Beware of the Satina 10/15/2008

What's great about it: good quality, good features
What's not so great: Satina too dark once you get it home

"Only complaint is the Satina finish. It does work great on those fingerprints, but beware. Next to our stainless stove, it's much darker. Wife was not happy about this one.
It didn't look that bad in the store until we got it delivered and sat it next to the stove.
They don't make a satina (or "cleansteel" from GE) in any other appliances to my knowledge, so it won't match.
If you don't care about the difference, then the satina is great.
So, the only complaint is about the finish. Other than that, it was fine. We exchanged it for the true stainless version of the same fridge for $100 bucks more or so.
Bestbuy let us keep the satina til the new one arrived. Did have to pay $30 or so to have the new one shipped, so I paid delivery twice."

What's great about it: The satina finish and LOTS of room!
What's not so great: None that I have found.

"I love this KitchenAid refrigerator! It is easy to keep clean (fingerprints do NOT show) and beautiful. The icemaker is in the door allowing for more than enough room in the freezer. The icemaker also makes ice super-fast and the bin is easily removed to allow us to fill up a cooler quickly. I have a family of 4 and this fridge has plenty of room with 2 large drawers and a 3rd, smaller deli drawer. Both the fridge and freezer have sliding shelves and plenty of room in the door for storage. I highly recommend this product--you will love it!"

What's great about it: energy efficient, lots of room
What's not so great: Wair for delivery

"3 to 4 weeks after buying it, It was finally delivered. A bit noisy when it first started but silent now( the manual says it may be noisy). Great system the wife loves it and wants matching range, dish washer and micro wave."

Wow! My refrigerator is super. 04/22/2008

What's great about it: The ice maker is in the door, lots of freezer room.
What's not so great: I haven't found any yet.

"The side by side Whirlpool 25.3 cu. ft. refrigerator has the Satina stainless-look which leave no fingerprints. But the best feature is the ice maker is on the door, leaving plenty of room for frozen foods. It is an Energy Star product which will definitely save me money over the refrigerator I had purchased 7 years ago. I can now enjoy the convenience of water and ice on the outside with the water-filtration-replacement indicator light as an added bonus. I certainly do recommend this appliance to others."
