What's great about it: I bought this onsale for $127
What's not so great: Speaker wires could be longer

"I have a separate Receiver from Insignia and matched it up to the Insignia® 5.1-Channel Home Theater Speaker System. Wow! What a pleasant surprise. for sound quality , ease of setup and compatability to my stuff.

I used a pair of 36' Stereo Speakers as Left and Front speakers then used all the rest of the speakers to create a 6.1 system (had 1 pair satellite speaker). The Sound is EXCELLENT and this works with my Panasonic Plasma, Playstation 3, DVD and VCR. The insignia receiver (Insignia™-600W 6-Ch. A/V Home Theater Receiver) even works as a AM FM Tuner. Highly recommend both if you want a great surround system and do not want to kill your budget!."

What's great about it: great sound out of alittle speaker system.

"I received these as a early x-mas gift.I have them hooked up to a yamaha rxv663 receiver and a sony blu-ray s350 player.The movies are running at true dolby hd and the sound is great.I also have them running with the stock speaker wire.They sound good can't wait until I run them with monster cable wire.They should sound better then stock wires.The package is worth the money.They are replacing a set of ar speakers.The sub sounds great when set-up right through the receiver.The rooms rattle with this sub.As I said before you can't go wrong with this little speaker system.I'am impress and that is hard to do with me.I hope you enjoy them as i am."

What's great about it: High Quality build and sound for price point, extreme value, lots of features on sub woofer
What's not so great: nothing at its price point

"I originally purchased these intending for them to be a cheap fill in until I found better speakers. When I got them home I was immediate impressed with the build. I expected something cheap being an "off brand". I was even more surprised to find the sub woofer is fully featured. I have never seen this before with any "Cheap" speaker sets. It has a standby mode, polarity switch, line level input level input and cross over control.

Still before I got to excited I needed to hear them in action, paired with a Sony STR-DG820 and a PS3. Blu Ray and Resistance 2 sound incredible. (I'm using another pair of Insignia Bookshelfs for front left and right for 7.1 sound)

These are certainly not the best speakers out there, but they are of an incredible value for the price. Do not hesitate to pick these up if your looking for a value budget set of speakers. you will not be disappointed"

"For the price you will find it hard to match this 5.1. system. The sub works great, nice to have the line-in feature. Using in a game room. Like the keyhole feature to hang on the wall, eliminating the need for stands. Certainly not like the NHT's but for under $200.00 what more can you ask for. It comes with a manual and speaker wires."

What's great about it: Great sound, sounds great with bluray on my insignia reciever!
What's not so great: the subwoofer didnt connect properly at first. but I believe it was user error haha

"I have these speakers with in by bedroom hooked up with monster speaker wires to my Insignia 500w reciever, and the sound quality is excellent. and let me tell you the benefits of this speakers!

Quiet or loud, they have an excellent quality to them.

The subwoofer sounds excellent with many different ranges of use

All in all? A great buy for what I was doing with it. Everyone wants to come into my bedroom instead of the living room to watch movies now!!!"
