What's great about it: Online Multiplayer!!!!/Dont be a chump....enter Prestige mode!!!!!
What's not so great: Single player is too short but very sweet.

"Only get this game for the online multiplayer. the single player is way to short. Trust me, you will hate this game for how addictive it is.....you wont ever want to touch your other games again. prestige mode is so simple but it's genious!!!!

Also the Game of the Year edition is nothing special....they no longer include the code to get the free variety map pack.....you still gotta pay for that at the Play Station store."

"Great game. I had played the multiplayer with a friend on XBox and it was even better on PS3. Controls are easy to learn, and the game is very well to adapt to your skills. Multiplayer is fun too with the 4 person split screen. Great game, well recommended if you like military games or shooters. makes you feel like you are a Marine."

"Oh my god. I have never played a game as good as this. I've played halo gears, ghost reacon, and other first- person shooter, this is the best by far. Conquest is awesome! It's like you're actually in the war. Dialogue really brings the game to life. Online is awesome. Team deathmatch is great. If your bad and on recruit for conquest you will have your butt blown off. If you love first-person shooters, then your crazy not to get this. ADD TO CART!"

"This game is truely worth the purchase. I first went into Best Buy and purchased the star wars force unleashed game the day it came out. I did not open it and read a ton of reviews about how it was fun but very fast, so I then took the game back and picked up Call of Duty 4 with the help of the sales associate in the Sherman Oaks store. The game came highly recommended and I am glad that I purchased it. The graphics are amazing. I am not much of a story reader and like to fast-forward my way through, and this allows you to do that. You do have to wait for the occasional chapter loading, but that goes by quickly. I do not like to read manuals, so it took me about an hour to realize I could change weapons easily which helped alot! But, once that was all settled, it was a very exciting game. I blew through the easy level in a good amount of time for a beginner, and just finished the hard level, which I would definately recommend. Now I cannot wait for the online play. Watch out people, I am here to whop some booty! Thanks BEST BUY SHERMAN OAKS CA for the referral. It was wroth it!"

"This is a great realistic first person shooter. Playing online is a must with this one! You can upgrade your weapons as you continue to complete objectives. I would highly recommend this one to anyone that is a fan of the genre."

"Awesome. This game is indescribable, only playing it to feel what it looks like. I used to prefer playing FPS games in PC, but this one is amazing. If the next COD game matches with Modern Warfare and add more weapons, it will beat in every shooting games for PS3."

What's great about it: Realism, graphics, gameplay, level ups
What's not so great: Patch updates

"Pros:

-This game is extremely realistic, makes you feel like you are there.
-The concept of leveling up your character is awesome, unlocking weapons etc.
-Controller on PS3 is designed VERY well for shooter games. Normally I prefer shooter games on PC but this game is one of the few exceptions.

Cons:

-Updating the game is a pain. You have to get it through a patch with a game.com type of website and most of them make you sign up a subscription or pay for a monthly fee to download the patch. If you aren't subscribed or pay a due, you have to wait forever just to get the download."

"I have never played any game for very long before I got tired of it, but this game has been so fun I can't stop playing it. You can hook up with your friends online and play as a team. "this game is a must buy if you enjoy 1st person shooters. i love the online play except for the fact that servers act weird sometimes but they usually work pretty well. the campaign mode is a little short but yet what game isnt these days. i reccomend buying this game if you have a ps3 cause online play is FREE and fun"

What's great about it: Great graphics, excellent game play, very fun and addicting
What's not so great: Campaign mode is too short, can't play co-op

"I was kind of skeptical to get this game for a while, but after all the rave reviews I read I broke down and bought it. Very good decision. The graphics are great, the gameplay is very fun because no two missions are the same. I'm not a big online player so my only real cons with this game are that the single player campaign mode is very short (i beat it in about 3 days) and there is no co-op option. Other than that this is a great game and i would definitely recommend this to anyone."
