Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection: Nintendo Wii

Model: WII40001
SKU: 8782285

SynopsisKeep your eye on the ball as it rockets across the table. Engage the flippers at just the right moment or watch your ball go bye-bye. This is the action and intensity of Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection. Get hooked on 10 classic Williams pinball tables from the 70's, 80's and 90's. Test your hand-eye coordination in challenges such as Gorgar, Pinbot and Funhouse. Only those with the fastest reflexes can dominate each table. Enjoy the excitement of Black Knight, Space Shuttle, Whirlwind, Firepower and other edge-of-your-seat contests. High scorers will unlock awesome bonuses, such as adjustable tilt on/off, custom pinballs and extra balls per play. From the moment you release the plunger, you will feast your eyes on realistic details. When the action gets too intense, take a break by visiting the table art and audio galleries. You'll also enjoy an interesting "behind the scenes" segment.

I bought this game for my husband because he is obsessed with pin ball. He is addicted to it, and I have even started playing it. We have competitions and we keep trying to beat e/o score. This game is such a fun game is you like pin ball. Definitely worth the 20 bucks ;-D
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Wish there were more tables

This is the most awsome game for Wii. If you liked pinball in the arcades, you will be amazed at how real this seems. The big thing for me is using both the wiimote and the nun-chuck, in that you are using both hands for the flippers (vs, the shift key or a PS3 controller) it makes it much more realistic. My family loves this game and we all play it together.
I hope Bally realeases something similar for the Wii because it would have the greatest pinball game of all time... Addams Family!!
What's great about it: Taxi, Whirlwind, Fun House
What's not so great: Jive Time

This game is soooo much fun! I only paid $20 for it and with some Wii games you get what you pay for. Definitely not the case for this game! You can even build up credits for Free Play! I tried all of the Pinball Games and each one is more fun then the next! Graphics are great and it even supplies photos of the flyers that were used to promote these games in their day! It's neat to compare how they matched them up graphically! Easy to control the flippers with "Z" Button and Nunchuck! Even Swaying motion to Bump or TILT. Highly Recommended!
What's great about it: Variety of Pinball Games
What's not so great: Nothing! Everything Rocks!

My husband and I love this game. It brings back memories of going to the arcade after school. The games are great representations of their former counterparts! You can even tilt. We are so enthusiastic about it even our 15 year old daughter has caught the fever and loves to play it with us. The price is wonderful! I have paid far more for wii games that I don't even enjoy half as much. I would definitely recommend this game to everyone, especially the children of the eighties!!!
What's great about it: Very realistic, great graphics, just like the real arcade games
What's not so great: no complaints

I have to say I love this for the nostalgic feel of these old pinball games I remember playing at the arcades... its nice that I can play the video game rather than buying these pinball games for like more money $ and the cost of repair and all the little gizmos that are involved in owning the real thing! so The video game on wii is great its feel of the ball hitting of the flipper is real and you can use the wii remote with the numchuk and you can move it from side to side to tilt the table pretty cool becareful not to hard though! the numchuk is one flipper and the wii remote is the other flipper. love playing funhouse! Taxi, Whirlwind. totally old school. for the price its overall a good game to own for family and fun with friends! you can also play multiplayer tourneys and williams challenge mode of playing all the pinball systems pretty cool options for what this game offers. The only bad things of this game is the wii graphics, and the viewing on some of the tables could be better! Fun game I would recommend though otherwise.
What's great about it: Great Pinball fun that bring back the memories!!
What's not so great: Graphics and viewing

I'll keep this review short and sweet. My mom actually picked out this game because she said that she enjoyed playing real pinball back in the day. We both played this game together & loved every minute of it. Great simulation of old pinball games!!!
What's great about it: Easy to play! I think I like this better than regular pinball
What's not so great: No complaints

