we bought this dishwasher to replace our older model that was a loud dishwasher. this one is NOT quiet. 2nd, if it affects you to bend over close to the ground or if you are a very tall person, consider this: this is a tall tub dishwasher. this translates into putting your dishes into the rack close to the ground unlike other model dishwashers. the benefit is that it will accommodate large dishes in the bottom rack (unfortunately, we were not able to notice this at the store because this model was stacked on the top row). 3rd, the silverware baskets (there are 2) have "lids" that snap into place rather than being on hinges. so, when you dont want to the lids you have to find a place to store them. i'm also wondering how long the "snaps" will last after long term use. the plus on these baskets is that they can be locked together to form a traditional basket or separated and moved throughout the dishwasher to make use of space with lots of dishes. happy hunting!
What's great about it: nice looking, holds lots of dishes and large ones too
What's not so great: NOT quiet

Cleans great - better than our 12 yr old Maytag that it replaced.
Quiet - quieter than our 12 yr old Maytag that it replaced.
Easy to use - just load it & press one button - Have not tried the steam or any other washing options.

New dishwasher smell - I'm sure that will disappear in a month - we've only had it for 2 weeks
What's great about it: cleans great, quiet, & easy to use
What's not so great: new dishwasher smell when cleaning dishes
