I have wanted this pair for so long and when I got rid of the top loaders and put my new sports cars in the laundry room i was so excited. I have only one complaint...not about the washer or dryer but about the installation. They didnt hook up the steam on the dryer and after much hoopy doo, they are finally after a month coming out to fix the installation. oh make sure if you have the pedestals that they put the little red corner covers on em...they forgot the washer covers and have to do that...but this sportscar is awsome...

What's great about it: A lot of good features
What's not so great: Shuts off before load is completely dry at times
I do love this dryer. I have a couple complaints but overall I am happy with the purchase. My two complaints are: Comforters and Sheets tend to ball up and I have to reposition them several times throughout the drying process. When using the settings the dryer will shut off before all the clothes are dry if some of them are dry. I have to remove the dry clothes and start the cycle again. But overall I am extremely happy and would purchse this dryer again.

What's great about it: Easy to use, drys clothes fast, flexible features
What's not so great: Platinum finish scratches easily, set up is a little tricky
This is a great dryer with lots of features. We absolutely love the steam feature, especially when we have to run the refresh cycle. We have dried big dog beds, king size comforters, and large loads of laundry without any issues.
The only complaint I have is with the supplied water connector. Since you need share the cold water line with the washer, Samsung supplies the Y connector. However there was not enough clearance with the faucet knobs, so I first had to grind down the lip. When I ground it down as far I could and it still would not work, I had to resort to shutting down the water to the entire house, turn on the faucet, connect the Y connection and hoses, then turn on the water to the house. It works, but is kind of a pain.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I use this product in a summer home where I wash a lot of bedding. I can't tell you how much I dislike this machine. Bedding just rolls into a great big log and in order to get it dry I have wrestle with the bedding, untangle it and put it back in three or four times. I have had service people out and called Samsung directly and their answer was to put other laundry in with it, like towels or the like. Really!!! For a $1,500 dryer. Also, the sensor seems to stop when the first item is dryer so the only setting that really works is the timed dry cycle. So what is the point of the rest of these features? I haven't found the steam feature to work well, mostly seems to fry the clothes. I have had several different machines over the years, this is not worth it. Also, as, with the washer, these machines are extremely heavy, you cannot move them. Need service? Call Samsung, they will call an authorized dealer, and the dealer will call you back to make an appointment. I understand if prohibits part theft from dealers, but at the expense of prompt service to the end user! First visit took 3 days to set up, the second was a week! Ugh. Buyer beware!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fantastic dryer. We've been very pleased with it's performance as a basic dryer. Sales guy at BestBuy wouldn't stop talking about steam and how great it is. Not impressed with steam features. Don't really work any better than a regular dryer. Steam in the washer on the other hand is amazing.
Standard sensor dry leaves clothes damp. If you choose the more dry or very dry options, the dryer dries all the way.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This dryer delivers as advertised. It can handle huge loads with ease and really gets your clothes dry and smelling fresh. We use the steam cycle on most of our dress clothes and to refresh loads that may sat oner night. I have had this and the steam washer since June 09 and we could not be happier with our investment. It has many cycles such as sanitize, wrinkle care, and air fluff etc... I think you will enjoy this product if you choose to get it. I also would like to add that it runs very quiet.

What's great about it: Holds a ton of clothes. Wrinkle set is wonderful!
What's not so great: Time it takes to dry certain items. Display panel can't be cleared
I have owned this dryer for about one month. It holds a ton of clothes and is very quiet when running. I love the wrinkle refresh setting which puts steam into the cycle to help release the wrinkles. That feature works great!
I don't like that you can't clear out the display settings if you end a load early. I can't find anyway to clear the instrument panel. So...if you put a load in just to release the wrinkles and after 10 minutes you open the door and remove the items, there is no way to clear the remaining 10 minutes left on the cycle (the shortest cycles are 20 minutes) even if you turn the power off and then put it back on. When you run the next cycle it will shut off after 10 mionutes even if its set for 1 hour and then you will need to reset the cycle again. It is very aggravating!

