What's not so great: went out after 2 weeks...customer service is horrible
Used this dryer for approx 2 weeks before it quit drying. Called Samsung, repairman came. Said it was the thermostat and ignition. Ordered parts from Samsung and came back a week later. The parts he received from Samsung were broken when he opened them. Ordered parts again. A week and a half later, came back and installed. Didn't fix the problem. Samsung advised him they'd just start sending him random parts to see if anything worked as they went, because they "had no idea". (Would have been at least another two weeks just to see if the next one did.) Called Samsung to complain...they voided out the maintenance and canceled the parts in order to try and set up a swap...apparently couldn't keep working on it while trying to get the swap set up! Told the swap would take 24-48 hours to approve....took a week! Was told I could go to Best Buy and exchange for an item (any brand) equitable. Got to Best Buy (extremely helpful), but was told I'd have to pay the price difference for an equitable item (I'd gotten my original one on sale and Samsung would only issue store credit for the exact price I'd paid)! Going on six weeks now and while I furnished my home with all Samsung appliances due to previously good experiences and high CRs, I can attest that their Blue Ray players and dryers are among the worst in the industry and I certainly can't say anything good about their appliance customer service!! The same model washing machine has worked great though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Color
What's not so great: does not dry
I have had customer service on the phone nonstop with thisThey have replaced this twice and i am now returning the whole set. the only setting the gets the loads dry is the times dry.Unless it is a very small load.even the tech said the last time out here it is not getting warm enough. 4 timed cyles roughly 4 hours to dry a load of towels.That is NOT energy saving and not time saving either.Both dryers same exact problem. Over two months of hassle with this dryer.Check reveiws on the electric model too.I was going to switch to the electric one but not after reading reviews.Save yourself the hassle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i have a family of five.my boys play sports; but no worries stains are not a problem.you can prewash,steam,and refresh.WOO-HOO!

What's great about it: looks great! impressive havent used it much but enjoyed it so far
What's not so great: Have a problem with the stainless around the door of the dryer
The stainless around the door is discolored.I had it swapped out for another one.This did not solve the problem instead of solving the problem it made it worse. I got a more discolored door .I havent called best buy again nor samsung ,but I will be.There must be some problems with these doors.Other than that everything is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Washer and dryer combo with the pedestals is nice but over priced. I have the LG comparable model and performance wise they are the same but the LG has a better price. My big complaint is about Samsung's customer service. I the first dryer that I got had a defective surface on the dryer door so I called Best Buy to see about replacing just the door and they said that the whole machine had to be replaced and recommended that I call Samsung if I wanted to replace just the door. When I called Samsung I thought it was just going to be an easy swapping out of the defective door but Samsung wanted me to fax the receipt and take pictures and send them in for review and they also said that it would be a lengthy process and that I was better off having the machine exchanged through Best Buy. Installing the machines wasn't easy and now I'm looking at uninstalling and then reinstalling these machines just because of a defective surface on the dryer door. Unfortunately for me I have to uninstall the washer before I can uninstall the dryer due to the tight space there installed in. I'm not very happy with Samsung's customer service and the quality control in their manufacturing process.

I purchased this dryer with the washer on memorial Day weekend. I received a great price on it. The dryer appears to be extremely quick. I love the "My Cycle" feature. So quick and easy. The only "issue" I had was the propane conversion kit. No one appeared to know anything about it. I actually had to track it down myself and get it installed. For future reference the conversion kit for this machine is compatible with Maytag and Samsung uses it instead of manufacturing their own.
I would recommend this to a friend!

and I am very happy with my purchase as of today I have not had any problems with my purchase. Very quiet very easy to operate, leaves clothes very clean.
