What's great about it: easy listening, great pricing
What's not so great: album art
This is one of my favorite cd's, the only one that I can actually listen to all the way through. The only thing that almost discouraged me from buying it was the album art, I had no idea that it was the Raconteurs until I looked at side of the cd. I thought it was some type of weird country album. Besides that, the lyrics are great, which should always be expected when Jack White is involved. :D

What's great about it: Great songs throughout
What's not so great: A little different from Broken Boy Soldiers
Any White Stripes fan will love this album. Someone who really liked the pop songs on Broken Boy Soldiers, though, may be a little disappointed by this CD. These songs sound much more like the White Stripes than before, but that's not a bad thing. Still a great album with a classic rock feel.

What's great about it: Better than Broken Soldier Boy
What's not so great: none
I highly recommend this album if you are a Racontuers fan or even a fan of Jack White/White Stripes. The album has a classic feel to it the first time you listen to it.

What's great about it: seamless vocals, screaming guitars, and horns
What's not so great: no lyrics included, that's it
This is a fantastic album, a solid second effort. The songwriting is top notch. It feels like a total group effort, unlike the first album which felt a little uneven.
Right from the start the music grabs hold and does not let go. As Benson sings you understand the conviction in his voice "I'm bored to tears". Then the album blazes on with salute your solution. A hot little rock number. Five on the Five is a awesome rock song as well.
There are some excellent songs on this album and none should be missed. Songs like Many shades of black, The switch and the spur and These stones will shout. These songs are great examples of the union of Benson and Black.
Fits of guitar fuzz solos and the layering in of the horns. All blend so well you'll think this band had been here for many years. Did I mention the fiddle work on Old enough. It just adds so much depth to the music.
I cannot recommend this album enough. It is as close to perfection as music being produced today can get.
p.s. songwriting this good deserves a lyric sheet shame on them for not including one.
