What's great about it: Its a familiar shape
What's not so great: It doesn't come with $1,000,000
I haven't opened this yet but I have another one open and am using it and it works just fine.
I'm very comfortable with the PS3 controller since it isn't much different than the PS1 or PS2 controllers.

What's great about it: Battery life & durability
What's not so great: nothing..I haven't had any problems so far
The controllers are very sturdy and I never have any problems with them. I love that they plug into the charger and stay charged for a pretty long time.

What's great about it: Well it's the stock controller alright and works and feels just like one.
What's not so great: The cost is highway robbery, even worse with no charging cable included.
Controller works like it should and is just as sturdy as any stock OEM PS3 controller.
Big gripe is no charger cable included for what you're paying for it. $54.99 + tax for a controller is rediculous enough, but for that price they should at least be tossing you a cheap, short cable for it.
As long as you're not getting a cable, you might as well pay the extra 5 bucks for one of the combo packs on this site that has the controller + a couple games and at least get a little more value for the cost...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This purchase was to replace one of my original Sony PS3 controllers that had stopped working. The purchase through "store pickup" went pretty well other than no one waiting on me for five minutes even though I was first in line at "Store Pickup".

What's great about it: got it 10 dollars cheaper then anywhere else
What's not so great: Does not have a charging cord
I got this for my husband for Christmas, it was a great price, but it does not come with a charging cord. We don't think it's that big of a deal for we have a cord already, but some people might want to know.

What's great about it: Comfortable natural fit for extended play and Excellent Build Quality
What's not so great: Lacks USB Cable
The controller was designed solid by Sony. Nothing special, I find it better comfort over third-party controllers. Battery life is on average when compared to Wii and Xbox 360 rechargeables (5-6 hours continuous play). Full Charge via USB averages around 4 hours. It's difficult to understand for $55 it's just the controller and no USB Mini cable included to charge it. Even a 4" cable doesn't cost more than $.50. Would it be nice for Sony to pony up and offer a USB with the controller? Not too much to ask for. It would upset others if you don't have a handful of them around. Again, Solid controller I find hard to replace with any other third-party.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: No problems to report.
I like how light it is and easy fit around your hand and where the buttons are. I love that it is wireless and that I got the one that is Dualshock 3 which is real light and not heavy to hold in your hands.

What's not so great: Hands can cramp after playing for an extended time
If you are looking to buy a new contoller for your PS3, get this one. Yes, it will cost you more money than a third party controller but it's worth it. I have used a lot of Logitech, MadCatz, and other third party controllers. They all start falling apart after a couple months. Do yourself a favor and get this controller. Plus, lots of games for the PS3 need the Six-Axis and this is the best controller for that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: great on battery and nice that PS# stayed with ps2 design to keep same control set up.
What's not so great: Hands hurt after long time use,lol.And price is still high.
I actually have 4 controllers. Glad I have 2 systems cause it seems playstation is stepping away from family played games.Or the companies that make the games for them are.The controllers last a while,I got a table charger for 2 controllers at a time and it works great .Keeps all 4 charged and usable.I have big hands so I must admit I like the original xbox design the best for systems.It was big enough to keep my hands comfortable for much longer time.Not much changed in playstations paddle designs ,but still enjoy them greatly.2 of my paddles are atleast 3 years old and still keep a great charge and work perfect.
I would recommend this to a friend!