What's great about it: The number of features. Steam for wrinkle relaxing
What's not so great: length of time to dry laundry
This dryer has great features, my afavorite being the steam functions that give you a quick "refresh" or "wrinkle care". I can throw something in the dryer on refresh, take a shower and by the time I'm ready to dress the clothing is ready and nearly wrinkle free. Will not work on seep set wrinkles however does work well to loose most wrinkles. Do use carefully and follow directions to use more than one item of clothing. I tried the refresh cycle with one shirt and found the shirt had several damp spots not dry when the cycle finished.
Be careful when drying items of different material weights, ie socks and t-shirts. One load of socks and t's together, the t's dry well and the socks were still quite damp.
Dryer is quiet, unless the load is off. I live on a second floor apartment and there really isn't a noise issue with the dryer.
The drying time is very extended. Can take one to two hours to complete drying and at times some clothing still damp. I do like the dryer and would not get rid of it, however just don't like to wait for such a long time to finish laundry.
Have only had the dryer for 2 days now. Did purchase the washer and dryer as a set. Have completed 10 loads of laundry. And am satisfied for the most part with the machines. My wife and i were hardcore Sony lovers for T.V. and switched to Samsung and are very happy we did that. I was very skeptical about a Samsung Dryer, b/c they are not known for this type of products. After having a lot of vibration problems with the Kenmore Elite(3 service calls in the first year). On the same linoleum floor i have had zero issues with this unit. I bought this unit in February and waited until now to make sure the unit was good. Samsung has come along way with T.V.'s, but the dryer is incredible. You have so many different settings, with (2) little boys you can imagine. The clothing never comes out over cooked or dried if you may. The steam setting is great to get wrinkle out if you left the cloths overnight in the dryer. I would highly recommend both washer and dryer combo! My only concern is the electronic keypads for setting the unit...otherwise awesome!!!!

I absolutely love this dryer! We bought this dryer after the old set that came with the house we bought 3 years ago stopped working. We were a little apprehensive about buying the set, mostly due to cost. One of the main features that we liked was the noise reduction technology. Our laundry room is located on the second floor. After reading several reviews for some of the other (and less expensive brands), one of the most common complaints we came across was the 'vibrational noise' for second story laundry rooms. We also have neighbors that use the LG brand and they confirmed that it did create a significant amount of noise due to vibration. We were actually the first people in our area to purchase this particular set, so there was no feedback available from previous owners that the sales reps at the store could provide us. I knew I wanted the steam function, namely because I absolutely hate to iron and my husband wanted something that would be of great quality for the price...and we got exactly that. I couldn't be happier with the set. It has multiple settings and the steam options are very useful! Also, be sure to invest in the pedestals. The unit would be quite low without it and it would take a toll on your low back after bending down to place items in and out of it. Probably the only thing I might argue against (and this is personal preference) is spending the extra amount on the stainless steal. Our units are in a room upstairs that most people don't see. So, unless you have a particularly strong preference of seeing a stainless steel set as opposed to the white, you may want to save those extra dollars and invest in the pedestals. All-in-all, I'm glad we didn't allow the price to deter us from purchasing this product...because it was absolutely worth every penny!!!

We bought the set and so far it's been great! The size makes large loads or large items without any difficulty. It's quiet & the steam makes things smell fresher. All the features on it are great and it does everything we want.

What's great about it: Quiet, fast, stylish appearance.
What's not so great: None
Best appliance purchase yet. The washer takes awhile to accomplish the Silvercare cycle, but it's worth it for odor control. The dryer is amazingly quick to dry; 30 minutes and a full load is wrinkle free! Love the look of the units and how absolutely quiet they are on the 2nd floor of our house. They sit outside my son's BR and he sleeps through the entire cycle!
I would recommend this to a friend!
