"This is by far the best Controller I have ever played with. It has amazing rumble great button layout And Of course its wireless. The playstation button is a very nice feature. Plus The Controller actually Can be gripped unlike the xbox gamepad which rests agaisnt your hands. Great Controller."

What's great about it: vibrate function, excellent battery length
What's not so great: price, cord length

"I purchased my Dualshock3 controller last month and i was very impressed in the added vibrate function compared to the Sixaxis controllers. Also this controller feels more comfortable in my hands than the sixaxis'. the added weight of the controllers make for more comfortable and extended gameplay"

"I really love this controller! i just bought my ps3, and coming from the ps2, this controller feels nicer somehow (maybe it's in my head?) but the MAIN thing, is that there is no wire! so nice! especially when i have 2 dogs and 2 cats."

What's great about it: Durable and it RUMBLES!!
What's not so great: Heavier than original Sixaxis

"Now that I have been using my Dualshock for a while I feel like I am using a quality product. The addition of the rumble feature has added a new depth to game play. The controller is slightly heavier than the original Sixaxis, however, this makes you feel like you are holding a controller that won't snap in half under your fingers."

What's not so great: a little bit heavier

"was already extremely happy with the Sixaxis controller, but I could not resist getting the DualShock 3. Not only do you get the rumble, but also, it feels much better in your hands, even for those games that do not use this feature. The rumble function is fun, but on top of that, it helps with gameplay, because "feeling" what is happening provides a lot more feedback than just watching how your character or car reacts to the environment.

The biggest surprise of all was that the rumble works with PS 2 games in the PS 3 system. I am currently playing through "God of War", a game which had the rumble capability in PS 2. I thought that it was unlikely that I was going to get this feature with this new controller in the PS 3, but it worked perfectly.

I know that having to buy a new controller and basically discard the one that came with the system is not the ideal situation, but I have to say this product is really worth shedding the extra bucks."

What's great about it: rumble, control, wireless
What's not so great: joystic rubber and price for that flaw

"this controler is fun to use especially playing football, shooter games, and much more. the only thing i don't like about this controler is the rubber part of the joysticks, it can easily split and break especially playing agressive games like football. i love this controller and i bought two of these, but now i'm playing games with controllers with raw thumb against a hard plastic joysticks. maybe someone could tell me how to get some rubber pieces for the joystick. it's not worth to pay $50 for something that breaks easily and takes the fun away for that reason."

"This is a great controller. I really like the dualshock 3 it goes well with Madden and Metal Gear Solid 4. The price is kind of high but I think in the end it's beneficial because you dont have to buy batteries all the time. Overall a great controller."

What's great about it: A lot of games incorporate the dualshock tech.
What's not so great: Few games use it very innovatively as MGS4

"This is one of those purchases that you don't even have a choice in, so why fight it? Soon (if not already) you'll only be able to get dualshock in stores. For those of you who don't care about the function, you can find the version of the controller on online shops for cheap. But for the purist gamers out there, who want to experience everything the game has to offer, just get this. OH! And make sure it comes with the cord. My first one didn't."
