What's great about it: Easy to set up What's not so great: nothing so far
"I had it just for a day and im in love with it. It's perfect, exactly what i wanted and more. I did not make a video yet. But i am pleased with it so far. It is easy to set up, can take pics and videos, email them and much more. Plus, there's a lot of nice animations if you dont want people to look at you. I could play with my webcam all day. If you are stuck between this or another one, get this one even though it might be a little more money...its worth it!"

"I purchased this camera for use with msn,yahoo messenger to make video calls to distant friends and family. It was simple to set up and the quality of the images is excellent. It is well made and I also like the adjustable mount which allows it to be easily attached on any desktop monitor, laptop screen or flat surface. The camera direction is very easy to adjust and the glass lens and retractable lens cover ensure that this web cam will last for years. It is wonderful to be able to speak "face to face" across the miles. I would highly recommend this product!"

"As this was my first webcam, it was wonderful. works well, and easy. But you can become easily confused if you accidentially dont turn on audio in a video, or accidently mute it without even noiticing. I was hoping for something where i could maybe get voice changing technology, but this camera came with more cool effects instead, such as avatars, face accessories, fun filters, and face masks. For a first time user of a webcam, this webcam is great!"

What's great about it: Easy, quick set up, easy to use for novice, quality of picture is good even at full screen What's not so great: Haven't foundanything yet.
"This was our first web cam. We looked at several and looked at reviews. We had wanted to spend less than $50.00 but found that those in that price range did not offer what we wanted nor did they have the imige quality we were looking for. This happened to be on sale and for about half again as much we got a product that met our requirements, that was easy to set up, easy to maintin and appears to accomplish everything that it ssid it would. Although this is our first and we have limited exposure to other web cams after a week of use video phoning grandkids it is eveything we expected, and maybe a bit more."

"On video calls, the volume doesn't work. For the price of this item, I wouldn't recomend this to anyone. It takes great pictures and videos, BUT the volume isn't good. I got this as a gift, and I feel really bad that someone spent that much money on a camera that's volume doesn't even work on video calls."

"1. The Quick cam has a built in microphone. 2. The software uses the computer microphone as a default. So you will need to change the settings for the microphone to use the quick cam microphone 3. The face recognition software can detect the eyes and mouth regions. This is not advanced visual recognition; the software does not recognize mouth formations of sounds; instead the software detects movement of the mouth, face direction, an eyebrow movement; images in real time can be superimposed on the indivdual or a complete avatar representation substitutes. 4. The time lapse and motion sensing capabilities were excellent. The image quality was good. 5. The web cam does not have a wireless feature. 6. The web cam does not come with single frame to animation software."

"This Logitech QuickCam Webcam with Built-In Micrphone, is amazing! It's the best webcam that I've ever purchased! Not only is the video picture clear & crisp, the audio from the built-in microphone is clear and crisp, as well! This webcam contains Right Light technology, so it makes still and moving (video) pictures clear and bright, even in bad, dark lighting. It also contains Right Sound Technology, to drown-out any outside noise or interference, when having a conversation. With conference call capabilties, and a, "LIVE indicator light," that goes-on when the webcam is connected and LIVE ready to use; this webcam is VERY impressive, and the rolls royce of webcams! :)"