I gave 4's for "Storyline" because you know..its pinball. Not really a valid category.
Let me be clear, I LOVED TAXI in highschool. Loved it.
If I didn't already have a Wii and if the only game I got in the packaged game was TAXI, I'd have bought it all to have this game.
It is SO like the actual game. The only flaw I can find is that I used to be able to get "Gorby" with the right flipper, and I can't quite do it wth this game. Only a TAXI fanatic would pick on this. And that flaw is a drop of water in an ocean.
I CANNOT BELIEVE how well they mimicked the actual game. Even the slight randomness of when you pull back the spring lever to put the ball into play. Its never perfectly repeatable.
When I heard "Comrad Taxi" for the first time, I felt like a million bucks, I LOVED this game. And now I have it, without the full sized machine sitting in my house.
THANK YOU !!
What's great about it: TAXI and how "real" it feels
What's not so great: None

I loved playing pinball as a child and this brought back great memories. I really enjoy playing this game. It is great to compete against others, but the ability to play by yourself is great too. I find some of the games very difficult to win in the Williams Challenge. That helps keep it interesting. The only thing that I would change is the lack of information about what getting high scores really does. I have seen something flash in the bottom right of the screen, but it is so brief that I can not read it. It shows up while you are playing so you are already distracted. They should put the display at the end after you win, so that you can read it.
What's great about it: multiple options for play, single player ability
What's not so great: could use more info about unlocking features

This game could not be any closer to the real thing without being an actual pinball machine. How the ball moves is very realistic. If you love pinball this game is for you. I would rate 3 of the 10 tables as good or excellent but that is enough to completely enjoy this game.
What's great about it: Great Simulation
What's not so great: only 3 of the tables are great.

Since I played pinball on the original Playstation I have been waiting for another Pinball game to come out. I was very excited to see this one and wasn't disappointed when I got it home. My 11 year old and I love playing each one of the tables; however, my favorites include Whirlwind and Funhouse. I love that they put Jive Time in there too, it reminds me of the machine we had at our house in the 80's. It's not as exciting as some of the others, but it's still a lot of fun. If you're a pinball fan, I highly recommend this game!
What's great about it: Great graphics and variety of tables
What's not so great: Needs more tables

If you like Pinball, Pinball Sims, or real arcade Pinball, this game is a must buy!! The is the most realistic pinball sim I have ever played. The table selection will bring back many memories for those who played pinball in the arcades in the 80s-early 90s. If you like pinball, buy this game NOW!
What's great about it: Great sim, ball physics
What's not so great: Its just pinball

My husband and I love playing Pinball and usually play when we get a chance at the Pizza Parlor or other locations which is not very often. When I saw this game I figured we would give it a try, but considering Pinball games we have played on other gaming systems in the past I was not giving it much hope on being fun to play.
Wow! we were amazed at how amazing the graffics are, as well as how we "felt" like we were playing the real thing.
Our favorites are "Fun House", "Whirlwind" and "Space Shuttle". Some of the games are pretty "lame" but good for a laugh at how they ever got put into production.
You can enter the arcade to play the games individually or with up to 4 players and
There is a tournament mode for up to 4 players where you can play from 1 to all 10 machines, or take the Williams challenge where you have to get a set score on all 10 games to win.
I highly recommend this game for all Wii owners. My 6 year old daughter has a little bit of a hard time playing as she doesn't totally grasp the concept of the flippers, etc. But my 13 year old son loves to play and has set several high scores.
What's great about it: Like playing the real thing
What's not so great: No housework getting done!

I call it "Sit down pinball" only difference from a real pinball machine, you don't have to stand to use the flippers
What's great about it: price, graphics, loads of fun....
What's not so great: would have liked more machines but that is only minus about Pinball HOF

If my kids didn't already have the WII and I went somewhere and played this game, I would have bought a WII just so I could play this! Includes 10 tables which several are some of my favorites (Funhouse, Whirlwind and Taxi). Some may not care for Jive Time, but I believe that was probably the first machine I ever played and my friends and I used to play it a lot at the golf course snack bar between rounds so it has a nostalgic attraction for me. The game play on the tables in dead on to the real thing. Whirlwinds spinning disks cause the exact same ball motion I remember from the real table. I have tried several pinball simulations over the years on my computers, but this is hands down the best. Hope they come out with a Bally version and put in my all time favorite, Addams Family.
What's great about it: Realistice gameplay, represents the real tables
What's not so great: Doesn't include my favorite pinball game
I would recommend this to a friend!
