What's great about it: Meets most expectations
What's not so great: A few glitches that can be overlooked

"I would really give it 4.5-4.75 stars, because no game is perfect. Anyway, this is a very solid sequel to a very good game. There are some issues with slow loading (aside from the load screens sometimes the processor cant keep up with the user), texture popping, and some other in-game issues that deal with missions and real estate. These shortcomings are easily overlooked considering the vast amount of great things there are in this game, as it introduces a more managerial aspect to your character and assets that was absent in the first. The Fable franchise is a nice departure from other adventure RPGs that have been doing the same thing for the past decade, and its quite nice to know that the game is marketed to the 20-35 year old demographic. My only other gripe in the game is that the jobs are quite tedious and boring, except for the jobs involving mission (i.e bounty hunter)."

"Better game than the 1st. Has a lot more charater chioces. Like good vs. evil, pure vs corrupt. The dog is an interesting new addition. Wished it was in the 1st Fable. Easy learning curve."

What's great about it: Funny, customization, online gameplay
What's not so great: Graphical glitches, online gameplay

"Once again, like the first Fable, this game falls short of what it promised. The story, in my opinion, is about the same quality as the last once. Exceeds it in some areas and falls short in others. The graphics took a step up. There is a much higher level of detail and the span of what you can see and travel to in a given area without a load screen is an improvement. Load times are still long, but less frequent. Customization is greater, but only so much in that you can color your hair and clothing. The choices aren't that great. What was promised in customizing your home falls short of what was expected. You can switch out your stuff, but moving it or taking it out altogether is a different matter. You would think the guy responsible for Black & White and Populous would understand the depth desired with customization in a next-gen game. Graphical glitches abound, such as your dog hovering in mid-air for no reason or people sitting down at a table but instead sitting on an invisible chair and transporting their drinks from table to hand instantly. Let's not even begin on the high frequency of system freezes. Save often! Online gameplay is a delight, talking with friends as you play, but when you transport to their world you would expect to use your character right? Wrong. Even online gameplay wasn't available until a patch was released. Not included with the game when you promised it was done? In so many ways this game falls short. The biggest let down was the collector's edition becoming not so collectible. It's still a fun game, though. But with Fallout 3 just days away, Gears soon after it, and other great games like Dead Space, Left 4 Dead, Mirror's Edge, and Prince of Persia out or on their way, spending $70 on this might be a waste of your money. Rent it, buy it later, but it's hard to recommend it at this price, what you get for it, and the other better games you could be playing instead."

What's great about it: Well it is adventure RPG
What's not so great: i didn't get what i was suposed to get

"well game is not realy better or worse from the first one ... it feels the same and still kinda have weird controls ,and not many upgrades and wepons ... but there is so much other stuff in the game so i can understand how the game is lacking in some thnigs ....it would take few more years to actualy complete game like this to satisfy everyone ,and make it perfect...
any how bigest let down was that i didn't get the faith cards and hobe figure that they said you get when you pre-order the special edition ...
i still have to return in best-buy and see what is the deal with that? might as well get regular edition...?"

What's great about it: Great storyline

"OK tell me why did they have to change the will set up! me as a a will user getting demoted to like 8 spells versus all the other ones the first one had and the lag time on the spells that is ridiculous!!!! i rather have a mana bar then lag time!!! the gameplay serious serious downgrade you have to pay for stuff that came standard in the first one! like the zoom block the roll are you serious they couldnt figure out better upgrades!!! the storyline was decent but still was lacking it was not captivating like the first one seriously the biggest waist of time i am even upset i waited for it!"

What's great about it: Great Graphics and story and to many to list.
What's not so great: Absolutely None.

"I have been waiting for this game for almost two years. But I can now tell you that it was more than worth waiting for. The co-op mode is great because me and my wife love playing video games together. This is one of the best games I think I have Ever played!!! Of Course the original Fable was awesome to but nothing Compared to this one."

What's great about it: Fully immersive world, 2-player Co-op on/offline
What's not so great: Very similar to Fable 1, may be repetitive

"Fable 2 seems to be a greatly improved version of Fable 1, the story is longer, more side quests have been added, combat is less repetitive with context sensitivity, more clothes/armor/weapons, more ways to alter your characters appearance, you can now be a female hero, online co-op, offline pick -up and play co-op, download-able content, and a loyal dog to keep you company on your adventures.
The creator has reported that you would need 100 million+ gold in order to purchase 1 of everything in the game.
Only the similarities to Fable could possibly bring the game down, but all sequels suffer from this and so it shouldn't be held against the game."

What's great about it: Advanced Decision Making System, RPG Style Character Selection, Live Co-Op
What's not so great: Price, Not an action based game.

"If you liked Mass Effect, Fable 1, Zelda, or Final Fantasy, you should be looking forward to Fable II.

Fable 2 builds on the framework of Fable 1 with its unique decision making system of Good vs. Bad and the consequences that come with every decision. Fable 2 has Upgraded and enlarged the world of Fable 1 and moved the storyline 500 years into the future after Fable 1.

Fable II balances several different types of combat styles like magic, weapons, corruption and sword fighting. To make this system more manageable the designers have incorporated a one button combat system that allows you to use the thumbstick and the environment to determine how you will fight.

Fable II really is the next step in RPG and decision making games. It will be released in October of 2008."

What's great about it: xbox live co-op if you don't have xbox live and loved fable1 you are gunna miss out on the best xbox live game ever!!
What's not so great: if you dont pre-order quick there will be none left for you!

"I loved the first fable! I had full streangth,health,physique,magika power, and everything else. My record is game beaten in 8 hours 53 min. Fable 2 will all sorts of new things like you get a dog, guns (which i am not happy about because i like the old days) but if they make the game better than the first then i will not have a problem with it. by the way anoth great game to buy is assasins creed sorry fable fans but it is amazing!"

What's great about it: Well the Pros would be that it is the best game thats coming out ever on the planet

"Well lets see... fable 1 was a pretty awesome game expect it was too short and you had to follow paths to go everywhere... fable 2 on the other hand should be much longer with more in depth quests and some videos showed you don't have to follow paths anything, you can hop over fences and what not. HOUGHGHG i'm getting this game the minute it comes out and playing it till i pass out! woohooo"
