What's great about it: LOTS OF SPACE
What's not so great: Click wheel is sometime unresponsive
"This is a great product, I picked the 120 gb over the ipod touch because I didn't need the wi fi etc I rather have the space. This thing is really durable to I don't know how many times I've dropped it before I purchased a cased. The only thing I would say thats could be "bad" is the click wheel sometimes is unresponsive but other then that this thing is great!!!!"

What's great about it: Keeps them occupied; easy to know what to get them...I-tunes cards!
"Best gift I have ever purchased for my daughter. No griping about the color, the fit; no complaints about "this makes me look like an idiot." If I had it to do over again, I definitely would! Got a hookup for her car so that it plays for her and I don't have to hear any gripes about what to get her for birthdays and Christmas. All she wants an i-tunes card to download new tunes and movies. This thing rocks! No probs at all."

What's great about it: Nothing.
What's not so great: Everything!
"I received an iPod a few years ago for Christmas...throughout the time that it worked, the battery life was short (wouldn't last a plane ride) and it scratches easily, unless you buy a case, which usually you pay too much money for. I did not get very much use out of mine, probably between 20-30 hours of usage before it simply quit working. I suspect that the battery died, and to replace it, it is $100 - 1/3 of the cost of the iPod. You don't get what you pay for with this company..don't buy their products!"

What's great about it: Many features, lots of space, design
What's not so great: Broke quickly
"I bought this for my wifes birthday. She did not use it to much. She only had about 10% of the space used. It has many great features. This has a large amount of space to store just about whatever you want on it. The only downfall was that my wifes broke quickly. I am a huge Apple fan so of course I feel that it was defective. What happens is when we go to charge it, the ipod just continualy reboots itself over and over. It will not charge either. When we hook it up to charge it just keeps rebooting. I think it is because it is not holding a charge, so it turns on and off. Again, I obviously dont think thi is with every one of them. I have the IPOD touch myself and absolutely love it. I know others with this same IPOD who have no problems whatsoever. Given the circumstances I would recommend this to a friend, however, I advise to purchase the extended warranty."

What's great about it: Large Storage Capacity
What's not so great: Dead pixel in screen :(
"Great purchase if you have tons of songs & videos or photos. Consider this to BACK-UP and Enjoy your entire library!
It has decent response-time for a dynamic hard-drive (once you make your selection...so many songs/so little time!)
I was shocked to discover a solo pixel that was stuck towards the lower quarter of the screen. I chose to live with it because I don't watch too many movies with mine (mostly songs & it is only noticable when the screen shows darker scenes-pixel stays lit) but it was still a little disappointing."

"This is better than the nano! Because its battery life is better! When you turn on the nano If you play games it loses battery life easaly. So pick this ipod and not the nano. Nanos have bad battery life. This one is great for traveling and if you just wanna listen or watch something. The space in this ipod is AWESOME!! you can put like, 6 movies in this and it still has alot of space left for tv shows and music videos and music! So you should totally get this for a gift or yourself. This is a great ipod.its like Never ending fun!"

What's great about it: Pocket size, hard to accidentally delete songs, easy to figure out, tons of storage, better for music lovers
What's not so great: Scratches easily, Itunes is more complicated than the ipod...
"This is a great product. It is great for music lovers. Products such as the ipod touch are more for people who want apps and special features, plus the touch is way more expensive. I like how it is perfect pocket size, its nut bulky, or too tall. I would suggest getting some sort of protection for it, it is very durable, but scratches easily. The only problem i have encounteerd is Itunes is more complex than the Ipod itself"

What's great about it: Very easy to set up, holds alot of songs (perfect for the obssesive music lover, like me).
What's not so great: The screen scratches VERY easily.
"I think that the 120 gig iPod classic is the perfect iPod for ANYBODY who loves music. I personally think that iPods, like the Touch, where made more for people who just, "like" music, and need something more for entertainment, like the games and stuff. I mean it's nice to have the nice games and all, but having an iPod made mostly for palying games, does not really work for me. But I think that being one of the iPods with the most memory space, it is a very, very, good iPod for the die-heart music lovers (such as myself)."

if it drops without a case it most likely will survive but i highly suggest you get a case so it doesn't get scratched.
I love this i-pod. I had the 3rd Generation I-Pod but I've always wanted and i-pod classic so I got this one for my birthday and I love it. It works amazing. Easy to use, easy to sync (like any other i-pod) and it is pretty!"

"This is a good ipod, and has lots of memory, but I just dont care for the way it looks. It seems like its old and outdated. I recently got an ipod touch. A whole lot more fun. The classic is a good ipod for people with tons of songs or videos, and just dont care about the looks of the classic."

"I recently bought a 16gb nano and personally the nano has better features than the classic. I wanted to get the 120gb classic just for the extra space and i like the fact that it's bigger but upon buying the classic i was disapointed. It is so much like the 3rd generation nano's just bigger and im not too keen on its software design. Personally id recomend the 4th generation nano. Its just perfect and i didnt like the classic at all. =) hope this helps the other conflicted ipod users like myself lol"

"I got this product from "Santa" on Christmas day and I was so excited. I was only nine then and I still use it. Origanaly I got a zune but it didnt work so then I got my blue ipod. I thought the price was good knowing that I only had an 8 GB. You don't really need that many GBs if you dont have millions of songs that you like. Tip: If you buy this product and you want to buy movies and shows, get a waaaay higher GB. This is because I kept loading all these movies and I had no space. But as I said was not so great, there arent that many features. There are podcasts, which i dont know how to buy, and the games are so expensive on iTunes. If you hear a song on the radio you like and you want to download it right away, u'd have to be bye the computer. I've also accidently dropped mine in puddles and such and it still works. I dont recommend trying that though. I bought a clear case for protection too which helped."

"Ok so the ipod classic id say is better than any other ipod, not feature wise because of course we all know the touch wins that battle, but, this ipod is the best overall model. Although i really do wish it had something more, the touch has everything, the nano is sleek and thin, and also has an accelerometer, the classic just has, well a lot of memory and thats really it. but either way its a great product, easy to use, and you'll NEVER run out of space, buy!"

"I had a 30gb Video for 2 years and the screen went bad. Time for a new iPod. The 120gb was $50 cheaper, and couldn't be happier. Im only half way on filling up the memory, and back up alot of my computer files on it as well(almost like a external HD). I HIGHLY recommend some kind of silcone jacket and also a screen protective film. Also some times, on different headphone jacks, the audio will cut out. but all in all a good buy!"
