This product is fantastic, it has reconnected me to my forgotten CD collection many which I had not listened to in years. Being a non techi person I did have a bit of an issue figuring it out at first but once I got it, it is very easy. I love the idea of the streaming album art. I also understand why I see so many people walking around with their iPODS on all the time. The amount of music it holds works as if it were a personal radio station without commericals which only plays songs I like and it could take days to listen to them all without a repeat. Buying music is a breeze as well.
What's great about it: Easy to see markings on the wheel and pretty easy to use once you figure it out
What's not so great: Minimal directions, having to go online to view iPOD manual several times over

best ipod nano so far the battery life is great the new shuffle shake the ipod isn't really great unless your using it in your car which it helps change the song fast
What's great about it: the new genious program is great

The iPOD nano is a great add on to the iPOD franchise. This new generation device brings you with new games and features such as the "shaker feature." This item can also hold up to over thousands of songs. It makes a wonderful gift for anyone in the family. The only downside is that the battery runs a little short and in some cases it messes up completely. Overall I would recommend this to a friend and I hope this review has become of service.

This ipod is terrific for pretty much any usage at any time of day. I found it really helpful and not so pricey. I am so glad i bought i and think you would be glad to!

This ipod is really great! I've had it for almost 2 months and I have had no problems with it. I take it with me everywhere and it is also small enough to go running with it. The battery life seems to run out quickly when I'm picking my songs but if I just put it on shuffle and let it run, it lasts a really long time.
What's great about it: sound quality, portable
What's not so great: battery life

I like the iPod overall but after having it for a while i have run out of memory. I would suggest to get getting the 16 gb nano unless you don't think you will be getting a lot of songs and movies.
What's great about it: The size and weight
What's not so great: 8 gigs isn't enough

I got one and man its the greatest....its small so its really portable but its not small enough so that its useless but great. I really recommend it to anyone who wants an ipod....especially with all those cool colors!!!! =)

I got this iPod about a month & a half ago & so far I've had no problems with it so far. The sound quality is great, iTunes is easy to use, & overall the quality is great. I would definitely recommend the product to everyone.

I can't complain, I use this when I am running. I have an Ipod touch and it definately doesn't beat it but its great to use when I need to go running, with friends, or just to travel with. The bad part about it is the battery life but it lasts a good time if I have it locked and just playing through the music.

My daughter got this Nano as a gift. It was easy to set up with iTunes. She was purchasing music by using an iTunes gift card in a matter of minutes. Price is a little high compared to the Sony model I use. Sound quality is good but the battery life could be better.

I was given this iPod for my birthday. I have since dropped, scratced, dented and torn it up. I once slammed it in a desk drawer once on accident. It started up like nothing was ever wrong. I have had some problems with it though. At one point the battery would only keep charge for a 1/2 of a hour. Fortunatley I got the warrenty and they fixed it without a complaint. The only bad part was it was away for 2 weeks! If you don't care about the iPod brand name than you can get a MP3 Player for a whole lot less with more memory. Next time around I think I will get a Zune.
What's great about it: The Durabillity
What's not so great: Short Battery Life, Reliabillity

I got the new iPod in Decemeber, and I pretty much love it. The only complaint I have about it is whenever I put it in my pocket, I had to put it on hold due to the fact that the cover flow would come on, and I wouldn't be able to change the volume. But it still had great sound and picture quality, and the colors are nice too.
What's great about it: Sound Quality, Weight, Toughness
What's not so great: Side Cover Flow

i absolutely love love love my nano 4th gen. this is actually the first mp3 player i have ever purchased. ive been wanting one for a while, and i finally broke down and got this one. i didnt know how much i would actually get use out of it, but let me tell you, i use it everyday! the only regret i have is that i purchased the 8GB nano, thinking that would be plenty, and ive only had this for about 3 months and ive already used up like 7GB! wish i would have went with the 16GB, but at the time i didnt know. i have since purchased a shuffle to load playlists for certain activities, tanning, etc. so i can switch back and forth between the two. both of which are awesome little players, and so easy to use! overall this ipod has great features and its definately worth getting!
What's great about it: sound quality, picture quality of display screen, easy to use
What's not so great: nothing

Great Features and great design. I bought an ipod nano 3g about a year ago from best buy as well as a 2 year warranty for $20. now it's January and my ipod is all messed up even after restoring it a numerous amount of times, i brought it back to best buy, gave it to geek squad and within 5 minutes, they gave me the new nano. (i had a 4 gig 3g nano, they gave me a 8 gig nano cuz it was the same price when i bought the 3g one) itake it on the bus, on the go, everywhere.
What's great about it: Full Matte back so it dosn't scratch like on my last ipod nano (3g) accelerometer is awesome.
What's not so great: it seams like the battery life is shorter, and is an ipod that wouldn't get to messed up without a case.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got this as a Christmas gift two weeks ago, and it's AWESOME. My boyfriend got so annoyed because I kept raving about how awesome it was. The screen is REALLY clear and easy to keep clean. The sound is great (with most music players I've used, even my Mac, I have to turn the volume way up to get a decent sound, but with my iPod I rarely have to turn it past the halfway mark) and it's really tiny (but not too tiny) and light. I was really worried about the size because I big problem I have is MP3 players falling out of my pocket, but this thing is so thin I can actually fit it into my jeans pocket without any trouble, and it stays put. The capacity is GREAT, I've barely made a dent in my 8G. The games are really fun (although you might look like an idiot trying to play the Maze game). I keep hearing people worried about the shake to shuffle and cover flow features, but you can turn both of those off, as well as put your iPod on hold. And when they say shake, it's not going to randomly change songs in your pocket, it has to be a pretty decent shake. I love how the screen rotates with your iPod, it's especially great for photos, games and videos, because you can have the image fill up the whole screen. When you're just chilling out though, and go to turn up the volume or something and it's on Cover Flow, that might be a slight nuisance.
The only things I'm really disappionted about is the battery life (it's not awful, but I would definitely get a wall adaptor when you purchase an iPod because they charge much better than your computer) and the artwork. I'm a perfectionist, and I have ALL my album artwork on iTunes, but my iPod doesn't display some of it. And sometimes even if you have the artwork, only some songs display it while playing, and it doesn't always show up on Cover Flow. That might not bother you, but it's a little irritating to me.
Overall, though, this is great and I really recommend you get one. ^_^
What's great about it: light, small, great sound, syncs fast, capacity, cute, clear screen, durable
What's not so great: battery isn't too great

love it love it love it its good for people of all ages it is wonderful i love shuffleing songs so i dont waste my battery it is the worlds most greatest thing i had the touch it still works but its so huge to carry to school so i bought the nano nd it is cute adorable nd the best ipod nano yet it beats last years the year before that and the year before 2 thumbs up 5 stars

So i stood in line on Black Friday for 7 hours to get 20 dollars off. Believe me it was totally worth it. I have owned this for two days and can't take my hands off of it. For those concerned with scratching the screen get the INVISIBLE SHIELD amazing product, you can't even tell it's on your nano yet it protects it from anything absolutely worth dropping 25.99 at your local best buy for TIP buy it with your i pod so you don't hurt it before you protect it. The maze game is fantastic, you actually move the i pod and the ball follows. This is a top of the line product. If you want the best buy the i pod nano!
