see photos. Price is right
What's not so great: Cannot back up a few bars to repeat a section of a song.
"This is overall a great device. The one disappointment for me was that I cannot back up a few bars on a piece of music. I use it to learn choral music and you often need to go over a a specific section of a song, may only 6 or 8 bars. The Fuze will not do it unless I am missing something. It jumps back to the start or to the next song. Big disappointment for me.
If you don't care about this, you can't beat this player."

What's not so great: size too small-ain't that the truth!
"I as dissappointed in the size once I received it. The specs never mentioned how tiny it was. It's great for a child, but not an adult with normal size hands.
Mfg should mention overall size dimension in product details rather than just showing pictures of it next to a credit card."

What's not so great: didn't work
"I bought 2 online. One was for 6 yr old granddaugther in KC. Did not work, father worked with it for about 6 days, then had to run to another store to buy another one. The original one would have to be sent back East to replace and return, with a 6 yr old....you can do that. They want it to now.
The 2nd one is in the other end of Ks, so far no bad reports."

What's great about it: Great price for the average user. Easy to download songs onto the Sansa and the battery seems to have a long charge.
What's not so great: The only negative is that I have to recharge through my laptop which is not always out for use. Not a big deal though.
"I wanted a cheaper MP3 player because I'm not just not that into electronics but wanted to be able to load songs and have access to FM radio for the gym. I have had my Sansa for almost six weeks and so far no complaints at all. Would definitely recommend it to others."

"Purchased one of these for each of my 5 granddaughters. Loading music was reasonably simple once I got the hang of the Windows Media Player interface, but I had to add some software to my computer to be able to load photos and videos. "Sansa Media Converter" I think. Had to search the internet to discover this. However once I got this software loaded adding photos and videos was even simplier than adding the music. I bought mine online Black Friday and got a great price."

What's not so great: battery wouldn't charge, even when plugged in overnight
"I purchased this item as an early Christmas gift. When I first saw it, I thought it was exactly what I was looking for, but I was very wrong. I plugged in the device to charge as directed, and left it plugged in overnight. The battery had less life on it after charging, then before! Needless to say, it would not let me download files while it was charging, so I did not even get a chance to see how user friendly it is. Apparently it is not user friendly at all ! I am going to try another brand of MP3 player, if that doesn't work, I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get an I-POD, which I really don't want to do."

What's great about it: Long lasting battery charge, easy to load songs
What's not so great: the internals of headphone jack stops working and you have to dump it very soon.
"I have had 3 Sansa MP3 players and all presented the same problem: suddenly, the internal part of the headphone jack does not hold contact with the plug, and only one channel works, or none, unless you hold it down with your hand. Other people have had the same problem with Sansa products. A Google search will reveal that to you. II will never buy another again. Cheap they are, but ..."

"I never had a mp3 player before and never knew where nor how to download music . I bought this on my birthday just to enjoy music at a low price which mean other than an ipod , took it home , turned it on and i couldn't get my hand off the scrolling wheel (fun ) . And less then 5 mins i learned how to put music on my player . So if your looking for a good music / video player this might be it .

What's great about it: Upgradeable microSD card
What's not so great: A little bit trickie to manipulate data
"Well, I tried this player just after reading about the nice specs, and reviews. It replaced a 1gb sony walkman that was not big enough anymore. Also purchased a 4gb microSD card that turned it into a huge mp3 player. Everything ok, BUT, is not as easy to work with as the sony. You cannot play music by folder, you have to create playlists instead. And is not windows XP friendly, but works really great with vista. Not a big problem, just a little bit more work. And as you can upgrade the microSD card, it'll be good forever, so far one year and still kicking. Another little problem, the screen is really easy to scratch, you have to use film to cover it. Another good thing, the player has been soaked twice, but after drying out it worked flawlessly. I'm a lucky guy."
