What's not so great: MY THUMB WHEEL BROKE IN LESS THEN A WEEK

What's great about it: The Features,sound,color
What's not so great: Getting music on it, battery life and finding a dock (not that expensive) that charges.
"I got a black ipod for christmas. I really like this ipod. I really like the features like the shake to shuffle and the cover flow. But i don't like the battery life or that I can't find a dock that will charge and is not that expensive. But I still really like this ipod."

Greatest Nano EVER!!

What's great about it: Easy to set up, has a fair price, good amount of memory, very good memory life, huge screen, and much more
What's not so great: You have to charge the ipod through a computer.
"I got this ipod for christmas, and I tell you what, its probably the greatest gift i've ever recieved. I love the features it has like the new shake to shuffle feature and also the genius feature. Also, i like how the screen is glass instead of the old screen they used to have. Also, i love how big the screen is. The details in images like album art is stunning and very detailed. All in all this ipod is an amazing media player and i would definately reccomend it to anyone who wants an ipod or any type of mp3 player."

What's great about it: well it can store alot of music even down load a complete cd cost is cheaper than the cd aka disc plus it is alsolike at
What's not so great: u have to charge it thru the hard drive of the computer all in all it is great i like it
"it is great i like it also it can down laod a complete cd cost is pretty cheap to down load it to the ipod it for $150.00 is nice they rarely go on sale u might save like couple bucks but basically it does not go on sale much i like it cases for it are pretty expensive so take care of the ipod and you waont have to worry about damage plus when u hook up the ipod to the car it is like a cd changer the ipod for $150.00 is about the same as a cd changer less cost to install it do it your self you can down load like 2000 things sort of that all depends on what you save it is a good ipod"

"I only say it was hard to install because if you use a netgear adapter my is a dual band model wnda3100 the ipod will not work when the adapter is plugged in I called apple and they figured it out. Great product if not for that flawless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Wont Charge WIth 99% of Items

What's great about it: Design and Look
What's not so great: Cant charge with anything currently in stores accept supplied cable and Apple Docking station. Not one sales person knew
"Recieved this as my first iPod thought great looks great! But went to buy all new connectors and charges and not one of them works with this unit and no one in the store knew about this. Back it goes. Everything I bought to work with this unit will not charge it and the battery doesnt last very long. Looking for another option. Call Apple about it and they say nothing. I would recommend this unit at this time."

What's great about it: everything
What's not so great: the acceleramiter sometimes doesnt work
"this is my first ipod and i love it. ive used ipod 2nd and 3rd generations before and i perfer this one. i love the acceleramiter in it, although it sometimes it doesnt work, and with it it has a much bigger screen than any other nano. i only have 35 songs on it right now but i love it"

3rd Generation is Better

What's great about it: Good clarity in music, extremely portable, storage
What's not so great: less eye candy than 3rd, durability, screen
"This iPod nano is just okay. Let's start off with the goods:
- The music as always is stunning to listen to and there's room for plenty of it.
- It's small and very portable.
- $150 is pretty good for a product with many features such as this one.
And unfortunately, for the bads:
- It's not as eye catching as the third gen iPod nano. It looks more like plastic.
- The screen in daylight isn't great because it has a bad glare since there's too much of a shine. It's also smaller and even though it has a accelerometer, it's no big deal.
- Durability could be much better. The thing is way too light and if you drop it on a hard floor, there's most likely going to be some decent scratches.
- The graphics seem to have decreased from the 3rd. The screen seems to have small lines if you look closely going horizontally across it for no reason. I'm not sure if it's supposed to make it look good but not to my eye it doesn't.
Overall, I'd pay a bit less for the 3rd generation iPod nano because I believe they still sell them and get a kick out of that because there's nothing extremely new in this one."

What's great about it: Beautiful, Easy navigation, Decent battery for a nano, GREAT price for the capacity!
What's not so great: chipping of paint on edges (plan on getting a case for this baby)
"I initially had an ipod shuffle and it worked fine, but I went through syncing problems, and then i got another one through best buy's replacement plan thinking I was going to be fine and then I wanted to pull my hairs out! My fiance had a nano and he loves it, and my brother had the touch and was great too... I decided to upgrade to the nano and now we're inseparable! Sound Quality is good enough for me because I don't plan on blowing my ears out, like other people (who like to complain of its sound quality). Movies look nice for such a tiny device (convenient feature for trips!) . Battery life is fine but an upgrade to 36 hours would be super for a nano (eg. Ipod touch and classic). The genius feature is also very convenient to make quick playlists with your music.
So much more... buy it you won't be disappointed (with a replacement plan just in case). Think about getting a case because the paint does chip off this baby."

What's great about it: Great features, very durable, good battery life.
"The new iPod nano has new features like Genius—for creating playlists of songs that go or sound great together—, and Shake-To-Shuffle—for shuffling to another song—. It also includes 3 games—Klondike (a solitaire game), Maze (in which you control a ball through a maze by using the accelerometer), and Vortex (a version of Pong with much better graphics and gameplay).
The interface is also much improved. It's a lot more "zippy" and Cover Flow and the album artwork load a lot faster.
As far as durability goes, it's definitely an improvement from the previous generation because it's made out of anodized aluminum and the screen is very scratch resistant due to being made of glass.
It also has a good battery life—up to 24 hours for audio—, and 2" glass LCD screen, which is pretty good for viewing videos and photos, and the price is great."

"This is awesome, i got it yesterday and put all my music in it. The accelerometer is pretty cool for games. The only bad thing about it is that you have to use iTunes and my computer sucks so it takes forever to put music on it with iTunes."

What's great about it: New features
"I couldn't believe how amazing this product was! My 2nd generation Nano finally gave up, so I got this. The large screen is very innovative, along with the many colors. The Accelerometer is the best part to this iPod- cover flow, interactive games (Maze is great with the Accelerometer), picture viewing, movies (flips according to what side you're holding down), and the Shake to Shuffle feature. The space is large for the value. This iPod is much more eco-friendly. It is also the thinnest MP3 player I have ever held.
Get this iPod if you're looking for a great product or upgrading from a lower generation Nano or any other low-line MP3."

What's great about it: good price, easy to put music & videos on it, love the colors.
What's not so great: everything is perfect.
"i bought this ipod for my brother and i plan on getting one so i played with his to see what they are like and they're great. The sound is very clear and loud. Videos are best displayed on this ipod better than any other ipod i've used.
shake to shuffle is wonderful. Overall, this iPod is a great purchase and i'm satified. I can't wait to get mine."

What's not so great: It's buttons are way too sensitive to the touch
"It looks nice. Having to use iTunes to put on songs is horrible. One little movement, and your volume is changed, or it changes songs, and on a bumpy bus for two hours like i do every week day, it gets annoying."
